Good evening and welcome to the Worldview Report.

A coalition of state attorneys general, led by South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson, has launched an investigation into Dr. Anthony Fauci’s handling of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The attorneys demand accountability for Fauci’s mismanagement, purposefully misleading statements, and suppression of scientific debate.

In a letter addressed to Speaker of the House Mike Johnson and Senate Majority Leader John Thune, the attorneys general requested state-level cooperation in investigating any violations of state laws.

Attorney General Wilson stated:

“President Biden’s blanket pardon of Dr. Fauci is a shameful attempt to prevent accountability. If any of these findings indicate violations of state laws, we are fully prepared to take appropriate action to ensure justice is served.”

The pardon by Joe Biden does not extend to state prosecution.

The request for further investigation follows the release of the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic’s final report, which highlights widespread failures and potential misconduct by high-ranking government officials, including Dr. Fauci. The key findings include:

• Origins of Covid-19 – Evidence suggests Dr. Fauci worked to discredit the “lab leak” theory despite mounting evidence supporting it.
• Misleading Congress on NIH Funding – Dr. Fauci appears to have provided false testimony regarding NIH-funded gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China.
• NIH Oversight Failures – The NIH mismanaged taxpayer funds by failing to properly oversee grants to EcoHealth Alliance, which funneled funding to the Wuhan lab. Funds to EcoHealth Alliance came through the rogue agency USAID, which is in the process of being dismantled by the Trump Administration after it was discovered to be funding terrorism.
• Suppression of Scientific Dissent – Prominent scientists who raised concerns about vaccine risks were silenced, limiting public awareness of side effects.

In a related story, Florida Politics reports that Governor Ron DeSantis thinks Joe Biden’s pardon of Anthony Fauci leaves an opening for his soon-to-be Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier to prosecute the doctor for pandemic misdeeds.

DeSantis said at the Yale Federalist Society Saturday, regarding the former Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases:

“We have got a new Attorney General coming in. I think he’s of the mindset to look at this to see what the jurisdictional hooks are, to see what if any statutes may have been violated.”

The Governor said in addition to it being very possible that the new AG in Florida pursues this type of investigation, some other states would also pursue charges, adding:

“So it may end up boomeranging against Fauci,” DeSantis predicted. “Biden intended to shield him from accountability and it may have actually sparked state-based efforts to ensure his accountability.”

Disswire.com reports that Bill Gates is working with the U.S. Department of Defense to integrate genetically modified insects into the food supply, potentially as a step toward reducing traditional meat consumption.

Crickets and grasshoppers are already making their way into the American diet in various forms, including protein bars, shakes, and even restaurant menus.

They are also promoted as sustainable options for pet food and animal feed.

Lax regulations by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have allowed such products to bypass rigorous safety testing.

Many insect-based foods fall under the “Generally Regarded as Safe” (GRAS) category, enabling manufacturers to introduce them to the market with minimal oversight.

Dr. Meryl Nass, founder of Door to Freedom, expressed concerns to The Defender:

“How long will it take before we learn whether these foods are safe? It could take generations.”

In 2012, the Gates Foundation’s Grand Challenges Explorations program funded All Things Bugs, a project aimed at addressing malnutrition in famine-stricken regions through insect-based foods.

Since then, the project has evolved to include the development of genetically modified insects, with additional support from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).

The company has openly stated its use of technologies like CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing to create insects as a new “bioresource.”

DARPA, a research arm of the U.S. Department of Defense, is a key partner in this initiative.

Claire Robinson, managing editor of GMWatch, emphasized the importance of rigorous testing for genetically modified organisms (GMOs), including insects:

“They must be subjected to a pre-marketing risk assessment for health and the environment, including testing for pathogens, allergens, and toxins. Clear labeling for consumers is also essential.”

Bill Gates has been vocal about his investments in alternative proteins, aligning with his vision of a more “sustainable food system.”

Last year, Gates announced his investment in Savor, a company producing butter from air and water.

Additionally, the Gates Foundation awarded $4.76 million to Nature’s Fynd in 2022, a startup that develops fungi-based proteins.

The U.S. government has also joined the insects-as-food movement through initiatives like the National Science Foundation’s (NSF) Center for Environmental Sustainability through Insect Farming (CEIF).

Established in 2021, CEIF focuses on developing methods to use insects as feed for livestock, poultry, and aquaculture.

The introduction of genetically modified insects being put into our food without our consent highlights the contempt they have for us.

A third federal judge has blocked President Trump’s executive order ending birthright citizenship for babies born to migrants while illegally living in the United States.

US District Judge Joseph Laplante, a George W. Bush appointee, granted a preliminary injunction and indefinitely blocked Trump’s birthright citizenship executive order.

CBS News reported that U.S. District Judge Joseph Laplante said at the end of a brief hearing that he would grant the request for a preliminary injunction sought by New Hampshire Indonesian Community Support, LULAC and Make the Road New York. The three groups filed the first federal lawsuit challenging Mr. Trump’s executive order, which he signed on his first day in office.

Laplante said:

“The plaintiff has made the required showing to get a preliminary injunction.”

He is expected to issue a written decision explaining his reasoning by Tuesday.

According to President Trump’s order, the 14th Amendment is being misinterpreted by the left to give citizenship to so-called anchor babies.

Elon Musk said on Monday that his team at the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) discovered that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) sent $59 million last week to luxury hotels in New York City.

The reason? To house illegal aliens.

That’s one week’s worth of illegals’ housing needs in one city at a cost of $59 million.

This expenditure is not only wasteful, it’s fraudulent. These FEMA funds were never earmarked for illegals, not by Congress or the President. In fact, the President issued an executive order saying all available FEMA funds were to be used to help the victims of Hurricane Helene and the LA fires.

Musk said in a post on X:

“Sending this money violated the law and is in gross insubordination to the [United States] President [Donald Trump]'s executive order. That money is meant for American disaster relief and instead is being spent on high-end hotels for illegals.”

He noted that a so-called claw-back demand would be issued to recover these funds.

Trump previously signed an executive order to create a council to review FEMA, stating that he has serious concerns of political bias in the agency.

President Donald Trump announced on Thursday a series of sweeping faith-based initiatives, including a new presidential commission on religious liberty and an executive order targeting anti-Christian bias. 

Speaking at the annual National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C., Trump also said he would reestablish a White House faith office led by Paula White, a controversial celebrity televangelist and his longtime spiritual adviser.

Trump said in his remarks at the breakfast:

“It was faith that led the pilgrims to cross an ocean and settle this majestic continent, and we’re going to keep it majestic. Here in America, we are, once again, a nation that believes in ourselves. We believe in our destiny and trust in the providence of Almighty God.”

Trump said the new task force, headed by Attorney General Pam Bondi, would “immediately halt all forms of anti-Christian targeting and discrimination within the federal government” and “fully prosecute anti-Christian violence and vandalism in our society, and to move heaven and earth to defend the rights of Christians and religious believers nationwide.”

The Jewish online magazine Forward observed:

“Trump allies have long called for America to become a more Christian country. ​​Christian nationalists reject the separation of church and state, believe that the U.S. is a Christian nation with a divine destiny, and want the government to maintain and foster Christianity as America’s national identity.”

The Forward noted that White, 57, is a controversial pastor who is considered a heretic by some Orthodox Christian leaders.

She is linked to the prosperity gospel, a belief that faith in God brings material wealth and physical well-being. 

After serving as an adviser on the 2016 presidential campaign, she was tapped to head the White House’s Faith and Opportunity Initiative, created by Trump in 2018 and revoked by Joe Biden when he took office. 

Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law and White House senior adviser in Trump’s first term, boasted about his relationships with the evangelical community and called White “incredible,” according to a book published in 2021. 

In 2021, White launched the National Faith Advisory Board to push back at what many Republicans saw as an anti-faith agenda by the Biden administration. The group held frequent calls with Trump and other officials, and most recently issued a prayer alert ahead of Trump’s Oval Office meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

In a recent directive, President Donald Trump has authorized Elon Musk to recruit 45 new agents for the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

Disswire.com reports that the newly hired agents, hand-selected by Musk, will audit key federal agencies, including the FBI, CIA, and the Pentagon. The initiative aims to identify and eliminate fraud and abuse.

President Trump expressed his expectations for the initiative during a recent interview, stating that he anticipates Musk’s team will uncover “hundreds of billions of dollars in fraud and abuse” within the Pentagon alone.

He emphasized the need for a thorough examination of the Department of Defense’s budget, which has been a subject of scrutiny due to its vast expenditures. Trump also mentioned the Department of Education, which has an $850 billion annual budget, as about to come under a separate audit.

Time now for our nightly Worldview Report commentary.

President Trump indicated over the weekend that the next target of DOGE director Elon Musk will be to audit the Pentagon and look for what he expects will be massive fraud and abuse.

We know all of that, and more, is present in the Defense Industrial Complex. 

How do we know? Because woke military leaders have for years been openly colluding with woke media to undermine Trump. They did it in his first term and now they’re busy once again scheming to backstab the president.

CNN aired a report on November 9, 2024, just five days after Trump was elected the 47th president, stating that certain military leaders are engaging in informal discussions about how they would respond if President Trump issued orders to use active-duty U.S. troops against civilians or to support his mass deportation plans. These discussions raise questions about where the line is drawn between refusing an illegal/unconstitutional order and defiance of legitimate presidential directives, which could be interpreted as undermining the constitutional authority of the Commander-in-Chief.

In our republic, the military is obligated to follow all lawful orders from its civilian leaders.

The CNN report used cowardly unnamed “official sources” within the military.

One of CNN’s unnamed military cowards told the outlet:

“Troops are compelled by law to disobey unlawful orders, but the question is what happens then? Do we see resignations from senior military leaders? Or would they view that as abandoning their people?” 

The assumption here is that Trump is going to issue unlawful orders. That’s something Trump never did during his first term and gives no indication he will do in his second.

Yet, the military’s top brass is holding ongoing discussions at the Defense Department, the article goes on to say, on how they will react to a Trump order they don’t like.

CNN cited another unnamed defense official saying:

“We are all preparing and planning for the worst-case scenario, but the reality is that we don’t know how this is going to play out yet.”

The notion of military leaders contemplating defiance of presidential orders is alarming and could be seen as blatant insubordination and grounds for termination. Such actions not only challenge the established chain of command but also set a dangerous precedent that could erode the foundational principles of our republic.

President Trump’s commitment to restoring law and order, as well as his dedication to upholding the Constitution, has been evident throughout his tenure. His consideration of deploying military forces to address illegal immigration and destruction of the drug cartels underscores his determination to protect American citizens, which is the first and most important responsibility of any U.S. president.

Trump responded to CNN’s article by calling the military leaders “woke” and “weak.”

And that brings us to the question: What would precipitate the unleashing of elite special forces against the drug cartels in Mexico? And would that touch off a full-blown border war?

There is one elite unit that President Trump could turn to if he decided to eliminate the cartels, once and for all.

If an order comes down from the president to use Delta Force or some other elite unit, what would happen if the military brass flatly refused to execute the order? Then you have a constitutional crisis and a military coup on your hands. Let’s hope it never comes to that and President Trump is even as we speak getting rid of the most unreliable, disloyal officers in our military.
