Good evening and welcome to the Worldview Report.
We lead off tonight with a disturbing report out of Australia, where healthcare workers at a New South Wales hospital admitted on a video podcast that they target Jewish and Israeli patients for extermination.
Ynet News reports that Israel's ambassador to Australia, Amir Maimon, spoke on Wednesday with New South Wales Premier Chris Minns and expressed his shock over a video showing two healthcare workers employed in a hospital in the state expressing hatred toward Israelis and Jews, even boasting that they "send them to hell."
The viral video showed them bragging about killing Israeli patients and refusing to treat them.
The Israeli ambassador wrote on his X account:
“Disturbing and appalling video circulating this morning showing NSW health workers expressing violent hatred towards Israelis. I spoke with New South Wales Premier Chris Minns earlier today and was assured that all necessary measures will be taken. This is unacceptable and has no place in society.”

Shocking revelations, indeed. And it makes you wonder how many other hospitals are employing these murderous tactics against Jews or other disfavored people groups.

Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed to work together with his U.S. counterpart Donald Trump and expressed readiness to negotiate peace in Ukraine in a phone call on Wednesday, the Kremlin confirmed to the Moscow Times news outlet.
Putin and Trump discussed the war in Ukraine and possible peace talks during the call, which lasted one and a half hours. The two leaders conducted their first known direct conversation since Trump took office on January 20, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed.
Peskov said Trump “spoke in favor of a swift cessation of hostilities and a peaceful resolution of the problem.” He did not provide further details.
Putin “agreed with Trump that a long-term settlement could be reached through peaceful negotiations,” the Kremlin said in its readout of the call.
However, Putin “mentioned the need to address the root causes of the conflict.”
The Russian leader reportedly also invited Trump to visit Moscow.
Trump said he and Putin agreed to immediately start negotiations to end the Ukraine war during their “lengthy and highly productive” call.
“We agreed to work together, very closely, including visiting each other’s Nations,” said Trump.
Trump had promised to end the Ukraine war before taking office and has been pushing for a peace settlement while remaining coy until now about any possible contact with Putin.
But in a sign that Ukraine could see its fate decided by Washington and Moscow, Trump said that “we will begin by calling President Zelensky, of Ukraine, to inform him of the conversation.”
Zelensky has been trying to keep on the right side of Trump and maintain U.S. support while pushing his own nation's demands for peace with Russia.
According to Trump, he and Putin also discussed the Middle East, energy, artificial intelligence, the strength of the dollar and other key topics.
The Trump-Putin call came after a prisoner swap this week that saw Moscow free U.S. teacher Marc Fogel while Washington released Russian cryptocurrency kingpin Alexander Vinnik.
The call reflects an extraordinary shift in U.S. foreign policy, which under former President Joe Biden sought to isolate Moscow for its invasion of Ukraine and support Kiev’s defense for “as long as it takes.”

Earlier in the day on Wednesday, Trump’s Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth said Ukraine’s goals of NATO membership and restoring its pre-2014 borders in negotiations to end the war were unrealistic, as he framed the war in Ukraine as Europe’s problem. If they want to continue funding Ukraine’s war effort, they will apparently have to do it by themselves and not through NATO or the U.S.
Hegseth laid out the Trump administration’s parameters for a negotiated settlement to the Russia-Ukraine border war, a war that has dragged on for three years and siphoned off more than $175 billion in U.S. taxpayer dollars. Not to mention, it has led to more than 1 million dead Ukrainians and Russians, with many more wounded for life.
Hegseth said, for starters, Ukraine must be told it will never be allowed to join NATO, and secondly, no U.S. troops must be deployed to Ukraine. Any European troops must not be deployed as part of a NATO operation. And any security guarantees “must be backed by capable European and non-European troops.”

Those parameters would appear to meet most of Russia’s previously stated demands for a negotiated end to the war. The only issue still not addressed is the size of Ukraine’s army and the weapons it will have pointed in Moscow’s direction.

The Senate voted Wednesday to confirm President Trump’s choice of Tulsi Gabbard as Director of National Intelligence.
Senator Mitch McConnell was the lone Republican to vote against Gabbard’s confirmation.
Gabbard was considered an unconventional choice for the post because of her outspoken criticism of the military-industrial-intelligence complex. Her nomination faced backlash from all Democrats and some neocon Republicans who questioned her stance on Russia, Syria, the sacred-cow status of NATO and other foreign-policy matters.
Gabbard, a former Democratic Representative from Hawaii, endured a contentious confirmation hearing. Democratic lawmakers criticized her lack of intelligence experience and her views on issues such as Edward Snowden, who she had previously referred to as a “brave whistleblower” for exposing the National Security Agency’s spying on American citizens.
During her hearing, she refused to label Snowden as a traitor, no matter how hard she was pressured to do so.
Another issue for her critics was her decision to meet with then-Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in 2017. Her opposition claimed she legitimized the former dictator. However, she has always maintained that the meeting was intended to find a peaceful solution to the conflict in the region without involving U.S. troops.
Gabbard came under scrutiny from Democrats and Republicans when she expressed her support for Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA), after first opposing it. The measure has been used by some federal agencies to spy on American citizens without first obtaining a warrant. Gabbard previously opposed the measure but flipped during her confirmation hearing, saying she believed the proper reforms had been made.

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Florida), has been appointed as the head of a new task force created to spearhead the declassification of documents related to the assassinations of former President John F. Kennedy, Senator Robert F. Kennedy, and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., as well as other government secrets.
Those secrets include the Jeffrey Epstein client list.
Luna claimed on Tuesday that she believes there were “two shooters” in John F. Kennedy’s assassination.
During a Tuesday press conference, Luna said, “Based on what I’ve been seeing so far, the initial hearing that was actually held in Congress was actually faulty in the single bullet theory. I believe that there were two shooters.”

Zero Hedge reports that Microsoft has dropped NewsGuard, a left-wing fact checking organization they partnered with that has helped the advertising industry justify blacklists for independent conservative media sites.
The move came after Senator Ted Cruz began investigating Microsoft for funding the online so-called media literacy censorship tool created by NewsGuard to help guide “learners of all ages through the overwhelming landscape of online news and information.”
Now, surprise, surprise, we learn that NewsGuard was funded by, drum roll please… USAID.
In response to Cruz, Microsoft claims their support of NewsGuard was limited to a one-time donation in 2018, and said it had asked NewsGuard to remove a claim on its website that read “NewsGuard's Media Literacy Programs are made possible thanks to generous support from Microsoft,” Newsmax reports, citing a Senate Commerce Committee spokesperson.
“Big Tech is finally beginning to recognize the censorship of conservative viewpoints will no longer be tolerated by the American people,” Cruz, chairman of the Senate Commerce Committee, said in a statement to Newsmax on Thursday.
“I am happy to see that the leadership at Microsoft has renounced their support of NewsGuard's so-called media literacy tool in response to my letter.
“NewsGuard's biased rating system stifles intellectual diversity, hinders critical thinking among young students, and undermines our nation's core values of free expression.”
In his letter to Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, Cruz pointed out that NewsGuard has targeted outlets such as The Federalist, The Daily Wire, and NewsMax, branding them as unreliable, while left-wing outlets such as Jacobin, The Atlantic, and The New Republic are deemed reliable.
NewsGuard has also “found a willing partner in the American Federation of Teachers (AFT)” to use their media literacy tool browser extension in over 800 public libraries worldwide.
Major advertising agencies have used NewsGuard to censor conservative media - including Omnicom, Interpublic, Publicis, Magnite, PubMatic, TripleLift, Comscore, Zefr, and Giphy.

A viral picture on social media allegedly appears to show a female Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agent pointing a gun at a baby in a crib during a raid against one of the individuals involved in the January 6, 2021, Capitol protest.

Sharing the picture of the FBI agent pointing a gun at a baby in a crib on social media, End Wokeness tweeted, “FBI agent. Pointing a gun. Loaded. At a baby in a crib. During a raid against a nonviolent January 6th protestor.”
Conservative social media user Bradley Brewer also shared the viral picture, tweeting, “Imagine. You’re a baby lying in a crib. All of a sudden, a female FBI agent points a loaded gun at you just because your daddy walked around inside the Capitol building after being invited in by police.”
The viral picture of the FBI agent was quickly met with backlash on X, formerly Twitter. One social media user wrote, “Sickening, President Trump should not only fire these corrupt FBI agents they must be prosecuted to the fullest.” Another social media user said, “So sad, to see a picture like this. The government is so corrupt it’s hard to recognize that it[s] the United States of America that I grew up in.”
Philip Anderson, who describes himself on social media as a free speech activist and a “January 6th survivor,” claimed that the viral photo shows how the FBI behaved as “40% of all the FBI agents in America did nothing except hunt down Trump supporters for the last 4 years.”

The Jewish Press reports that the IDF is preparing for its largest mobilization since the war began, in case the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip collapses and Israel resumes its offensive.
These preparations come amid the ongoing crisis over the Israel-Hamas hostage deal and a proposal by President Donald Trump, stating that Israel will restart the war if all hostages are not returned by this Saturday at noon.
Hamas for its part appears to be primarily concerned about potential surprise assassinations by Israeli forces, particularly with the recent return of reconnaissance aircraft armed with missiles over several areas of the Gaza Strip. This is viewed as a violation of the ceasefire agreement, which stipulates a no-fly period of 10 hours on days without hostage releases and 12 hours on days when a handover takes place.
According to the Jewish Press, in the past two days, these aircraft have reportedly been flying for extended hours, raising further tensions.
Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich announced: “From the beginning, I said that it is forbidden to negotiate with the devil. And now we have signed a bad deal and the devil is standing in our midst and announcing that he refuses to release the hostages in the next heartbeat on Shabbat. Hamas is not only threatening. Hamas is cruelly manipulating the families of the hostages, their broken hearts, manipulating Israeli society and tearing it apart from within.”

The Department of Homeland Security says it has taken back $59 million in FEMA funds earmarked for hotels housing migrants in New York City, a day after it fired those involved in making the payment.
A DHS spokesperson told Fox News:
“Secretary Noem has clawed back the full payment that FEMA deep state activists unilaterally gave to NYC migrant hotels. There will not be a single penny spent that goes against the interest and safety of the American people.”
The announcement came after the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) said it had uncovered $59 million in payments for luxury hotels for migrants who had flooded into the sanctuary city during the recent crisis at the southern border. Elon Musk said the payments had been sent in the last week.
DHS announced Tuesday it had fired four employees for circumventing leadership and unilaterally making the payments. The firings included FEMA’s CFO, two analysts and a grant specialist.

Time now for our nightly Worldview Report commentary.
The Washington Post reported that the White House has fired the independent inspector general for USAID, a day after his office issued a blistering report assessing the impact of the Trump administration’s efforts to significantly curtail the agency’s mission.
Paul K. Martin, appointed by President Joe Biden in December 2023, was informed of his dismissal through a two-sentence email from Trent Morse, deputy director of the White House Office of Presidential Personnel, according to a copy of the note viewed by The Washington Post. Martin oversaw a staff of 275 with a dozen offices located abroad.
Morse wrote in his email to Martin:
“On behalf of President Donald Trump, I am writing to inform you that your position as Inspector General of the United States Agency for International Development is terminated, effective immediately. Thank you for your service.”
The move follows Trump’s January 24 decision to fire 17 inspectors general. Democrats have whined and complained, saying such moves undercut the independence of these inspectors. But any inspector who stayed quiet about the extreme waste, fraud and abuse being uncovered by DOGE needs to go because they clearly lost their ability, long ago, to independently employ critical-thinking skills.
Martin, 65, has served four decades in the federal government, including stints as a staffer at the U.S. Sentencing Commission, as counsel at the Justice Department’s inspector general’s office and as the NASA inspector general for 14 years, before spending the past 14 months at USAID. That’s way too long, in my opinion. No bureaucrat should be allowed to stay in government indefinitely. We need term limits for bureaucrats as well as politicians. Otherwise, they accumulate too much power and become unaccountable for their actions.
Kudos to President Trump for clearing the deck at some of these agencies and replacing the lifers with fresh blood and new ideas. Some should be eliminated and not replaced at all. There is no reason any government employee should be bringing home half a million dollars a year or more. That’s criminal and it needs to stop, now.
That does it for this edition of the Worldview Report. Thanks for tuning in and supporting this broadcast.
Until next time…
