Bloomberg is reporting that the Biden regime is warning states to be on guard for cyberattacks against water systems, citing ongoing threats from hackers linked to the governments of Iran and China.

Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Michael Regan and National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan wrote a letter to governors made public Tuesday.

The letter states:

“Disabling cyberattacks are striking water and wastewater systems throughout the United States. These attacks have the potential to disrupt the critical lifeline of clean and safe drinking water, as well as impose significant costs on affected communities.”

Hackers affiliated with the Iranian Government Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps have attacked drinking water systems, while a Chinese government-sponsored group, Volt Typhoon, has compromised information technology of drinking water and other critical infrastructure systems, the letter warned, stating:

“Federal departments and agencies assess with high confidence that Volt Typhoon actors are pre-positioning themselves to disrupt critical infrastructure operations in the event of geopolitical tensions and/or military conflicts.”

The drinking water system is an especially vulnerable part of U.S. infrastructure, plagued by weak oversight, insufficient funding and staffing shortages, Bloomberg reports. The EPA is the lead federal agency for ensuring the nation’s water sector is defended against all threats and hazards.

Speaking of threats to our critical infrastructure, former Congressman and presidential candidate Ron Paul stated in an interview with Tucker Carlson that he is expecting a “Black Swan event” in the near future.

Such an event could be a false flag attack of some type, or something that causes a run on the banks.

Whatever it is, when Ron Paul predicts it, we should pay attention.

Newsweek reports that Oklahoma's National Guard is set to be deployed for the upcoming total solar eclipse, when as many as 100,000 people are expected to visit one county.

In a statement issued Tuesday, March 19, the guard said it would assist emergency management to cope with “an unprecedented number of tourists” on April 8 in McCurtain County, in the southeast of the state.

The guard will provide first responders as well as units with hazmat response capabilities in case of an incident like an industrial fire.

Lt. Col Jabonn Flurry, commander of the 63rd Civil Support Team, said the influx of visitors “has the potential to overtax local resources.”

McCurtain County contains the city of Idabel, which NASA has predicted will be among the 13 best spots in the country to see the total eclipse when it occurs. The total eclipse—when the sun is completely shrouded by the moon—is due to begin at 1:45 p.m. CT (2:40 p.m. ET) there and end at 1:49 p.m.

With the spectacle expected to draw crowds across the nation to areas in the eclipse's path, officials are already voicing concern about stretched public safety resources, while some schools plan to close for the day, citing student safety.

At least four states on the eclipse's trajectory have urged residents to stock up on groceries and gas ahead of its occurrence, as traffic is expected to overwhelm local roads. The Federal Highway Administration has also warned that increased traffic to remote areas could lead to unsafely parked vehicles and the potential for wildfires in areas with dry vegetation.

The Defender reports that the Federal Communications Commission has launched a new voluntary cybersecurity labeling program for so-called SMART products connected to the Internet of Things.

According to the FCC, the program will incentivize companies to sell products that meet high cybersecurity standards while helping consumers make informed purchasing decisions.

But according to Odette Wilkens, a technology attorney, the program may give consumers a false sense of cybersecurity. That’s because, according to Wilkens, “the cybersecurity danger may not lurk within the products but within the signal being used by the wireless services that may be hacked.”

Under the FCC program, wireless Internet of Things products — such as home security cameras, voice-activated shopping devices, fitness trackers and baby monitors — will bear a U.S. Cyber Trust Mark logo on their packaging if they meet the FCC’s “robust cybersecurity standards.”

The logo will be accompanied by a QR code that consumers can scan for the product’s security details, such as the support period for the product and whether the product carries automatic security updates.

Wilkens, who also is president and general counsel for the nonprofit Wired Broadband Inc., which advocates for hard-wired, high-speed internet, said the FCC shouldn’t just put a cybersecurity label on products — it should also label the wireless services.

Otherwise, Wilkens added, “the consumer will be deceived into thinking that a cybersecurity label on the product means that the wireless services activated through those products carrying their personal data are also safe, when they may not be.”

This is especially true as the rollout of 5G is underway, Wilkens said. She pointed to a 2022 report co-authored by former FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler who coined the term, “the 5G Cyber Paradox” — meaning the more efficient 5G is, the less secure it is.

“5G is more hackable given the thousands of 5G nodes being installed, thereby increasing the surface area for hackers,” Wilkens said, “It’s software-based — a hacker gaining access to one node potentially gains access to the whole system. 4G and 3G are hardware-based systems, making it easier to quarantine a security breach.”

The Attorney General for Washington, D.C., has dropped charges against Steve Nikoui, the father of a veteran killed in the 2021 Afghanistan withdrawal who disrupted the State of the Union address.

Nikoui attended the State of the Union as a guest of Florida GOP Rep. Brian Mast, Fox News reported. He interrupted Joe Biden's speech by yelling “Abbey Gate!” before he was removed from the chamber. He was subsequently arrested by Capitol Police.

D.C. Attorney General Brian Schwalb's office confirmed to Fox that it had opted against pursuing a case against Nikoui.

His son, Kareem, died during the 2021 American withdrawal from Afghanistan that marked a chaotic end to the 20-year American presence after 9/11. Abbey Gate appears to be a reference to the location where his son died, alongside 12 other troops in Kabul, according to the New York Times.

You heard him. More than 4,000 have been released from Haiti’s prisons. And yes, he said some of the Haitian gangs are involved in cannibalism.

If precedent is any indication, I think the U.S. missionaries in Haiti will not be the top priority for the Biden regime. Look how they treated our own military in the retreat from Afghanistan. We need to pray for these missionaries, that help does arrive in one form or another.

The U.S. Justice Department is reportedly considering a plea deal that will permit Julian Assange to plead guilty to a lesser charge of mishandling classified information. If finalized, the deal could finally allow the embattled journalist to walk free after many years of being imprisoned in Britain, according to the Wall Street Journal reports.

The WikiLeaks founder has faced a years-long battle against the British and U.S. governments to avoid being extradited to the U.S. to be put on trial after he allegedly published thousands of records about U.S. actions in Afghanistan and Iraq that embarrassed the U.S. military in 2010 and 2011.

Keep in mind that Assange never stole, hacked or otherwise illegally came into possession of these documents. They were sent to him by a third party, Bradley Manning, who was convicted and served a seven-year prison term.

Assange has been in a London prison since 2019, the same year U.S. prosecutors moved to charge him under a U.S. espionage law.

Assange is not a American citizen so accusations of “treason” are also baseless.

DOJ officials and attorneys for Assange have reportedly held talks in recent months about what a plea deal may end up looking like in order to end the lengthy legal battles.

Russian intelligence has alleged that France is preparing a military contingent of 2,000 troops to be deployed on the ground in Ukraine and these troops will be “prioritized” for destruction. The claim was made by the Director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service on Tuesday.

He stated to the Russian news agency TASS that the French military “fears that such a large military unit cannot be transferred and stationed in Ukraine unnoticed. It will thus become a legitimate priority target for attacks by the Russian armed forces. This means that it will suffer the fate of all the French who have ever come to the Russian world with a sword.”

Moscow has in recent months claimed its forces took out French mercenaries in Kharkiv. 

The Russian intelligence director didn't elaborate further or offer anything in the way of verification or proof, but it comes after French President Emmanuel Macron sparked fierce debate in Europe last month by telling allies they shouldn't rule out sending Western troops to Ukraine. “Nothing should be excluded,” Macron said. “We will do everything that we must so that Russia does not win.”

In the latest proof of the power of a Donald Trump endorsement, Bernie Moreno handily won a bitter, three-way battle for the GOP's Ohio Senate nomination on Tuesday. He now advances to the November election, in which the Bogota, Columbia-born businessman hopes to unseat Sen. Sherrod Brown. The primary outcome is pleasing to many Democrats, who think Moreno is the easier general-election opponent. 

Trump made a surprise visit to Ohio over the weekend to give car-dealer and blockchain entrepreneur Moreno a final boost across the finish line -- but it doesn't look like he needed it. 

With 94% of the votes tallied, Moreno had 50.5% of the vote, compared to just 32.9% for Ohio state Sen. Matt Dolan and 16.6% for Ohio Secretary of State Frank La Rose. Dolan was the establishment pick, wielding endorsements from Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and former Senator Rob Portman. 

Dolan, the son of the owner of Major League Baseball’s Cleveland Guardians, also outspent Trump to no avail.

Yemen's Houthis have claimed responsibility for a cruise missile launched from the Red Sea which landed in Israel near the city of Eilat, in what marks the first time a projectile fired from the Iranian-backed group has struck Israel's territory.

The Iran-aligned Houthis have repeatedly launched drones and missiles at international commercial shipping in the region since November, in what they say is in solidarity with Palestinians against Israel's military operation in Gaza.

Previously, missiles and drones fired from Yemen had hit neighboring countries or were intercepted by air defenses.

Israel Defense Forces said on Tuesday it had tracked a “suspicious aerial target” which it confirmed was a cruise missile, The Times of Israel reported. No damage or injuries were caused.

Approximately 95% of nonorganic strawberries, leafy greens such as spinach and kale, collard and mustard greens, grapes, peaches and pears tested by the United States government contained detectable levels of pesticides, according to the 2024 Shopper’s Guide to Pesticides in Produce.

Nectarines, apples, bell and hot peppers, cherries, blueberries and green beans rounded out the list of the 12 most contaminated samples of produce. It’s dubbed the “Dirty Dozen” by the Environmental Working Group, or EWG, an environmental and health advocacy organization that has produced the annual report since 2004.

Pesticides have been linked in studies to preterm births, congenital malformations such as neural tube defects, spontaneous abortions and an increase in genetic damage in humans. Exposure to pesticides has also been associated with lower sperm concentrations, heart disease, cancer and other disorders.

Farmworkers who use or are exposed to pesticides are at highest risk, according to studies. A 2022 meta-analysis found workers exposed to pesticides were nearly five times as likely to have DNA damage while a February study found children exposed at an early age showed poorer neurodevelopment from infancy to adolescence.

It’s not all bad news. Avocados, sweet corn, pineapples, onions and papayas led the “Clean Fifteen” list of conventionally grown produce with the least amount of trace pesticides — nearly 65% of the fruits and veggies in that grouping had no detectable pesticide residues, according to the report released Wednesday.

Rounding out the “Clean Fifteen” were frozen sweet peas, asparagus, honeydew melons, kiwis, cabbage, watermelons, mushrooms, mangoes, sweet potatoes and carrots.

Breitbart reports that more than 140 House Democrats are demanding that the government have the ability to bar military veterans from buying or owning firearms under certain circumstances.

They want gun bans added back to the Military Construction, Veterans Affairs and Related Agencies Appropriations Act.

For decades, the VA has been reporting veterans to the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) for mental issues, and such issues include using a fiduciary to manage one’s VA benefits, Breitbart reports.

But this year, the Clinton-era gun ban was rolled back in the Senate by an amendment put forward by Senator John Kennedy (R-LA).

Following the adoption of his amendment, Kennedy said, “Unelected bureaucrats shouldn’t be able to strip veterans of their Second Amendment rights unilaterally. The Senate did the right thing for veterans and all freedom-loving Americans by passing my amendment today.”

Democrats in the House are crying foul and demanding the gun ban be added back into the appropriations bill.

Democrats don’t want our veterans to have Second Amendment rights. Why? Because they fear veterans might at some point make a stand against the growing tyranny these same Democrats support. Ideally, the way Democrats running our major cities think, the only ones who should have guns are violent criminals, gangs, and of course the private security details that guard Democrat politicians.

Tucker pointed out in that interview that Ron Paul is a figure who predicted many years ago some of the ugliest problems we face today. He saw things coming before they were visible to almost all of the other politicians. Soaring debt, a failing education system, runaway crime, government tyranny, and ever-more deadly foreign wars.

For instance, Ron Paul warned us, 10 years ago, that the Washington Uniparty would use Ukraine to get at Russia and that a lot of people would end up dead as a result. Here he is in 2014.

If only more people had listened to Ron Paul instead of making fun of him, because, if you recall, that’s what the establishment did. He advocated a much more sane foreign policy and the CFR establishment types mocked and belittling him as “isolationist.”
