Ask Dr. John: August 15, 2016

Originally Aired AUGUST 4, 2015

Ask Dr. John with Dr. John Whitcomb. Question: How old is the Earth really? Question: In light of the national news, my pastor recently gave a sermon on God's blessings for America, citing Psalm 33 and 2 Chron. 7:14. What is the proper interpretation of 2 Chron. 7:14? Is there a bridge to apply this verse to today's New Testament church?" Question: Does 2 Cor. 7:10 relate to any responsibility on man's part for repentance, since it seems to relate to an incident other than the salvation of a soul? Question: What does it mean that Jesus is seated at “the right hand of God the Father”? Question: I know that we will be with our saved loved ones in Heaven. What about our beloved dogs and cats? Animals are not responsible for sin. Also, I have heard that whatever you like about earth now will be in the New Earth. I have an atheist friend who refuses to accept Christ unless her dogs will be with her in heaven. Can you please help me from Scripture? Question: How should parents prepare their children to return to school this fall? Question: What should we be praying for in these last days? Topic: We take your calls.
