A decorated Green Beret who allegedly took his own life on New Year’s Day and triggered an explosion in a Tesla Cybertruck in Las Vegas was involved in a counseling program designed for special operations troops involved in high-risk operations, the Washington Times reports.

Army Master Sgt. Matthew Livelsberger signed up for the Preservation of the Force and Family program, an initiative established in 2010 by the U.S. Special Operations Command, according to an Army public affairs officer, who said Saturday:

“He did not display any concerning behaviors at the time, and was granted personal leave. All relevant records were provided to the FBI as the lead investigative agency.”

Law enforcement officials in Las Vegas said the evidence indicates that Sgt. Livelsberger, a veteran of multiple combat tours, had post-traumatic stress disorder when he pulled up to the Trump International Hotel on New Year’s Day and set off the explosives.

Investigators recovered a cellphone that offered clues as to a possible motive. Sgt. Livelsberger used a note-taking app to document his thoughts about political and personal grievances. Assistant Sheriff Dori Koren of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department read part of the journal aloud during a press conference. It stated:

“We are the United States of America, the best country [and] people to ever exist, but right now, we are terminally ill and headed towards collapse. This was not a terrorist attack. It was a wake-up call. Americans only pay attention to spectacles and violence. What better way to get my point across than a stunt with fireworks and explosives?”

The Green Beret wrote that the U.S. was led by “feckless” government officials concerned only with accumulating wealth and power.

A powerful winter storm is set to sweep through the nation’s capital, potentially delivering the heaviest snowfall seen since January 2022, or even as far back as 2019.

This looming weather event threatens to disrupt Monday’s planned certification of the 2024 presidential election results.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for Washington, D.C., effective from 10:00 PM Sunday until 1:00 AM Tuesday, forecasting heavy mixed precipitation and urging residents to avoid travel during this period.

The storm was expected to commence late Sunday night, intensifying through the day Monday and into Tuesday with snowfall rates reaching 1 to 3 inches per hour.

Total snow and sleet accumulations are anticipated to range between 5 and 10 inches, with isolated areas possibly receiving up to 12 inches.

The severe weather is likely to impact aviation and render roads impassable, posing significant challenges for the Monday morning and evening commutes.

The timing couldn’t be more consequential, with the heaviest snowfall forecasted during the Monday morning commute—the very day Congress is set to certify the presidential election results.

Reports have emerged that several members of Congress have already fled the capital over the weekend, defying advisories to remain in D.C.

Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), one of President Trump’s staunchest allies, took to X to lambast her colleagues.

“January 6th at 1:00 pm Congress must certify President Trump’s historic election,” Greene declared in a fiery tweet.

“Washington has a winter storm warning for Jan 5-7th expecting possibly a foot of snow. Many members of Congress left town this weekend even though they were told to stay. I’m here and will walk to the Capitol if I have to.”

In a significant regulatory shift that took place quietly the day after Christmas, the Biden administration finalized new climate rules targeting natural gas-powered water heaters. The Department of Energy, which traditionally issues a press release for such regulations, chose not to announce these changes publicly, raising eyebrows across various sectors.

According to the Free Beacon, the new regulations aim to reduce carbon emissions, a move aligned with broader climate-change mitigation efforts. However, the regulations are set to remove approximately 40% of the current tankless water heater models from the market by 2029. This shift is expected to force consumers to opt for either more expensive or less efficient alternatives.

An industry analysis forecasts that the average cost increase for new water heaters due to the regulations will be around $450. This price hike is poised to disproportionately affect low-income and senior households, who are among the most reliant on the more affordable models currently targeted for phase-out.

Meanwhile, the timing of these regulations is noteworthy, coming in the wake of President-elect Donald Trump's electoral victory over Kamala Harris. Trump has expressed intentions to roll back many of Biden's climate initiatives to bolster energy production and stimulate economic growth. 

This regulatory push on water heaters is part of a series of actions targeting household appliances, including gas stoves and refrigerators, aimed at reducing carbon emissions and promoting electric alternatives.

It will be interesting to see how many, if any, of these tyrannical curbs on consumer freedoms live on under the Trump administration.

Speaking of curbs on freedom, starting on Sunday, all cars, SUVs, small vans, and pickup trucks entering Manhattan below 60th Street are going to have to pay a fee of up to $9 for the privilege. It’s what they call a congestion fee and it’s the first of its kind in the United States of America.

City officials implemented the plan, which will disproportionately affect low-income New Yorkers, to fund highly ambitious upgrades to the city's transportation infrastructure. 

While the standard fare will be set at $9, the Metropolitan Transit Authority has provided a detailed plan with pricing levels that vary based on vehicle type and time of entry. Between 9pm and 5am on weekdays and 9pm to 9am on weekends, that $9 fare drops to $2.25 for drivers of cars, SUVs, small vans and pickups, while small trucks and buses will pay $14.40 during peak hours, and $2.25 during non-peak hours.

Motorcycles will pay $4.50 during peak hours and $1.04 during non-peak times.

They call this congestion pricing. It’s been a big failure everywhere it’s been tried, including the city of London in the U.K.

New York City Councilman Joseph Borelli, a Republican representing Staten Island’s south shore, has made a case that the implementation of congestion pricing in London has been a “complete disaster” and has only made gridlock on that city’s streets far worse.

But it’s not about easing gridlock.

This is nothing but a warmed-over carbon tax and a mode of control over our freedom of movement.

The fee even applies to ridesharing vehicles such as Ubers.

Basically, it's a power grab and a revenue-raising scheme for the state, and in 2028, the fares will go up, subject to the governor's and MTA's approval.

For that reason, look for other large cities to roll out the same communist scheme. Be on the lookout for something similar coming to a city near you in 2025.

President-elect Donald Trump trounced Democrat Kamala Harris on his way to a historic landslide victory on November 5, and Democrats have been fairly quiet about why or how that happened.

But Senator Chuck Schumer broke his silence and came out with a preposterous, even laughable reason for why his party lost the election to Trump and the Republicans.

The voters just didn’t realize how many wonderful things Democrats had done for them, he said.

So, they just didn’t talk enough about how great they are. If they just talk more about their great achievements for the working class, they think those voters will return to them. Good luck with that. I think the voters are on to you, Chuck. They realize your entire campaign was built on lies. It’s not that you didn’t talk enough, it’s that you didn’t deliver enough. And people aren’t stupid. They know when their working wages aren’t keeping up with inflation and they know why that is, when the border is open to every Tom, Dick and Harry to come and take their job and other jobs are shipped overseas. 

It's really not rocket science and Americans are finally starting to figure it out.

A Canadian farm producing insects for the nation’s human food supply has been forced to slash its workforce due to low demand for its products.

Slay News reports that the cricket farm in London, Ontario, run by the Aspire Food Group, is struggling financially, despite receiving $8.5 million in taxpayer cash from the Liberal Canadian government.

The workforce reduction at the facility appears to be a sign that Canadians do not have an appetite for insect larvae and meal worms.

After receiving millions in tax dollars from the federal government to raise crickets for human and pet consumption, the company has now laid off two-thirds of its staff. 

The news comes after the cricket farm broke ground on a new 150,000-square-foot facility last year.

The company said it was cutting shifts and going from 150 workers to just 50.

In comments made to the trade news outlet AgFunderNews, Aspire Food CEO David Rosenberg said the facility’s layoffs are due to “improvements to its manufacturing system.”  

The fact that the company is already cutting costs dramatically comes only a short time after Canada’s federal government, under Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, contributed $8.5 million to it in 2022.

The federal government uses more than 20 technologies to target Americans with warrantless surveillance, and most of it is funded illegally by the CIA’s In-Q-Tel front group, in clear violation of the Fourth Amendment.

Derrick Broze has the story at The Last American Vagabond.

He reports that three federal law enforcement agencies under the Department of Homeland Security could be doing more to ensure Americans’ privacy is protected from the federal government’s use of numerous surveillance technologies. Current efforts by the DHS are falling short of protecting Americans from biased technology and violations of civil liberties, according to a recently released report by the U.S. Government Accountability Office.

The report examined technologies which the agencies own and/or have agreements to search or view databases operated by third parties. In fiscal year 2023, the DHS used more than 20 types of detection, observation, and monitoring technologies, such as drones, facial recognition, and automatic license plate readers. Each of these technologies currently operate without the need for a warrant approved by a judge.

The authors of the report make five specific recommendations for the DHS, such as encouraging the agency to develop policies and procedures to assess and address bias risks for the surveillance technologies.

The GAO report, titled DHS Could Better Address Bias Risk and Enhance Privacy Protections for Technologies Used in Public, focused on the Customs and Border Patrol (CBP), Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and the Secret Service. The GAO said they focused on these agencies because of the large number of law enforcement officers within them.

The GAO took up this investigation due to federal law enforcement agencies’ increasing use of technologies like automated license-plate readers and drones. The authors acknowledge that “the use of these technologies in public spaces,” where a warrant is not required, has led to concerns about how law enforcement is protecting civil rights, civil liberties, and privacy.

Republican Michigan lawmakers are outraged at the state’s Department of Natural Resources over its plans to chop down over 400 acres of trees to build a solar panel farm that will occasionally generate electricity.

The Michigan Department of Natural Resources wants to destroy a forest in Otsego County to install rows of Chinese-made solar panels.

WSJM reported:

“Republican State Representative Ken Borton of Gaylord and others are upset with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources over a plan to destroy more than 400 acres of forest, located just west of Gaylord, to clear the way for the solar panels. Borton says there should be mass firings at the DNR over it.”

These solar panels leach toxins into the soil over time, rendering it unusable as farmland decades into the future.

Borton told WSJM:

“I’m hearing from many of my Democrat friends, people who believe in climate change, that they realize that for them to cut all these trees down is absolutely going the wrong way.”

Similar massive solar farms are being proposed in other states as well.

Solar farms and data centers are the hot new trend in the realm of economic development despite the fact that they create very few jobs while eating up massive amounts of land, water and other resources. They are also not nearly as eco-friendly as advertised.

The Populist Times reports that U.S.-born citizens accounted for just 16% of our country’s overall population growth in 2024, according to data from the Census Bureau. Between 2023 and 2024, the U.S. population grew by 1.0% to reach 340.1 million, the highest growth rate since 2000.

However, international migration accounted for 2.8 million of the 3.3 million net increase in population, or 84%. 

The year before, between 2022 and 2023, migration accounted for 1.7 million of the 2.3 million increase, or 73.9%.

Kristie Wilder, a demographer in the Census Bureau’s Population Division, stated:

“An annual growth rate of 1.0% is higher than what we’ve seen over recent years but well within historical norms. What stands out is the diminishing role of natural increase over the last five years, as net international migration has become the primary driver of the nation’s growth.”

So, you want to know why your local school district is making you pay for new schools, or why your county commission is asking for more of your heard-earned dollars to build a new jail or courthouse? Look no further than our country’s out-of-control immigration policy, and that includes legal immigration as well as illegal.

The country recorded the lowest population growth (0.16%) rate during the pandemic when international travel was banned, and thus less migration. Ironically, the number of births also increased during the same period, but as deaths surged, the net natural increase was just 146,000.

“There was a brief uptick in births from 2021 to 2022, but rates returned to their downward trend in 2023,” the Census Bureau reported.

Time now for our nightly Worldview Report commentary.

Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates is rolling out a plan to use Africans as guinea pigs for an expanded series of new genetically altering mRNA injections.

He calls them vaccines but we know they are not vaccines, at least not in the traditional meaning of the word. U.S. courts have even ruled that mRNA serums don’t qualify as vaccines.

The Covid vaccines, the first to use this technology, have been an unmitigated disaster.

But that hasn’t stopped Gates from pushing more of these gene-based jabs on the world.

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has announced a $40 million initiative to support the production of messenger mRNA vaccines in Africa.

Gates’ foundation claims this investment will address what it refers to as “vaccine inequities” exposed during the COVID-19 pandemic.

During that pandemic, African nations were often the last to receive Covid jabs. It worked to their benefit as fewer Africans died of Covid, per capita than Westerners.

Yet, the power of money never ceases and so Gates presses on in his efforts to vaccinate the world against every disease imaginable. And Africa will be ground zero for the plan.

Gates and his foundation hope to expand the testing of the mRNA injections on Africans before they are rolled out globally.

The funding will aid several manufacturers, including Senegal’s Pasteur Institute, in developing mRNA injections for the people of Africa.

Bill Gates emphasized the potential of mRNA technology to combat diseases like Rift Valley fever and tuberculosis while building Africa’s capacity for vaccine development.

Of course, no one is raising the question of why sub-Saharan African populations generally fared better than European, American, and Asian populations during the Covid pandemic. If the vaccines had worked, it should have been the opposite, because it was the African nations that were far less vaccinated with the Covid injection that the populations in North America and Europe. 

The bottom line is this: The more one can stay away from Bill Gates and his toxic mRNA jabs, the better their chances of living a healthy and normal life.

Gates is driven by profit and by his insatiable desire to depopulate the world. Only a government that truly hates its own people would unleash on them Bill Gates and his poisonous death jabs.
