Good evening and welcome to the Worldview Report.

The government knows who is controlling the mystery drones and what the mission is designed to do, but it is deliberately hiding the truth, according to a New Jersey state senator.

The senator has bluntly accused the government of lying about the mysterious drones flying over the Garden State, and now several other states as well as the U.K. and Germany, saying the feds are too fearful of how people would react if they knew what was going on with these drones.

One theory is that a dirty bomb or some other type of radioactive device is known to be in the United States and the government drones are looking for clues as to where the weapon may be hidden. In essence, they’re running a nuclear sniffing operation, searching for high levels of radiation that might provide clues to the whereabouts of such a weapon.

Republican State Senator Jon Bramnick told NewsNation on Saturday:

“Whatever these drones are doing, the government really doesn’t want us to know.”

He is calling on the U.S. Department of Defense to “come clean with the American public” about what is really happening, adding:

“What that must mean is they’re more concerned with us getting knowledge and being afraid of that information than having no knowledge and having all these questions. There must be something going on that they can’t tell us because they’re so fearful of what the public’s gonna do when they hear what the drones are doing.”

He further added that “There’s no way the Department of Defense does not know what’s going on.”

Here is a video of one of the drones captured by an airline passenger from above.

On Tuesday, Bramnick called for New Jersey to issue a limited state of emergency until officials could provide answers on the drones, which began popping up in parts of New York and New Jersey on Nov. 18.

Tensions over the mysterious flying objects hit a boiling point Saturday in New York after Gov. Hochul declared it’s time to take action. “This has gone too far,” she said in a statement announcing that she asked federal authorities to authorize local police departments to shoot down drones.

Comments by Belleville, New Jersey, Mayor Michael Melham suggest some of the drones could be suspected of carrying a radioactive payload.

Melham stated that the state of New Jersey gave his city guidance that if a drone is downed “we’re immediately to call the bomb squad of our county, and, second, our fire department has been instructed to make sure they wear HAZMAT suits” like it’s an attack on the homeland.

A local television reporter then asked, “So, if something falls out of the sky that people have seen…you’re to treat this [like] more than a plane crash, it’s treated like an attack on the homeland?”

Melham answered, “That is correct, because they’re not quite sure if there’s a payload or not, and that’s what we were told during our briefing on Wednesday.”

Later, he said that “it sounds like it might very well be our highest-level government, it might be government assets that are being deployed as a countermeasure.”

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas stirred up more controversy about the drones when he went on ABC’s This Week with George Stephanopoulos and said that his agency was limited in its authority to shoot down drones.

Mayorkas said, “There are thousands of drones flown every day in the United States, recreational drones, commercial drones. That is the reality, and in September of 2023, the Federal Aviation Administration, the FAA, changed the rules so that drones could fly at night, and that may be one of the reasons why now people are seeing more drones than they did before, especially from dawn to dusk. So that is the reality, but I want to assure the American public that we are on it. We are working in close coordination with state and local authorities, and it is critical, as we all have said, for a number of years, that we need from Congress, additional authorities to address the drone situation. Our authorities currently are limited, and they are set to expire. We need them extended and expanded.”

He added, “We want state and local authorities to also have the ability to counter drone activity under federal supervision. That is one important element that we have requested, and we’ve heard it echoed by the state and local officials themselves.”

Mayorkas, as usual, is speaking as a deceiver. He is hiding behind a legal smokescreen that doesn’t exist.

If it’s a foreign entity directing these drones, the government absolutely has the right to protect the public from any potential harm. They do NOT need more authority than they already have to shoot down a drone suspected of having hostile intent against the American homeland by a foreign adversary.

Anytime the federal government is asking for more power and authority, it should be questioned.

Police in China are testing a ball-shaped robot that can identify and chase suspects.

The spherical police robot in Wenzhou, China, features cameras, flashing lights, and a self-stabilizing design, according to the South China Morning Post. Equipped with tools that include speakers, net guns and tear gas sprayers, it supports law enforcement and cannot be destroyed.

Authorities say this robot is “resilient in hostile environments.”

The 125-kilogram spherical robot addresses challenges faced by wheeled and legged robots. According to Associate Professor Wang You, it can reach a top speed of 35 kilometers per hour in just 2.5 seconds.

Wang You said: “This robot can cope with dangers such as falling or being beaten, and can perform tactical actions such as enemy identification, tracking and capture after modular modification.”

China is the laboratory for technocracy, so what you see here, a super robot that can take on civilians and viciously put down civil unrest, is likely to be rolled out in the United States soon.

The Wall Street Journal reports that Bible sales are up 22% in the U.S. through the end of October, 2024, compared with the same period last year, according to book tracker Circana BookScan. By contrast, total U.S. print book sales were up less than 1% in that period.

Jeff Crosby, president of the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association, said:

“People are experiencing anxiety themselves, or they’re worried for their children and grandchildren. It’s related to artificial intelligence, election cycles…and all of that feeds a desire for assurance that we’re going to be OK.”

Cely Vazquez, a 28-year-old artist and influencer who has appeared on the reality TV show Love Island USA, recently bought her first Bible, one from the She Reads Truth line of Bibles sold at Barnes & Noble.

She said:

“I’ve had Bibles that my mom gave me, but I felt I needed my own to start my own journey, that it symbolized I was starting a walk with God. I felt something was missing. It’s a combination of where we are in the world, general anxiety and the sense that meaning and comfort can be found in the Bible.”

Bethany Martin, manager of the Faith & Life Bookstore in Newton, Kansas, said she is selling to lots of first-time Bible buyers, adding, “They’re looking for hope with the world the way it is, and the Bible is what they’re reaching for.”

This is good news, but I would stop short of saying it correlates to any major revival going on in America. That’s because many of these hotter selling Bibles are newer versions that take liberty with the Word.

Retail store closures in the United States rose sharply in 2024, with more than 7,100 closures announced through the end of November, according to data from the research firm CoreSight. This number marks a 69 percent increase from the previous year under the Biden-Harris administration, which has been plagued by inflation.

The spike in closures is tied to a wave of retail bankruptcies, with 45 retailers filing this year compared to 25 in 2023. Economic challenges, including persistent inflation, have led consumers to cut back on discretionary spending.

While larger chains like Walmart have adapted by appealing to cautious customers, others have faced significant challenges. Last month, Target reported disappointing earnings and sales for its most recent quarter.

Companies with the largest number of store closures this year include Family Dollar and CVS Health. Pharmacy closures have been a notable trend, with over 7,000 such locations shuttered since 2019, according to the Associated Press.

Neil Saunders, an analyst with GlobalData, explained that while economic pressures are a factor, many struggling retailers face deeper issues.

Saunders explained to CBS News:

“There is not enough growth in the retail market for every player to do well, which is why we are seeing polarized results. However, many of the chains closing stores are those that have problems which go beyond the economy. Their propositions might not be right, their offers might not be what consumers want, and they might not have responded to competitive threats in the right way.”

There were a number of celebrities claiming they'd move to Canada if President Trump was re-elected, but now there's one Canadian who's doing the opposite.

World famous psychologist Jordan Peterson has said Canada is turning into a “totalitarian hellhole” by suppressing free speech and has fled Canada as a result, according to the New York Post.

In a recent episode of his daughter's podcast, Peterson revealed he moved to the U.S. due to Canada’s contentious Bill C-63 and his dispute with the College of Psychologists of Ontario.

Bill C-63, the Online Harms Act, seeks to curb hate speech by holding social media platforms accountable for harmful content.

Peterson said: “The issue with the College of Psychologists is very annoying, to say the least, and the new legislation that the liberals are attempting to push through, Bill C-63, we’d all be living in a totalitarian hellhole if it passes.”

The New York Post writes that the British Columbia Civil Liberties Association warned the bill could lead to wrongful convictions, while others criticized it for allowing complaints based on mere fear of a hate crime.

Meanwhile, Jordan Peterson, facing criticism for his views on transgenderism, racism, and COVID-19, remains at odds with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. The college threatened to revoke his license unless he completes social media re-education training, a decision upheld by Canada’s Supreme Court in August after Peterson's appeal was dismissed.

CNN is reporting that a number of advisors close to Vice President Kamala Harris are urging her to run for governor of California when her term as vice president ends in January.

According to a report from CNN’s Isaac Dovere, a number of top aides and close friends of the vice president are urging her to run for the soon-to-be open seat in 2026. Those in favor of the bid have pointed to Harris’ rise in favorability rating after President Biden suspended his presidential campaign back in July. After polling as the most unpopular vice president in American history, Harris’ favorability rating climbed north of 50 percent at multiple points during her abbreviated White House campaign, according to several pollsters.

Advisors have also pointed to Harris’ massive fundraising haul, as the campaign raised north of one-billion-dollars. While the campaign ended the cycle in debt and has come under fire for a number of questionable spending decisions, a number of political strategists and White House aides have pointed the finger at former Obama aides like David Plouffe and Jen O’Malley Dillon for poor money management.

Harris has also been elected to statewide office three times in California, twice as attorney general and once as a U.S. Senator.

It isn't just nuclear projects getting in on the trend of selling power to the massive data centers needed to power artificial intelligence. Now, as reported by Zero Hedge, oil juggernaut Exxon is joining the fray.

Zero Hedge reports that Exxon is planning a large natural gas-powered plant to supply electricity directly to data centers, incorporating technology to capture more than 90% of its carbon emissions, according to the New York Times.

This would be Exxon’s first power plant not dedicated to its own operations.

CEO Darren Woods said this week: “There are very few opportunities in the short term to power those data centers and do it in a way that at the same time minimizes, if not completely eliminates, the emissions.”

Exxon exec Dan Ammann added: “We’re being driven by the market demand here. It’s low carbon, it’s available on an accelerated timeline and it avoids all the grid interconnection challenges.”

Tech giants are increasingly willing to pay extra for reliable clean energy, including nuclear power.

The New York Times adds that Exxon, having secured land and engaged potential customers, plans to launch its gas-powered plant within five years, faster than building new nuclear reactors.

The plant would operate off-grid, avoiding lengthy grid-connection delays. This move highlights how the growth of data centers and AI is transforming the energy sector, pushing Exxon into a business it once avoided.

Time now for our nightly Worldview Report commentary.

The Republic of Georgia has a new president, and he is a former professional soccer player for Manchester City: 53-year-old Mikheil Kavelashvili of Georgian Dream party.

He emerged victorious on Saturday, but was the only candidate, after 224 out of 225 members of Georgia's electoral college voted him in. This is after the country's main opposition groups declared a boycott of parliament, claiming the October elections which saw the Dream Party sweep were rigged.

The new president’s inauguration is set for December 29, and that too is likely to be heavily protested, just as his election has been, amid police deploying riot control methods against larger and larger crowds all this month.

Georgia’s capital city, Tblisi, has endured 18 straight nights of protests.

Western media describes the country’s new president as far right and a hardline critic of the West, as well as “conspiratorial” given he has claimed that Western interests are seeking to drive Georgia into conflict with Russia.

He has also been criticized for lack of governing credentials, despite having previously been an MP.

Of course it’s no secret what’s actually going on here. The people of Georgia democratically elect a new president that the war-mongering Uniparty in Washington doesn’t like, because he’s not all gung ho about going to war with Russia, and they attack him with all sorts of false accusations in the media and get the corporate fake news to keep heaping lies upon lies, just like they did with Donald Trump here in the U.S.

But the CIA’s attempted color revolution in Georgia has failed. The people have spoken. And in a post-Covid world, the corporate media no longer has any credibility.

That does it for this edition of the Worldview Report.

Thanks for tuning in and supporting this broadcast.

Until next time…
