A week does not go by that we are not blessed to hear from someone, through voice mail or e-mail that is thanking us for the Biblical truth that is presented on the national television program, The Worldview Weekend Hour. Recently, I was encouraged when a highly respected and internationally known Bible teacher told me that he has been watching The Worldview Weekend Hour on Monday evenings for the past few years and affirmed much of what we present. I am always shocked at how many people watch the program even though it is only available through a Christian station on Direct TV and a Christian station in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. However, with your help that is about to change.
With your help just about anyone that wants to watch The Worldview Weekend Hour each week will be able to do so starting this September. Today's technology gives us a great opportunity to offer Biblical teaching to people all over the world. Worldview Weekend Radio is heard on numerous radio stations each day. However, it is the mobile phone apps and computer podcast that allows Worldview Weekend Radio to be heard all over the world. In fact, the huge volume of listeners to Worldview Weekend Radio, recently required Worldview Weekend to purchase three new and very large servers to handle the hundreds of thousands of downloads that are occurring each year. The explosion in the radio listenership of Worldview Weekend Radio has given us the desire to use this same technology to distribute The Worldview Weekend Hour television program each week.  The Worldview Weekend Hour television program has been broadcast on a Christian station on Direct TV for the past five years and for that we are very thankful. Yet, that is a very limited audience. Therefore, starting this September, we would like to stream The Worldview Weekend Hour on a new website that allows people all over the world to watch on demand every Monday. This new website will be built in such a manner that individuals will be able to view The Worldview Weekend Hour television program on their computer but also on their mobile phone, ipad, and on their TV through Roku.
Roku is an industry leader in allowing you to watch internet programing on your television. In the past three years, Roku has sold over three million of their boxes in the United States. The boxes are very reasonable in price and can be purchased at many retails stores such as Best Buy. The Roku box can also be purchased online at www.roku.com. The setup of Roku is very simple. You simply purchase the box, plug it into your television, and sync it to your wireless internet router. Once this is done, you will be able to stream The Worldview Weekend Hour on your television for free. Unlike cable or satellite television, there is no monthly fee for your Roku box and The Worldview Weekend Hour is free.
Starting this September, we plan to start streaming The Worldview Weekend Hour television program for free through Roku, through a new computer website (www.wvwtv.com  that we are building now), and through mobile phones and ipads. We will continue to broadcast on Direct TV and the Christian television station in Milwaukee. However, the new mobile phone and internet outlets we are creating will mean that almost anyone will be able to have access to the Bible teaching we offer on The Worldview Weekend Hour.
A traveler sitting in an airport waiting for their flight can sit and watch The Worldview Weekend Hour on their ipad, computer, or mobile phone. A commuter riding in a car pool or on a bus can watch The Worldview Weekend Hour on their ipad or a mobile phone. A factory worker enjoying their lunch or a family in their living room after dinner can stream The Worldview Weekend Hour on demand.
Once this new website is built, we will use Worldview Weekend Radio, the e-mail list of 225,000 that belongs to Worldview Weekend, and banners on popular websites to invite people to stream The Worldview Weekend Hour on demand whenever they desire each Monday.
