We start off tonight with the border invasion. It’s getting worse by the day.

The Gateway Pundit reports that more than 7 million illegals have walked across the U.S. southern border in Joe Biden’s first three years in office.

The numbers are growing. A Fox News reporter on Monday said that he witnessed the largest mass crossings he had ever seen in Eagle Pass, Texas.

But it appears that Republicans are too weak to impeach DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas or Joe Biden for their collapsing of the U.S. border and a preventable invasion.

The videos in this tweet by Ben Bergquam are shocking.

Bergquam posted the video from the Darien Pass in Panama last week. Over 4,000 people in one day passed through the area on their way to the open U.S. border.

Pastor Artur Pawlowski is a free man! Ezra Levant of Rebel News was in the courtroom Monday morning where Pastor Artur received his sentence for a 17-minute sermon he gave to the truckers during their rallies for freedom from Covid mandates and medical tyranny. 

I interviewed Pastor Artur just hours after he was released and he told me one of the reasons he avoided a long sentence was the overwhelming public support he received from both inside and outside of Canada.

Here’s Ezra Levant with a full report.

As you could see in that video, a large group of supporters gathered outside the courtroom in solidarity to cheer on Pastor Artur, who Rebel News reports has been a thorn in the side of Alberta’s medical establishment since the first COVID restrictions came into effect, noting:

“You may remember Pastor Artur as our first Fight The Fines case, and whose prominence in the public eye grew with each arrest for his courageous defiance against the spread of COVID tyranny.”

In the end, the judge handed Pastor Artur a 60-day sentence. He condemned the “tone” of his sermon, claiming it incited others to commit mischief and is why his punishment had to include prison time.

But Pastor Artur was credited with 78 days for time served in pre-trial custody, meaning he won’t have to spend any more time inside a prison cell. 

Rebel News noted:

“However, a criminal record is now attached to his name — it’s deeply troubling that anyone in Canada could be legally persecuted in such a way for peacefully protesting our government. It was clear from the outset that the prosecutor, Steven Johnston, seemed to have a personal vendetta against Pastor Artur. He took issue with Pastor Artur referring to prosecutors as ‘Gestapo’ and ‘evil’ — he wanted to bury him in prison for 8 to 10 months for his sermon.”

Although he now has his freedom, the fight is not over.

The financial website FrankNez.com reports that Wells Fargo is now freezing bank accounts according to new reports from a customer, which has led to a lawsuit.

Wells Fargo seized a customer’s funds and shut down his bank account over a legitimate $207,765 deposit.

Ethan Parker says he opened a new account at the bank late last year specifically to deposit a large check that he received after the death of his adoptive mother.

But 15 days after the deposit, Parker says Wells Fargo shuttered the account, took the funds and accused him of forging the check.

According to the lawsuit, Parker then obtained a letter from the firm that issued the check to confirm its legitimacy.

But the bank was not swayed and continued to deny Parker access to his funds without “adequate explanation.”

The lawsuit asks the courts to force Wells Fargo to release the funds, and says Parker has been damaged in an “amount to be proved at trial.”

In a statement to the Triangle Business Journal in Raleigh, North Carolina, a Wells Fargo spokesperson says the bank plans to defend its actions.

“We strongly disagree with the allegations made in the suit filed by Mr. Parker, and will defend our position as we believe Wells Fargo took the appropriate actions.”

Parker says he’s now unable to make house payments, and his lawyers say they’re looking for other people whose accounts were “improperly closed” by the bank over accusations of fraud.

But Wells Fargo isn’t the only bank freezing customer accounts.

The U.S. Treasury Direct has left users without access to their accounts from weeks to months according to several reports by FrankNez.

Bank of America has also frozen more than 1,000 accounts connected to Coinbase this past summer.

In a separate news item of note, several big banks including Wells Fargo and Bank of America announced plans to close 38 bank branches in and around New York City by the end of the year.

Citing corporate filings and accredited media reports, Newsbreak’s Joel Eisenberg reports that several dozen major bank branches in the state of New York are scheduled to permanently shutter through year's end.

The banks include Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Capital One, Citibank, JP Morgan Chase, Flagstar and several others.

Eisenberg writes that, “The ongoing closures of New York-based bank branches is a developing story,” suggesting that more bank closures in the state are forthcoming.

Even the corporate media is now admitting that the dollar is operating on borrowed time.

Yahoo Finance wrote the following, shocking admission:

“For decades, no global currency has stood a chance of dethroning the U.S. dollar. But a growing coalition of countries is apparently seeking to do just that — and they're already making moves.”

Yahoo goes on to note that the Indian government announced on August 14 that the country’s leading petroleum refiner, Indian Oil Corporation, used the local rupee instead of U.S. dollars to buy one million barrels of oil from the UAE’s national oil company.

This “monumental transaction” follows the sale of 25kg of gold from a UAE gold exporter to a buyer in India for around 128.4 million rupees ($1.54 million), according to Reuters.

Yahoo further concedes:

“And with the United Arab Emirates being invited to join BRICS, a bloc of the economies of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, it's possible we'll see more global trades in currencies other than the U.S. dollar.”

So, after months of dismissing and downplaying the impact of the BRICS nations ganging up against the dollar, even the mainstream is now getting hit with reality.

Yahoo Finance asks: “So, what could this mean for the U.S. dollar's future?”

The outlet then states that, “Powerful nations around the world — particularly China and Russia — are keen to dethrone the U.S. dollar in response to aggressive American sanctions and foreign policy plays.”

In August, the BRICS bloc agreed to admit Saudi Arabia, Iran, Ethiopia, Egypt, Argentina and the UAE to its ranks. A common desire among multiple bloc members is to level a global economic playing field they feel is over-reliant on the U.S. dollar.

This is part of a larger trend — deemed “de-dollarization” — that has left many questioning whether the dollar’s days of dominance are over. 

The news outlet then goes on to quote Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen saying that no currency “currently exists” that could displace the greenback.

Much like the dollar itself, Yellen’s reassurances are increasingly empty, aloof and irrelevant. Does anyone really pay attention to her anymore?

The Epoch Times reports that the maker of Berkey water filters, New Millennium Concepts, is suing the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) over what it says are false claims by the federal agency that its products are “pesticides.”

Using COVID-era regulatory powers, the EPA issued a stop-sales order to several Berkey vendors and distributors in May, resulting in mounting financial losses for the Texas-based company, which was founded in 1998.

On August 3rd, New Millennium Concepts filed a lawsuit in a Fort Worth federal court that challenges the EPA's stop-sales order as “unjustified persecution.”

“They’re going after the vendors. It’s really a way of starving Berkey in the market so we have nothing available—that’s the problem,” the company’s attorney, Warren Norred, told The Epoch Times.

“The sad reality is [government] control is its own reward. That’s where we are.”

The 49-page complaint argues that Berkey has done business in the United States without incident or regulation by the EPA for 25 years.

The Gateway Pundit reports that Illinois has become the first state to entirely abolish cash bail. This is a massive win for criminals.

The Gateway Pundit reported in July that the Illinois Supreme Court upheld the Pretrial Fairness Act provision of the Safety, Accountability, Equity, Transparency-Today Act, meaning that cash bail will be eliminated in Illinois.

The elimination of cash bail in Illinois was set to go into effect on Sunday, January 1, 2023, but the state’s highest court halted the reform.

Democrats in Illinois passed a new law to eliminate the cash bail system. The new law is aimed at reforming the state’s criminal justice system.

This will result in the release on no bail while awaiting court date of those accused of certain violent felonies, including second-degree murder, aggravated battery, and arson, as well as drug-induced homicide, kidnapping, burglary, robbery, intimidation, aggravated DUI, aggravated fleeing and eluding, drug offenses and threatening a public official.

Democrat Governor JB Pritzker signed HB 3653 THE SAFE-T ACT into law in February, saying the bill’s purpose was “Transforming the pretrial detention system so low-income people aren’t thrown behind bars while only the wealthy walk free, diverting low-level drug crimes into substance-treatment programs and reducing excessive stays in prison.”

Republican Mayor of Orland Park, Keith Pekau, said in a press conference earlier this year that this new law would deny victims their constitutional rights.

“It abolishes cash bail for almost every offense,” Pekau said. 

Offenders released on electronic monitoring have to be in violation for 48 hours before law enforcement can act. 

Pekau said, “They can almost drive to Alaska before we can even look for them.”

He said police will no longer be able to make arrests for trespassing in homes or businesses, adding “someone could decide to live in your shed and all we could do is give them a ticket.”

Just the News reports that current and former U.S. officials with dementia may pose a national security threat, citing a Pentagon-funded study that is bringing more scrutiny to aging politicians suffering from lapses in cognitive abilities.

Because people are living and working longer, “the workforce might experience a higher prevalence of dementia than in past generations,” according to the study, published by the RAND Corporation's National Security Research Division earlier this year.

It goes on to say that, “Taken together, we believe that an increasing number of cleared personnel – that is, personnel who hold or have held security clearances – have or will have dementia.”

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., who has access to more classified information than most other members of Congress due to his leadership position, recently had two incidents in which he froze up on camera. He literally stopped talking and stared blankly forward for about 30 seconds.

Senator Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., who serves on the Senate Intelligence Committee, appeared to forget her multi-month absence and needed to be told how to vote.

At 80, President Joe Biden is the oldest person to hold the Oval Office in U.S. history, and several public gaffes and stumbles have made his mental and physical fitness a hotly debated topic as he runs for re-election in 2024.

In what many are calling blatant government overreach, Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey banned single-use plastic bottles.

Healey’s ban follows the ill-advised gun ban by New Mexico’s Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham. And California Governor Gavin Newsom’s attempt to ban gasoline-powered vehicles over the next several years.

The Joe Biden regime has talked about banning gas stoves, gas generators and ceiling fans. He’s already banned the incandescent lightbulb.

Grisham’s ban was rejected by the New Mexico citizenry, local law enforcement agencies, and a federal judge. Republicans are reportedly moving to impeach the embattled governor. 

Massachusetts’ Healey announced her ban by saying, “In government, we have an obligation to stop contributing to this damage and chart a better path forward,” according to the Boston Globe.

The governor added: “So we are proud to become the first state to adopt a procurement ban on single-use plastic bottles.”

Healey’s decision was hailed by participants at the Clinton Global Initiative conference. In recognition of New York’s “Climate Week” Healey was invited to be a conference speaker and to share that she would be signing an executive order later this week banning state agencies from purchasing single-use plastic bottles,” according to Fox News.

The governor said the plan is intended to help protect oceans and the climate.

Haven’t we heard that before? Everything is supposedly done to fix the climate.

I think that cover story coming from these Democrat governors is getting old.

Can’t they come up with a better excuse for enacting tyrannical dictates, telling us what products we can and can’t use?

I mean, they could at least be a little more creative with their lies.
