Critical Race Theory

Critical Race Theory (CRT) continues to permeate American society and it’s often being carried out in extreme ways.  Just last week, the Daily Caller News Foundation told of a Virginia high school teacher that posted a TikTok video criticizing the state’s disciplinary approach that promotes rules like sitting quietly and following directions.  The video considers these rules as coming from white culture and therefore amount to white supremacy.

Critical race theory and its toxic message is very much in the news but few people know the real impact that it’s having. First up this week is Anna Miller (www.idahofreedom.org), Education Policy Director at the Idaho Freedom Foundation. She explains exactly what CRT looks like when it’s implemented and it’s worse than you think. In an Idaho school system, officials have introduced an equity toolkit to promote social justice and label students and teachers as inherently racist. This is the latest in a long line of totalitarian theories that have pushed into schools to indoctrinate children, but parents are beginning to wake up and push back.

There’s great political tension in America with vitriol at an all-time high.  There’s a divide based upon skin color and the ideology surrounding that as we’ve seen the formation of Antifa and Black Lives Matter.  Family members are rising up against each other.  There’s also a spiritual divide between those who accept the authority of God’s Word and those who don’t. Another issue that has sparked division within all of these areas is something referred to as critical race theory (CRT).

Critical Race Theory is built on the fallacious premise that a color-blind society and riddance of segregative language, i.e., skin-color coded prefixes drawing attention to a distinction based upon invented inequality.
