Good evening and welcome to the Worldview Report.

We have some shocking new data out this week that suggests a dramatic demographic shift is underway in America. And this information is not coming from a rightwing or conservative group. 

The Daily Mail reports that a liberal think tank has underscored America's massive demographic shift since the start of the Covid pandemic, with millions more Spanish-speaking residents as the white population tumbled.

The Hispanic population grew by 3.2 million from April 2020 to July 2023, as the number of white people fell by 2.1 million — the result of immigration and birth and death rates, says a Brookings Institution study.

That means Hispanics accounted for 91 percent of U.S. population growth in those three years.

At the same time, the black, Asian, and mixed-race populations grew by hundreds of thousands of people each, while the number of Native Americans expanded by a smaller 23,000.

William Frey, the demographer who wrote the report, says a “diversity explosion” is reshaping the nation.

Frey urged policymakers to ensure schools, colleges and businesses were ready for these shifts.

While these changes were welcomed by the report, the demographic shift is a concern for some white and other Americans, who worry that the country is losing its character and becoming too diverse.

In social media responses to the study, critics said the U.S. was “quietly becoming a third-world country” and that the shift was due to mass illegal immigration across America's loose southern border.

Some, including tech entrepreneur Elon Musk, say Democrats encourage people-flows from South America as part of a great replacement of whites in a bid to secure election victories over the coming decades.

The New York Post reports that a key ingredient in rocket fuel can be found in a wide array of foods we eat, especially baby food, fast food and fresh fruits and vegetables, according to an explosive new investigation from Consumer Reports.

Perchlorate, a chemical used in the production of rocket fuel and fireworks, has been linked to thyroid problems in adults and brain damage in fetuses and newborns.

Consumer Reports found the chemical in about 67% of the nearly 200 samples of supermarket and fast-food items it tested.

The consumer-advocate publication wrote in its August 7 report:

“We found the highest perchlorate levels in certain fast foods and produce items, but concerningly, the category with the highest average level of perchlorate was baby and kid foods. Some of the baby and kid foods we tested that had the highest levels of perchlorate could quickly add up to a concerning amount.”

The levels ranged from just over 2 to 79 parts per billion — not enough to be immediately hazardous, but they could add up to be dangerous.

Foods in plastic containers clocked the highest levels (nearly 54 ppb on average) while children’s food came in at 19.4 ppb, followed by fruits and vegetables, fast food, baked goods, dairy, meats, seafood and beverages.

Consumer Reports said these tests did not reveal why certain foods had higher levels of perchlorate, but researchers submit that the plastics of packaged goods could be to blame. Fresh produce, meanwhile, may become contaminated with perchlorate if it is irrigated with contaminated water. 

Some medical experts suggest that if you do eat a lot of fresh vegetables, you should make sure they are cleaned and then thoroughly cooked.

The White House is reportedly seeking information on the objectives of a secret Ukrainian invasion of Russia after Russian officials claimed that about 1,000 Ukrainian soldiers have launched a major cross-border attack that has entered its third day.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said Wednesday the U.S. was looking into the reports of the surprise Ukrainian attack inside Russia’s Kursk region and reaching out to its allies in Kiev “to learn more about their objectives.”

Ukrainian forces have so far advanced as much as six miles into western Russia, according to the Institute for the Study of War, a Washington-based think tank.

The surprise incursion left Russian President Vladimir Putin scrambling to respond, with Moscow officials claiming Kiev’s army has not made significant advancements and indeed was being driven back.

Russia’s claims could not be independently verified.

Ukraine has said nothing about the goal of the operation, with previous reports indicating that Kiev’s forces made it as far as eight miles over the border to seize Russian settlements in a city that is home to an important pipeline that supplies gas to the rest of Europe.

The Mirror reports that a chilling map shows the state of the world's nuclear arsenal, including which countries own the most nuclear weapons — as worries mount of a Third World War pitting some of the countries with nuclear weapons against each other.

There has been progress made since the Cold War in reducing the world's overall number of nuclear weapons, but the number of such weapons remains incredibly high, with nine nuclear countries possessing a rough total of 12,121 warheads as of early 2024, according to the Federation of American Scientists.

Between them, Russia and the U.S. own a combined 88% of the world's inventory and 84% of the stockpiled warheads for use by the military.

In its analysis of the data, the Federation’s scientists wrote:

“Currently, no other nuclear-armed state sees a need for more than a few hundred nuclear weapons for national security, although many of these states are increasing their nuclear stockpiles.”

The Federation said that while the world's stockpile is still decreasing, the process is slow compared to statistics from the last 30 years, with the U.S. and Russia still slowly dismantling aging warheads. But Russia is replacing the older ones with more modern systems at a much faster rate than the U.S.

The U.S. is reducing its stockpile, and France and Israel's nuclear weapons have remained relatively stable in number, but China, India, North Korea, Pakistan, Russia and the U.K. are increasing their stockpiles.

According to the study’s estimates, Russia comes in first with the number of nuclear weapons it owns, having an estimated 5,580 warheads. The U.S. is second with 5,044. 

After that, China has 500, France has 290, the U.K. has 225, India has 172, Pakistan has 170, Israel has 90 and North Korea has 50.

In his first interview since ending his re-election bid, Joe Biden expressed doubt Wednesday that there would be a peaceful transfer of power if former President Donald Trump loses the 2024 election.

“If Trump wins, no, I’m not confident at all,” Biden told CBS News Sunday Morning before quickly catching himself and reversing his position, saying:

“I mean if Trump loses I’m not confident at all.”

The taped interview will air in its entirety on Sunday.

FBI agents and State Police on Wednesday descended on the home of Scott Ritter, a former United Nations weapons inspector who in June had his passport seized by the U.S. Department of State as he attempted to fly to Russia for a conference.

The Times Union reports that shortly before noon, marked State Police vehicles and unmarked law enforcement cars lined up near Ritter’s home in Bethlehem, NY. Just before 5 p.m., authorities carried more than two dozen boxes out of the house.

After the agents and officers drove away, Ritter emerged from the home and briefly spoke with reporters. Dressed in shorts and a T-shirt with an image of the character Inigo Montoya from the 1987 fairy tale comedy “Princess Bride” on it, Ritter said the investigators were there to execute a search warrant “related to concerns apparently the U.S. government has about violations of the Foreign Agents Registration Act.” That federal law requires individuals and entities that represent foreign interests in the United States to register with the Department of Justice and disclose their activities. 

Ritter said the search warrant allowed agents to look for electronic equipment in his home, noting that:

“They were clearly interested in communications that I’ve had with people related to the work that I do. That’s all I can say about it. It’s up to them to review it.”

Ritter maintains an active online presence, writing articles critical of U.S. foreign policy toward Russia and appearing on podcasts friendly to his views.

He said he has nothing to hide and that he cooperated with investigators, adding:

“There’s no doubt that I’m being targeted because of statements I’ve made about U.S. policy in Ukraine. I’m being targeted because I have made an effort to try and improve relations between the United States and Russia to bring about arms control, to bring about peace.”

A powerful earthquake measuring magnitude 7.1 has hit off southern Japan with a tsunami advisory issued.

The warning was put in place for the coastal parts of two islands in the south on Thursday afternoon local time, according to the Japan Meteorological Agency.

The earthquake occurred less than 20 miles off the coast of Japan, according to the United States Geological Survey, at 4:43 pm local time at a depth of 17 miles, according to The Japan Times.

A tsunami forecast, warning of the possibility of changes in sea level, was issued for a wider area.

An Ohio law that bans trans athletes in youth sports and bans transgender treatments for kids can now take effect after a judge struck down a challenge by the American Civil Liberties Union.

The bill, which originally passed the Ohio House and Senate on December 13, 2023, makes it illegal in Ohio for healthcare professionals to perform gender-affirming surgeries or prescribe puberty blockers or other treatments that permanently castrate patients under the age of 18.

Ohio’s RINO Republican Governor, Mike DeWine, vetoed the bill, citing absurd concerns that it would do more harm to transgendered children than it may spare for others. 

But Republican super-majorities control both houses of the state legislature and DeWine’s veto was overridden at the end of January.

His ruling makes the law take effect — though the ACLU has vowed to appeal the decision.

Physicians that violate the new law may face the removal of their medical license. Sports leagues or schools that do so could lose major state funding.

Former President Donald Trump had another person try to kill him, The Western Journal reports.

Texas police arrested a woman who they suspected was planning to try and assault the former president. Her arrest comes after Trump narrowly escaped being assassinated at his Butler, Pennsylvania rally on July 13.

The announcement of the arrest was made on Friday, August 3, by the Washington Metropolitan Police Department.

Christina Montoya was charged with Carrying a Pistol without a License, Possession of an Unregistered Firearm, and Threats Against a Former President.

The statement did not provide much information but did mention that authorities were tipped off by the 41-year-old’s reported intentions. It said police “received information regarding a woman who traveled to Washington, D.C.”

The police report stated that authorities arrested Montoya less than a mile from the Capitol and 3 miles from the White House. At the time of her arrest, she had a loaded pistol on her.

Fortunately, Trump was nowhere near the D.C. area, as he was in the Hamptons on Friday.

As noted by Resist the Mainstream, “the latest events show the grim reality that Trump has made a lot of enemies both domestically and internationally. Before he announced running for office in 2015, the world seemed to love him. He has now become public enemy number one among politicians and Hollywood, with many making bold threats about his death. Trump is also targeted by the media, which has not only spread hateful rhetoric towards the former president but downplayed the attempts on his life.”

Countless clips from the media have been shared across social media with news media outlets telling their viewers that Trump needs to be shot or killed, portraying him as a “threat to democracy.” The media will continue its biased coverage of Trump and that’s making him a target.

In fact, a Pakistani man was charged Tuesday for plotting to assassinate several political figures, including Trump.  This will not be the last attempt on Trump’s life.

Facial recognition technology will soon be enabled at every security checkpoint inside the United Arab Emirates’ main international airport in Abu Dhabi. This will be a global first, CNN reported.

The Smart Travel project, now being implemented inside the futuristic flight hub serving the capital of the wealthy oil sheikdom, will replace the traditional screening process. Air travelers will no longer be whipping out travel documents, like a passport, driver’s license or other ID card.

The new technology will also be implemented at duty-free shops, lounges and boarding gates.

Cash and credit cards will soon no longer be accepted at the airport in this Islamic kingdom.

The goal is to have the biometric digital ID concept — which has attracted much controversy here in the United States — fully running in 2025 at nine UAE locations.

Some parts of the airport have already incorporated the technology, as has Abu Dhabi’s hometown air carrier.

This same technology is already installed in most of the major airports in the United States, Canada and across the E.U. It’s mostly voluntary but will no doubt eventually be mandatory, blocking access to those who refuse to submit to the digitization of their identities.

Breitbart News reports that Vice President Kamala Harris indicated Wednesday that she would be open to discussing an arms embargo against Israel in exchange for the support of the so-called “uncommitted” movement of Muslim and Arab voters in Michigan.

The New York Times reported that before her rally in Detroit, Vice President Kamala Harris spoke briefly with the co-founders of the Uncommitted National Movement, “which mobilized tens of thousands of voters in Michigan to withhold their votes from President Biden in the primary earlier this year over his support for Israel’s war in Gaza. Abbas Alawieh and Layla Elabed said they were in the welcoming line for Harris and Governor Walz, and communicated to Harris that they wanted to support her but that voters wanted her to consider an arms embargo to immediately stop the carnage in the besieged enclave.”

Harris reportedly sat and listened to stories of Palestinians living in Michigan who have had family members killed in Gaza. The leaders asked to meet with her about the embargo request, and she indicated she was open to it, and introduced the two leaders to her staff.

Later, Harris was heckled by pro-Palestinian protesters during her speech.

The protesters, some wearing Muslim hijabs, chanted: “Kamala, Kamala, you can’t hide. We won’t vote for genocide.”

Harris responded twice — first by trying to appease the hecklers, saying their voices were welcome in “democracy”; then by scolding them, telling them they were going to help Trump win.

Harris had attempted to keep the anti-Israel — and antisemitic — wing of her party pacified by declining to pick Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro as her running mate. Shapiro is Jewish and had volunteered to serve a year in the IDF when he was 20 years old. This made him anathema to the Jew-hating pro-Hamas wing of the party, so Harris chose Minnesota Governor Tim Walz instead.

But she’s already finding out that she won’t be able to satisfy these seething antisemites until every last Jew is cleansed from Israel.
