Good evening and welcome to the Worldview Report.

In an interview with NBC’s Meet the Press on Sunday, President-elect Donald Trump outlined his plan for immigration policy, emphasizing deportation for those in the United States illegally. 

Trump reaffirmed his commitment to removing illegal aliens, starting with those who have committed crimes and expanding to others. He did not specify which crimes would be prioritized. This approach may also involve U.S. citizens choosing to leave with family members who are undocumented.

But the biggest news to come out of the interview is that Trump strongly suggested he may use executive action to terminate birthright citizenship. This would no doubt trigger potential legal opposition and a court battle.

According to The National Pulse, Trump spoke of treating families humanely, suggesting mixed-status families might opt to leave the country together instead of facing separation.

Trump indicated a willingness to collaborate with Democrats to exclude so-called Dreamers from deportation. This group includes those who arrived in the U.S. without documentation as children and are covered under the DACA program, and Trump said he would be willing to work with Democrats to consider maintaining their residency status.

Syria's ousted President Bashar al-Assad has escaped the onslaught of jihadists in his country, and certain death, arriving safely in Moscow over the weekend, Russian state media has confirmed.

Assad and members of his family arrived in the city on Sunday, a Kremlin source told the TASS news agency.

The source said: “Assad and his family members have arrived in Moscow. Russia, for humanitarian reasons, has granted them asylum.”

Assad left the Syrian capital of Damascus after his government fell following a lightning offensive by anti-regime forces across the country - bringing his 24-year rule to an end. It was basically a coalition of three major Sunni jihadist groups that brought Assad’s government down. They had the support of Turkey and the Western intelligence agencies led by the CIA.

Assad, for all his faults, did run a secular government. Women, especially Christians and other religious minorities, are fearing for their lives under the prospect of Sharia law being imposed by the Sunni radicals who make up the HTS and other groups.

Assad left after giving orders for there to be a peaceful transfer of power, the Russian foreign ministry said.

The Syrian Prime Minister was not as lucky. Unlike President Assad, he was not able to get out and was see being arrested Saturday by armed jihadists.

As Assad fled, footage circulating on social media showed families ransacking presidential palaces in Damascus, with some taking selfies in the grand settings, as thousands celebrated in the streets, reminiscent of the fall of Saddam Hussein in Iraq.

The Syrian regime had faced a battle on three fronts - Hayat Tahrir al Sham (HTS) from the north, the Southern Front, and a Kurdish group in the east.

It also came to light Sunday that the U.S. military was running air strikes in Syria immediately following the fall of Damascus.

The U.S. Central Command, also known as CENTCOM, announced on Sunday that it had conducted a series of airstrikes in central Syria, targeting ISIS camps and operatives as part of an effort to combat the terrorist organization.

According to a CENTCOM statement, the operation involved precision strikes on over 75 targets, utilizing multiple Air Force assets, including B-52 bombers, F-15 fighter jets, and A-10 aircraft.

According to the statement:

“The strikes against the ISIS leaders, operatives, and camps were conducted as part of the ongoing mission to disrupt, degrade, and defeat ISIS, in order to prevent the terrorist group from conducting external operations and to ensure that ISIS does not seek to take advantage of the current situation to reconstitute in central Syria.”

The U.S. may have been acting in support of Israel, which also launched large-scale air strikes inside of Syria on Sunday after the downfall of Assad.

The IDF bombed heavy military equipment and ammo depots in eastern and southern Syria and reportedly also degraded an air base.

Israel seized territory in Syrian-controlled areas of the Golan Heights, as its military warned Syrians living in five villages close to the Israeli-occupied portion of the strategic area to stay in their homes.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says he ordered Israeli forces to grab a buffer zone in the Golan Heights established by a 1974 ceasefire agreement with Syria.

Netanyahu said on Sunday that the decades-old agreement had collapsed and that Syrian soldiers had abandoned their positions, necessitating the Israeli takeover.

“We will not allow any hostile force to establish itself on our border,” he said.

Donald Trump on Sunday pushed Russian leader Vladimir Putin to act to reach an immediate ceasefire with Ukraine, describing it as part of his efforts as president-elect to end the war. 

Trump posted on social media:

“Zelensky and Ukraine would like to make a deal and stop the madness.”

In a television interview that aired Sunday, Trump also said he would be open to reducing military aid to Ukraine and pulling the United States out of NATO. Such statements are sending panicked chills down the spines of war hawks in Ukraine, in Europe and in the Washington establishment.

Asked on NBC's Meet the Press if he were actively working to end the nearly 3-year-old Ukraine war, Trump said, “I am.”

He refused to say if he had spoken to Putin since winning the election in November. 

Trump said, “I don’t want to say anything about that, because I don’t want to do anything that could impede the negotiation.”

Trump made his proposal after a weekend meeting in Paris with French and Ukrainian leaders, where many world leaders gathered to celebrate the restoration of Notre Dame cathedral after a devastating fire. 

He added that,

“I know Vladimir well. This is his time to act. China can help. The World is waiting!” 

Zelensky described his discussions Saturday with Trump as “constructive” but gave no further details.

The Federalist has an article up about Canada’s infamous Dr. Death.

Dr. Ellen Wiebe does not heal her patients. She kills them.

The doctor operates an abortion mill in Vancouver, called the Willow Clinic, where she also performs assisted suicides. In Canada, this practice of doctors killing their patients is called “medical assistance in dying,” or MAID.

“She does abortions during the day, and then she goes out and provides euthanasia to sick old people,” Angelina Ireland, executive director of the Canadian nonprofit Delta Hospice Society, told The Federalist. “Some might consider her to be a massive serial killer.”

Wiebe once operated a family practice but “now restricts her practice to women’s health and assisted death.” She is the research director of the Canadian Association of MAID Assessors and Providers (CAMAP) — an organization supporting doctors who deliberately kill their patients — and sits on the clinicians advisory council for the powerful pro-euthanasia lobby Dying With Dignity Canada. 

Canada legalized MAID in 2016, revising its criminal code to let doctors kill their patients. Officials updated the law in 2021, removing the requirement that a patient’s death be foreseeable. Groups like Dying With Dignity Canada have since been pushing to expand the euthanasia program to “mature minors,” and parliament has been debating the issue. 

In an interview with Wiebe, the disabled actress Liz Carr, a public opponent of euthanasia, asked the doctor if someone like herself would be eligible.

“Liz, right now you love life, and you want to live. But there’s lots of nasty illnesses you might get,” Wiebe replied, breaking out in laughter.

The doctor went on to say, point blank, that killing people is her favorite part of her job. She’s killed over 400 so far and it gives her great satisfaction.

The Food and Drug Administration is considering a ban on a cancer-causing food dye derived from petroleum, commonly found in beverages, snacks, cereals, and candies, according to NBC News.

On Thursday, FDA Deputy Commissioner for Human Foods Jim Jones stated at a Senate hearing that his agency will finalize the decision to eliminate food dye FD&C Red No. 3, known as Red 3, from America's food supply chain. 

Jones said:

“So, in Red 3, we have a petition in front of us to revoke the authorization for it, and we are hopeful that within the next few weeks, we will be acting on that petition, and a decision should be forthcoming.”

Republican Senator Tommy Tuberville stated: “Let me say this: Red 3 has been known to cause cancer in cosmetics, but we still allow it to be put in our food. . . I don't understand that.”

According to Food Safety News, 22 bipartisan members of Congress asked the FDA to ban Red Dye No. 3. 

The lawmakers wrote:

“A ban on Red 3 is not only statutorily required, but it is also feasible – alternatives are widely available. Thirty-four years of inaction is far too long. We are calling on the FDA to use its regulatory authority to ban Red 3 from our nation's food supply before the end of this Congress.”

The letter noted that the cancer-causing toxicity of Red 3 is undeniable. The National Toxicology Program, the European Commission's Scientific Committee for Food, and the World Health Organization have all stated that petroleum-based food dye causes cancer in animals. California has said Red 3 causes neurobehavioral issues in children.

Zero Hedge is reporting that demand for raw milk has never been higher.

The rising demand comes against the backdrop of out-of-control Washington bureaucrats exploiting bird flu outbreaks in dairy herds to financially crush small farms, while ensuring that large-scale farms owned by mega corporations remain in control of the nation's food supply chain. 

The latest overreach in the war on raw milk comes as the U.S. Department of Agriculture ordered dairy farmers to work with the federal agency to test for bird flu. 

The new testing mandate gives the federal government yet another foothold in controlling the nation's milk supply and moves one step closer to banning raw milk, all under the guise of combating bird flu.

Canada’s Liberal government, led by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, has banned another 324 firearms and has said it will donate many of them to Ukraine to use in its fight with Russia.

The move follows the May 2020 ban of 1,500 makes and models of firearms, including the AR-15 and Ruger Mini-14. The number grew to more than 2,000 by November of this year as new firearm models were identified.

The federal government says it is working with provinces, territories and police on a planned buyback of prohibited weapons from individual owners. It has already run a pilot project on collecting banned firearms from businesses.

Time now for our nightly Worldview Report commentary.

According to a congressional report made public on Friday, the Biden-Harris administration has pressured banks to surveil the buying habits of their customers, especially the ones suspected of supporting Donald Trump.

Just the News reports that under the guise of identifying potential terrorists and money launderers, the FBI and Treasury Department sought help from 16,000 financial institutions. Something as innocent as purchasing tickets to conservative gatherings, buying Bibles or anything related to Trump or MAGA could throw you into a government dragnet and get you placed on a watchlist. 

The official X account for the Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government released its report on X along with the text: “Think your finances are private? Think again.”

In another post on X Friday, the panel wrote: “Without safeguards, this could lead to widespread abuse of power and debanking.”

Debanking is the phenomenon of a bank closing an account of a customer due to their political activity. Conservative filmmaker-podcaster-author Dinesh D’Souza told Just the News that JPMorgan Chase Bank debanked him two years ago. It also happened to Mike Lindell, the CEO of MyPillow and a conservative activist.

In response to this sinister trend, Christian Briggs, a long-time professional in precious metals is opening a first-of-its kind modern bank that will be based on the gold standard. He says spying and debanking will not be part of the equation.

Briggs is preparing to break new ground with his Gold Standard International Bank.

Briggs’ interest in precious metals began as a teenager when he turned his passion for collecting rare coins into a business, launching Briggs Numismatic, sometimes selling on consignment, sometimes taking ownership and selling at a profit. 

Early next year, Briggs will launch his gold-standard bank chartered in Barbados, where gold is considered cash. Part of the appeal is that his customers can be immune to the government snooping on their financial habits. 

Storage fees run from 38-45 basis points annually – $1 million in gold, for example, would cost $3,800 a year to store – and the bank would offer clients loans of up to 70 percent of the value of their stored assets at interest rates from 5.5 to 6.5 percent.

The hope is to launch branch-banking and offices stateside.

Minimum deposits will run around $500,000 and Briggs also sees governments worldwide as potential clients.

This is long overdue. And I hope other gold-backed banks will start to pop up to compete with this one.

Because there’s never a good reason for a government to spy on its citizens. And no country that puts up with that can be called free.
