Good evening and welcome to the Worldview Report.
In our top story tonight, shots were fired near Donald Trump's golf course in West Palm Beach.
The former president was golfing at his south Florida club on Sunday afternoon as shots rang out. The former president was not harmed.
Secret Service agents reportedly fired at the gunman, who fled in a black SUV but was later brought into custody.
Trump was reportedly tackled by Secret Service agents on the fifth hole of his golf course but the shooter reportedly never got a shot off in the direction of the former president.
The man in custody whom the Secret Service shot at while he was in possession of a semiautomatic rifle has been identified as 58-year-old Ryan Wesley Routh, according to multiple reports.
Routh is reported to be a Ukrainian loyalist who has posted on social media his hatred of Donald Trump. He’s also allegedly been involved in recruiting private mercenary soldiers for the Ukrainian army in its war with Russia.
Routh allegedly ran off and drove away, but was later apprehended in the next county. Officials said the alleged assassin left behind an AK-47 rifle with a scope, along with two backpacks and a GoPro camera hanging on a chain-link fence.
This second assassination attempt comes exactly two months after Trump was shot in the ear during an assassination attempt at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13.
The alleged gunman behind Donald Trump's second assassination attempt got within 300 to 500 yards of the former president, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.
The FBI told Newsweek on Sunday that it is investigating the shooting at the Trump International Golf Club as an attempted assassination. The Secret Service said that shots were fired around 1:30 p.m. EST on the golf course.
Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw told reporters at a press briefing Sunday afternoon that a Secret Service agent had spotted the gunman with a rifle sticking out of a bush-lined fence at the golf course. The agent then engaged with the suspect, who then fled the scene in a black Nissan SUV.
Trump's golf club is just five miles from his residence at his Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach and is where the former president is often spotted golfing when he is not on the campaign trail.
Trump, in a post to Truth Social, said he was fine and “nothing will slow me down.”

Zero Hedge reports that Venezuela has announced the arrest of three Americans, two Spaniards and a Czech citizen, accusing them of plotting to assassinate President Nicolas Maduro. The arrests were first announced Saturday by the country's Interior Minister Diosdado Cabello, who said that one of the Americans is Wilbert Joseph Gomez - a Navy SEAL - who state television said served in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Colombia.
Cabello alleged this was all part of another CIA plot to overthrow the Maduro government, which comes after Washington has contested the official results of the July 28 election which ensured the longtime strongman another six-year term as leader.
Cabello held up rifles he claimed were used by the six foreigners as part of the anti-government plot. An image being circulated by state media of Gomez, who is described as an active elite SEAL.
While the United States is of course denying that it is behind any plot to assassinate or overthrow Maduro, the State Department did offer confirmation that at least one of the arrested men is a military servicemember:
The U.S. State Department late Saturday confirmed the detention of a U.S. military member and said it was aware of “unconfirmed reports of two additional U.S. citizens detained in Venezuela.”
Zero Hedge notes that the whole bizarre saga is eerily familiar. In 2020, a former U.S. Green Beret who ran a private security firm in Florida assembled a team for what ended up being a failed amphibious raid by a ragtag group of soldiers out of Colombia on Venezuela's shores.
The former Beret, Jordan Goudreau, later faced federal charges for failing to have an export license for assault rifles, ammunition, silencers, night vision goggles, and other military items which had been sent to Colombia.

Slay News reports that major banks are being urged to stop financing the global farming industry as part of an effort to force limits on the public’s consumption of meat and dairy.
A collective of more than 100 climate groups, led by Friends of the Earth, is pressuring JPMorgan Chase, Citigroup, and other private banks to stop financing large-scale meat and dairy companies worldwide.
According to a report from Agriculture Dive, the groups argue that the institutions’ lending activities undermine their environmental commitments.
An open letter from groups to some of the world’s biggest banks calls for a halt on any new financing that expands industrial livestock production.
The banks are being pressured to add requirements that meat, dairy, and feed clients disclose their climate action plans.
The letter calls out the banks by name for supporting the world’s biggest meat, dairy, and animal feed producers like JBS, Tyson Foods, and others.
While food companies are a small part of the banks’ overall lending portfolios, the groups say they have a much bigger impact on the institutions’ environmental footprints.
The letter says increased lending has let the world’s biggest emitters grow their operations and emissions.
According to research from Profundo and Feedback Global, between 2019 to 2022, financial institutions granted 15% more credit to the largest meat, dairy, and feed corporations than the previous four years.
Of the $134 billion in loans and underwriting to the meat and dairy sectors, more than half are tied to Bank of America, Citigroup and JPMorgan Chase.
Martin Bowman, senior policy and campaigns manager at Feedback Global, said in a statement:
“Industrial livestock companies are incompatible with a safe future for our planet, so it is time for banks and investors to turn off the taps and stop providing the finance that is enabling them to grow.”
These are the same climate alarmists who, like Bill Gates, say we need to eat bugs and fake meat instead of beef and other livestock-based protein.

Houthi Muslim rebels fired a long-range surface-to-surface missile into central Israel on Sunday, the Israeli Defense Forces said.
The attack, which Houthis said was launched from over 1200 miles away, is a mark of escalation from the Yemen-based militia group.
Yahya Saree, a Houthis spokesperson, said the group launched “a new hypersonic missile” towards a target in Jaffa, near Tel Aviv.
The IDF's missile defense system didn't intercept the missile before it entered Israel's airspace and said the missile exploded in the air, scattering debris in open areas.
The IDF said fragments of air defense missiles fell near a rail station and that a fire started near the Ben Gurion Airport.
No injuries were reported as a result of the attack, but the IDF said nine people were injured while moving to shelters after alarms sounded.
This is the longest-range missile to ever hit Israel.
An IDF official said in a briefing with reporters that Israel began monitoring the Houthi missile shortly after it was launched.
Once in Israeli airspace, one of the interceptor missiles detonated near the Houthi missile but didn't destroy it, the official said.
The IDF official said the Houthi missile was not a hypersonic missile, as the Houthis had claimed.
The Houthis have been threatening to retaliate for Israel's strike on Hodeidah, Yemen's fourth-largest city.
On Saturday, a Houthi official said that in the coming days, Israel is going to encounter surprises it doesn't expect.
In a separate statement shared on Telegram after Sunday's launch, the Houthis said Israel should expect more attacks ahead of the one-year anniversary of Hamas' October 7 attack on Israel.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the Houthis “should know that we exact a high price for any attempt to attack us.”

The UK Ministry of Defense has revealed that the Royal Navy shadowed several Russian naval vessels, including a submarine traversing the English Channel during the past week.
This operation occurred amid heightened geopolitical tensions between the UK and Russia and was outlined in a Ministry of Defense (MOD) press release on September 13.
The MOD reported that over six days, the Royal Navy shadowed four Russian naval ships, including a Kilo-class submarine and its support vessel.
This surveillance was part of a coordinated effort involving NATO allies, starting with the Canadian warship HMCS Shawinigan, which initially escorted the Russian vessels from the Baltic Sea across the North Sea.
Upon nearing the Dover Strait, responsibility for the operation transitioned from the Canadian patrol ship to the Portsmouth-based frigate HMS Iron Duke.
Following the Russian vessels’ departure from UK waters, HMS Iron Duke transferred its shadowing duties to the French Navy. The French frigate FS Auvergne took over the operation off the northwest coast of France.
Throughout these operations, the Russian warships and their support vessels were closely watched to ensure they adhered to international laws, specifically the right of innocent passage through UK waters, according to the UK.

On September 11, the House of Representatives passed H.R. 1425, the “No WHO Pandemic Preparedness Treaty Without Senate Approval Act.” Passed with bi-partisan support, this bill establishes that any convention or agreement on pandemic-related issues reached by the World Health Assembly (WHA) . . . shall be deemed to be a treaty requiring the advice and consent of the Senate.
What makes this bill so powerful is that it applies to any agreement passed by the WHA pertaining to pandemics. Therefore, the WHO cannot circumvent the need to obtain Senate approval – as required by the U.S. Constitution -- by calling their treaties by other names.
This bill will likely also stop any treaty coming out of the WHO. First, President Biden is now prevented from simply signing such treaties into law via Executive Order. Beyond this, on May 1, 2024, 49 U.S. Senators sent a letter to President Biden condemning the WHO’s Amended International Health Regulations and the process leading up to its passage. Should this instrument come before the Senate for ratification, it will most likely fail to achieve the two-thirds majority needed. Bills like this need to be passed by countries all over the world, to stop the globalist power grab by the WHO.
The companion bill, S. 444, introduced by Senator Ron Johnson, still has to pass the Senate, and it reportedly has a decent chance.

Time now for our nightly Worldview Report commentary.
It appears to be just a matter of time before the Biden administration approves the use of long-range missiles by Ukraine against Russia.
The heads of state in the United Kingdom and Canada are both pushing hard for Biden to approve long-range hits on Russian cities, almost guaranteeing the start of World War III. Russian President Vladimir Putin has made it clear that fateful result is what’s at stake in this decision by Joe Biden, or whoever is running Joe Biden.
But over the weekend another powerful voice came out in favor of Ukraine launching missiles at Russian cities.
Breitbart reports the head of NATO’s military committee said Saturday that Ukraine has the solid legal and military right to strike deep inside Russia to gain combat advantage – reflecting the beliefs of a number of U.S. allies – even as the Biden administration balks at allowing Kyiv to do so using American-made weapons.
“Every nation that is attacked has the right to defend itself,” said Admiral Rob Bauer, speaking at the close of the committee’s annual meeting, also attended by U.S. General CQ Brown, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. “And that right doesn’t stop at the border of your own nation.”
Then let them defend themselves. Why are you encouraging nations to place their innocent Western populations in grave danger of nuclear annihilation?
Breitbart continues, noting that Bauer, of the Netherlands, also added that nations have the sovereign right to put limits on the weapons they send to Ukraine. But, standing next to him at a press briefing, Lt. Gen. Karel Rehka, chief of the General Staff of the Czech Armed Forces, made it clear his nation places no such weapons restrictions on Kyiv.
“We believe that the Ukrainians should decide themselves how to use it,” Rehka said.
The idiotic comments by these Western leaders came as U.S. President Joe Biden was weighing whether to allow Ukraine to use American-provided long-range weapons to hit deep into Russia.
The perception is that there remain deep divisions over this issue. But the U.S. government has likely already made the decision to lift the restrictions on Ukraine’s use of the long-range missile batteries regardless of how much they’ve been trying to make it look like these other NATO-aligned governments are begging for U.S. approval.
Biden met with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer on Friday. U.S. officials familiar with the discussions said they believed Starmer was seeking Biden’s approval to allow Ukraine to use British Storm Shadow missiles for expanded strikes in Russia.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau also has publicly voiced his support for the long-range strikes against Russia to begin.
Here is Trudeau essentially declaring war on Russia.

And, yet, if you look at the top stories at the major corporate media sites, you see little to no coverage of this all-important decision in which the future of Western civilization potentially hangs in the balance.
But Putin has made the consequences of such actions crystal clear.
Here is Putin laying out the stakes as far back as February 2024.

And there have been many more warnings since by Putin and his various spokespersons. Still, the Western madmen rush forward with their insane policy of inviting war with Russia.
They must be stopped. If Donald Trump is the only one who can stop them, is it any wonder he’s had two attempts on his life in a little over two months?
That does it for this edition of the Worldview Report. Thanks for watching and supporting this broadcast.
