Another former Democrat has come out in support of Donald Trump for president.

Former Democratic Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard on Monday endorsed the GOP presidential nominee during a National Guard conference in battleground Michigan in which she praised Trump for his foreign policy as president.

“I'm committed to doing all that I can to send President Trump back to the White House, where he will once again serve us as our commander in chief,” said the retired ex-Hawaii congresswoman and former Democratic presidential candidate who served in Iraq and Kuwait. 

She said Trump in his first term, “not only didn't start any new wars, he took action to de-escalate wars. ... As we head towards our decision as a country in November, the same cannot be said about Kamala Harris.”

During the conference, Trump mentioned that Monday was the third anniversary of when 13 U.S. service members were killed in a terrorist attack at the Kabul airport during the Afghanistan withdrawal under the Biden administration.

He said the nation suffered a great humiliation “caused by Kamala Harris, Joe Biden,” and that humiliation in Afghanistan “set off the collapse of American credibility and respect, and the fake news doesn't want to talk about it.”

Trump said “America's future is under threat like never before right at this moment. In my opinion, our country's at the most dangerous level it’s ever been.”

He chided Joe Biden for being on vacation as wars are breaking out all over.

“I don't think we've ever been closer to World War III than we are right now. It's a terrible thing. Our country is being destroyed by a radical political class that sends our guardsmen and women to defend the borders of distant foreign nations while they surrender our own borders the likes of which we've never seen before.”

The Russian military pounded Ukrainian energy facilities on Sunday into Monday morning, the defense ministry in Moscow has confirmed. Ukrainian President Zelensky acknowledged the country has experienced one of the most extensive missile barrages in recent months, causing widespread power outages.

In a statement Monday, the Russian defense ministry said “a massive high-precision attack” on Ukraine was carried out using long-range air- and sea-based weapons, as well as drones. The statement said the barrage targeted facilities supporting the country’s defense industrial complex, adding:

“All the designated targets have been hit.”

The ministry said the strikes targeted electrical substations in the Kiev region and eight other regions of Ukraine, as well as gas compressor stations in three regions.

Russia also hit airfields in Kiev and one other region that was storing Western-supplied air munitions, officials said, adding:

“Power outages were detected, and the transportation of weapons and ammunition to the front line was disrupted.”

Zelensky confirmed the attack had targeted critical infrastructure in most regions, calling it “one of the largest combined strikes,” adding that it involved more than a hundred missiles and a hundred drones. The country’s energy minister said emergency blackouts had been activated by the grid operator.

This was Russia’s response to Ukraine’s recent invasion of Russia.

The arrest of Telegram CEO and free-speech advocate Pavel Durov in France over the weekend has many wondering who will be targeted next by the anti-free speech World Economic Forum puppets running the governments in London, Washington, Paris and Berlin? Will it be the operators of Rumble? Will it be an even bigger name like Twitter/X owner Elon Musk? 

Chris Pavlovsky, the CEO of Rumble, posted a statement to X Sunday saying he felt lucky to have gotten out of Europe when he did. He said he has been threatened by French authorities over the free speech he allows on Rumble.

He stated:

“I’m a little late to this, but for good reason — I’ve just safely departed from Europe. France has threatened Rumble, and now they have crossed a red line by arresting Telegram’s CEO, Pavel Durov, reportedly for not censoring speech. Rumble will not stand for this behavior and will use every legal means available to fight for freedom of expression, a universal human right. We are currently fighting in the courts of France, and we hope for Pavel Durov’s immediate release.”

Make no mistake, my friends, the West is imploding and as it implodes, we are seeing the governments of the West moving into full-on authoritarianism.

Authoritarianism always begins with the crackdown on speech and the elimination of your right to defend yourself.

That’s why the First Amendment and the Second Amendment are under direct assault right now in the United States, Canada and the EU.

In fact, the FBI tried to infiltrate Durov’s Telegram app, as Durov explained in an interview four months ago with Tucker Carlson.

So, as you can see, this is about more than just shutting down free speech in Europe. The Western puppet leaders are all in this game together and they’re all moving in the same direction, away from freedom and toward tyranny.

Once you see those two most crucial American freedoms eliminated, the First Amendment and the Second Amendment, you will see the rest of our freedoms fall like a stack of dominoes.

That’s why it’s important that we continue to speak out more boldly than ever during this pivotal point in history, and support free-speech networks like this one.

French President Emmanuel Macron is being widely mocked for his assertion Monday that the arrest of the Russian tech entrepreneur Pavel Durov is not politically motivated. 

Macron said Monday, “The arrest of Telegram's president on French territory took place as part of an ongoing judicial investigation. This is in no way a political decision. It is up to the judges to decide.” Macron further condemned what he called “false information” surrounding the case.

Nassim Nicholas Taleb, who has 1 million X followers, stated:

“Every word he wrote must be interpreted in reverse. This is Orwellian.”

Colin Rugg, owner of Trending Politics, quoted Macron’s statement saying “France is deeply committed to freedom of expression and communication, to innovation, and to the spirit of entrepreneurship.”

Rugg then added: “No one believes this.”

French judicial authorities have extended the detention of the Telegram founder and CEO following his surprise arrest at a French airport on Saturday. 

The list of charges include fraud, drug trafficking, organized crime, terrorism promotion and cyber-bullying on the popular encrypted messaging platform. 

The company said in a fresh statement Monday:

“It is absurd to claim that a platform or its owner are responsible for abuse of that platform.”

They’ve got a point. Have you ever seen Mark Zuckerberg arrested and hauled into court to answer questions about illegal or sketchy business conducted on his platform by Facebook users? Or Instagram users? No. It’s never been done before. 

In fact, ISIS has placed videos about planned terror attacks on Twitter and YouTube and we’ve never seen the owners of those platforms arrested.

They may go after the users but never the owners. Unless you run a platform that’s presented information that these Western governments don’t want their citizenry to have access to. Then you’ve got a problem. Now, suddenly, you’re to be held accountable for the actions of every user on your platform.

The Times of Israel reports that Israel’s National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir sparked an uproar on Monday morning after he again declared that Jewish worshipers have the same rights as Muslim worshipers on the Temple Mount, and agreed that he would establish a synagogue atop the flashpoint site if he could.

The ultranationalist minister, who has made numerous controversial visits to the site since he entered the government, told Army Radio on Monday that Israeli law does not discriminate between the religious rights of Jews and Muslims at the Temple Mount, which is considered the holiest site in Judaism and the third-holiest in Islam.

Ben Givr stated:

“The policies on the Temple Mount allow prayer, period. You are allowed to pray; it’s illegal to prevent you from praying. Why should a Jew be afraid to pray? Because Hamas will be angry?”

He added that:

“The premier knows that when I joined the government, I said in the simplest way that there would be no discrimination at the Temple Mount, just like Muslims can pray at the Western Wall. It’s not like I do everything I want on Temple Mount. If I did everything I wanted on Temple Mount, the Israeli flag would have long been flying there.”

Asked if he would put a synagogue on the site if he could, he answered, “Yes, yes, yes, yes.”

Ben Gvir’s comments sparked an immediate outcry from members of the governing coalition as well as the far-right minister’s political opponents.

Interior Minister Moshe Arbel called on Benjamin Netanyahu to remove the minister from his post overseeing the Israel Police, and warned that Gvir’s “lack of thinking could be paid for in blood.”

He added that Ben Gvir’s “irresponsible comments put into doubt Israel’s strategic alliances with Muslim states as part of an alliance against the evil Iranian axis.”

A public prayer event was held at the Temple Mount on Sunday, in which Ben Gvir did not appear to be involved as he was in past such events.

The worshipers were filmed prostrating themselves on the ground and praying out loud.

In response to Ben Gvir’s comments, Netanyahu issued an oft-repeated statement insisting that there was “no change to the official status quo on the Temple Mount,” but avoided mentioning his ultranationalist coalition partner by name.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott on Monday announced that Texas has removed over 1 million people from the state’s voter rolls, including people who moved out-of-state, are deceased, and are noncitizens. 

That removal process has been, and will continue to be, ongoing in compliance with Senate Bill 1, which Abbott signed into law in 2021.

Abbott said in a press release:
 
“Election integrity is essential to our democracy. I have signed the strongest election laws in the nation to protect the right to vote and to crack down on illegal voting. These reforms have led to the removal of over one million ineligible people from our voter rolls in the last three years, including noncitizens, deceased voters, and people who moved to another state.”

Not only that, but the governor says violators will be prosecuted.

“The Secretary of State and county voter registrars have an ongoing legal requirement to review the voter rolls, remove ineligible voters, and refer any potential illegal voting to the Attorney General’s Office and local authorities for investigation and prosecution. Illegal voting in Texas will never be tolerated. We will continue to actively safeguard Texans’ sacred right to vote while also aggressively protecting our elections from illegal voting.”

The Secret Service’s handling of the failed assassination attempt on president Donald Trump has come under intense scrutiny. 

The July 13 incident in Butler, Pennsylvania, which resulted in the tragic death of a heroic firefighter, has exposed deep-rooted issues within the agency tasked with protecting America’s leaders.

Sources close to the matter have since disclosed to RealClearPolitics (RCP) that the aftermath of the botched security operation has led to an uneven distribution of accountability.

Several members of the Pittsburgh Field Office have been placed on administrative leave, a move typically reserved for misconduct investigations or health-related issues. 

However, in a puzzling twist, agents from Trump’s permanent protective detail who were involved in devising the security plan for the Butler rally remain on active duty.

This discrepancy in treatment has reportedly ignited internal tensions within the Secret Service, per the outlet.

Speculation is rife that the Pittsburgh office might be scapegoated for the security failures, despite indications that responsibility should be more widely shared and much higher up the ladder of the Secret Service power structure.

As you can see from this tweet from Senator Josh Hawley, the Secret Service’s new director has been caught lying to Congress about who approved the plans for the event.

Time now for our Worldview Report commentary.

War correspondent Michael Yon is on site at the UN migration camp at the Darien Gap in Panama, where both the United Nations and the U.S. government are funding mass human migration activities to shuttle migrants from all over the world into the United States.

What kind of government would be marshalling such an extensive human-smuggling operation right as it is preparing to engage Russia and possibly China in a Third World War? 

This proves more than any other fact that we have traitors running the country in Washington. No legitimate government would be inviting and encouraging such an mass migration into the country, knowing it will cause chaos and division during a time of war. It’s widely accepted knowledge that governments typically try to unite their populations against a common enemy when they go to war, not invite millions of foreign nationals whose allegiances they have no way of knowing.

Brighteon’s Mike Adams interviewed Michael Yon about the migrants moving through this UN camp. Yon gave an eyewitness account of people from the Middle East, Europe, Haiti and China, among many South American citizens. 

As part of the interview, Yon said he was able to speak with a Chinese couple (in Mandarin) and confirm their country of origin (mainland China) and their destination (the United States).

If you're wondering why Chinese nationals are pouring through the Darien Gap in Panama, you're not alone. 

Very few Americans are aware of this bombshell story.

Yon said a massive expansion of the camp is underway, helping funnel more migrants across the Darien Gap where they will be transported to the U.S. border to illegally cross into the United States, all with help from the U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security and the Biden administration.

At a time when the U.S. is funding an invasion of Russia through its proxy, Ukraine, it is facilitating an invasion of the United States. No sane government does such a thing.

But no one has ever accused the Biden regime of being sane. They have also drawn down our nation’s Strategic Petroleum Reserves at a time when they should be building it up as the nation prepares for war with Russia and possibly China, Iran and North Korea.

They’ve also introduced vaccine mandates and LGBTQ propaganda within the military ranks, knowing full well these kinds of policies will weaken our defense forces.

They are stoking World War III on the one hand, while preparing to lose it on the other.

If we lived in a real country, that would be a crime.
