Blast off on Mission 17-23 of “It’s NOT Rocket Science with Jason Pratt” as we explore the lack of evidence! What? No evidence? If there is an absence of evidence is that evidence of absence? This is the fallacy of negative proof and just because evidence of a particular event or person from Scripture has not been found yet does not mean it does not exist or the event or person were fabricated. Interestingly atheist will endeavor to use this same logical reasoning to claim the their beloved Flying Spaghetti Monster exists and is just as real as our claim to the existence of the God of the Bible. How do we answer this and what people from Scripture were considered made up until additional evidence from other civilizations was found that confirm the Bible and prove the skeptics wrong? What about King Sargon and King David? We’ll launch from the Scripture of 2 Corinthians 10:3-6 as we bring “into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ…” We’ll also shine our Scriptural Scientist Spotlight on British theologian and mathematician John Harris.
