In our top story tonight, we now have documented evidence that pandemic lockdowns, mask-wearing and other draconian government reactions that many have referred to as the "new normal" are destroying the minds of children, from infants to toddlers to adolescents.

Lockdown policies and mask mandates will create a generation of children who exhibit lower IQs and signs of social brain damage, according to a clinical psychiatrist for children and adolescents whose findings were reported by the website Resist the Mainstream.

Dr. Mark McDonald cited an Aug. 11 study by Brown University that found “children born during the pandemic have significantly reduced verbal, motor, and overall cognitive performance compared to children born pre-pandemic,” he said during an interview with host Cindy Drukier in a Dec. 25 episode of NTD’s The Nation Speaks. NTD is a sister media outlet of The Epoch Times.

The masks, “Zoom schools,” and lockdown mandates have led to “deprivation overall, of social contact, of not being able to see faces, being stuck at home all day, and this has actually caused brain damage to the youngsters,” says Dr. McDonald.

Professor Carl Heneghan, the director of Oxford University’s Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine, cited evidence that pandemic restrictions and the “fear we instill into children” has led directly to a decline in mental health among our nation's youngest citizens.

Heneghan cited his Oct. 2 study that concluded “eight out of 10 children and adolescents report worsening of behavior or any psychological symptoms or an increase in negative feelings due to the COVID-19 pandemic.”

“School closures contributed to increased anxiety, loneliness and stress; negative feelings due to COVID-19 increased with the duration of school closures,” the study reports. “Deteriorating mental health was found to be worse in females and older adolescents.”

Adolescents above the age of 12 also did worse than children under 12, as adolescents face increasing peer pressure, social pressure, and are more aware of messages being delivered globally, according to Heneghan.

“The first thing is to deescalate any fear and anxiety around COVID for children,” Heneghan said. “For children, COVID is actually a very safe disease” and children shouldn’t be worried about the impact of COVID “on themselves or their future health.”

Parents need to hear this message and protect their children from what some have likened to a cult in its ability to control the minds and actions of millions of adults, to the point where they are sacrificing the wellbeing of their own children.

Joe Biden brought tens of thousands of unvetted Afghan refugees to America, the vast majority of whom had no visas and the U.S. government had no way of even knowing who they are.

In a new article for Jihad Watch, writer Daniel Greenfield predicts this is just Phase 1 of a larger operation.

Since that first round of 50,000 Afghans arrived under cover of darkness in cities across America, the U.S. State Department and the Biden administration have been negotiating with the Taliban to bring more Afghans to America. We are sure the Taliban will send us their best.

The second phase of the Taliban's cast-offs will more than double the size of the first contingent of 50,000, Greenfield says, citing an article in the Wall Street Journal.

Approximately 62,000 Afghan interpreters and others who have applied for visas to seek refuge in the U.S. still remain in Afghanistan, a State Department official told the Journal.

About 33,000 Afghans, including principal applicants and their families, have already been cleared for immediate evacuation. This is the first time the State Department has provided a number on those left behind since the fall of the U.S.-backed government of Afghanistan.

Greenfield notes that some “conservatives,” including politicians such as GOP Gov. Brian Kemp of Georgia, are eager to welcome the Afghan refugees to their state or city.

"But as I’ve been writing for years, the vast majority of these people are not 'interpreters,' they were employed by the United States or some contractors associated with us in some capacity. And then all their kids and spouses and relatives have to come along too," Greenfield writes.

The State Department official said the remaining 29,000 visa applicants are in earlier stages of the application process. The figure doesn’t include their family members at this stage. The vetting steps aim to verify their employment history and check for connections to U.S.-designated terrorist groups.

But Greenfield concludes that there will be no real vetting conducted. "We know this because there was no vetting with the tens of thousands that the Biden administration already brought to America.

"Likewise, the vetting here will most likely involve running their names (or the names they’re providing) through a database to see if anything pops up."

If it doesn’t, they will have been “vetted”. Welcome to America, where we know from past experience they will demand and be awarded government-sponsored favoritism in schools, employment and the legal system – special privileges not afforded to Christians, Jews or any other religious group.

Israel is ramping up new restrictions on shoppers and school children in areas with high Covid infection rates, expanding its digital Green Pass system which bars the unvaccinated from many indoor spaces.

According to Israel National News, the Constitution, Law and Justice Committee of the Israeli Knesset approved the new restrictions, which had been adopted by the government’s Coronavirus Committee, for nine days, beginning at midnight between Sunday and Monday of this week.

The new rules restrict specified public spaces to the vaccinated or recovered, via the Green Pass system. They end in-person classes for school children in areas with high COVID infection rates, if less than 70 percent of the children in a given class are vaccinated.

Indoor shopping malls will now fall under the restrictions of the ‘Purple Pass’ system, limiting the number of people allowed inside to one for every 15 square meters of space.

Stores with more than 100 square meters of space, which are deemed 'non-essential’ will be required to operate under the Green Pass system. That means they are off limits to the unvaccinated and those without proof of a recent negative tests.

The "essential" venues exempted from the Green Pass system include stores selling personal hygiene items, stores which primarily sell eye glasses and contact lenses, pharmacies or stores which sell medical equipment, big-box retailers and grocery stores.

Indoor dining at malls and shopping centers will no longer be permitted, and takeaway purchases will only be permitted for those with a Green Pass.

It has become painfully clear for anyone with eyes to see that no amount of testing, masking and vaxxing is going to quell the outbreaks of coronaviruses.

One of the best test cases for this is luxury cruise lines.

To get on one, you must be fully vaxxed and wear a mask whenever inside with large groups. On top of your vaccination card, you must show a negative test before boarding.

One would think that if a haven for the vaccinated exists, a place where they cannot possibly come in contact with one of the unclean, it would be aboard one of these cruise lines.

And yet, as Free West media reports, finding safety among the "fully vaccinated" on one of these ships remains a pipe dream.

On the world’s largest cruise ship Symphony of the Seas, dozens of people tested positive for the Coronavirus during a recent trip. This despite all 6,091 passengers and crew having tested negative before the journey commenced and 95 percent on board had been fully vaccinated.

Royal Caribbean, the owner of the ship, told CNN that during the tour in the Caribbean, the virus inexplicably made its appearance.

On November 30, there was a Covid-19 outbreak on board the Artania even though the passengers and crew had been 100 percent vaccinated. The ship can accommodate up to 1,260 passengers and 537 crew. Three fully vaccinated people on the German cruise liner died from the virus.

On December 5, CBS reported on the Norwegian cruise ship Breakaway. There were 3,200 people on board and the vaccination rate was 100 percent. The ship owner, Norwegian Cruise Line, required all passengers and crew to be vaccinated. At least 10 people tested positive.

So let's be honest. No matter what you believe about the safety of the Covid shots, they cannot be called "effective."

Are the unvaxxed better informed than the vaxxed? A new study out of Germany says yes.

German political scientist Ulrike Guérot has demonstrated how opponents of the Covid injections are better informed, citing a study which analyzed the tweets of so-called "anti-vaxxers."

Guérot, political scientist at the University of Bonn, believes that mandatory vaccination is being introduced in Germany and Austria through the back door – allowing only those who are jabbed and recovered to take part in society.

“The pandemic has absolutely divided society, a sorting process is in progress: You only invite the people to your home for spaghetti and wine who are on the same page when it comes to Corona. In fact, I no longer have any Zero Covid friends, but surround myself with many people who, like me, are critical of the measures.

“Especially in public we no longer have any factual discussions at all," she continued. "The disparagement of lateral thinkers, people who should actually be welcome in a democracy, has meant that no one dares to express themselves as being critical of the Corona policy. This resulted in a completely closed ceiling of opinion: The measures are good – and whoever speaks against it is a ‘corona denier’ and on top of that, right-wing. This is a very dangerous development,” explained Guérot, a professor of European Politics and Co-Director of the Center Ernst Robert Curtius at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität in Bonn.

Does Fox have any fight?

The once ferocious Fox News looks more like a puppy dog submitting to New York Mayor Bill de Blasio's tyrannical vaccine mandates. And the mainstream media is loving it.

Employees at the New York City offices of Fox News will be required to prove that they have been jabbed with at least one experimental Covid shot before December 27, following a citywide order from de Blasio.

LifeSite News reports that the Fox Corporation, which owns and operates Fox News, notified employees via an internal memorandum on Friday that anyone working for the company and who is based in New York City will have to comply with de Blasio’s far-reaching COVID shot mandate, meaning that they must have received at least one experimental jab before December 27. There will no longer be an option to “test out” of the requirement.

Washington Post reporter Jeremy Barr tweeted details of the staff memo Monday, showing that just after Christmas “all workers in NYC who perform in-person work at an office location, including Fox employees, must show proof of receiving at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.”

On Christmas Eve, Dr. Scott Jensen, a physician who is also running for governor of Minnesota, released a video explaining how he has been targeted for the fifth time in the last 17 months by his state’s medical board, which is harassing him with baseless investigations that compromise the confidentiality of his patients.

The move by the state appears to be political in nature, and he believes it's designed to deter him from continuing to help his patients.

What are his crimes, you ask?

According to the state medical board, Jensen is “spreading misinformation”, not being vaccinated, recommending children not wear masks in school, “promoting natural immunity,” and prescribing Ivermectin,

What's worse, his faceless, nameless accusers are asking him to hand over the private medical records of his patients who have been given Ivermectin.

Dr. Jensen warns that this is a dangerous precedent, and could be the shape of things to come.

Dr. Anthony Fauci now wants everyone who refuses the Covid injections to be banned from air travel.

And he admitted in an interview with ABC This Week that mandating vaccinations for air travel has nothing to do with public health. It's just another way to REQUIRE people to get vaccinated, he said. In fact, he went even further, saying, quote, "ANYTHING that would get people more vaccinated would be welcomed."

So the air has finally been cleared. From the beginning of this pandemic, some warned that all roads were designed to lead to the new, experimental mRNA gene therapy injections. Oh, and about those masks onboard airplanes? Fauci says we should not even consider ever taking them off. Masks forever, he says, without offering a shred of evidence that they work.

Nikole Hannah-Jones, the co-founder of the controversial 1619 Project who once penned a racist screed describing white people as “bloodsuckers” and “barbaric animals,” expressed her inability to understand why American parents have a say in the material taught to their children in public schools.

Jones’ comments came on Sunday during an interview on Meet The Press, in response to the humiliating defeat of Democrat Terry McAuliffe in November’s Virginia gubernatorial race.

“Well, I would say the governor’s race in Virginia was decided based on the success of a right-wing propaganda campaign that told white parents that they needed to fight against their children being indoctrinated as race – as being called racists,” Jones said.

“And I don’t really understand this idea that parents should decide what’s being taught,” she continued.

“I’m not a professional educator,” said the woman who has claimed the United States’ “true founding” was in 1619 and whose articles are used for the basis of a history curriculum in public high schools across the country.

She then had the audacity to bash homeschoolers.

Increases in COVID-19 have been found to be totally unrelated to levels of vaccination across 68 countries and 2947 counties in the United States, according to a study released by the European Journal of Epidemiology.

Vaccines are the primary mitigation strategy to combat COVID-19 around the world, but can they be trusted to stop the spread?

Not at all, the study concludes.

The narrative coming from Joe Biden's White House is that the ongoing surge of new cases in the United States is driven by areas with low vaccination rates. The same narrative is pounded daily in almost every Western nation, from Germany to Austria to the UK and Australia and Canada. The unvaccinated are the problem all the world's leaders say.

Yet, just the opposite is true.

"Of the top 5 counties that have the highest percentage of population fully vaccinated (99.9–84.3%), the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) identifies 4 of them as “High” Transmission counties. Chattahoochee (Georgia), McKinley (New Mexico), and Arecibo (Puerto Rico) counties have above 90% of their population fully vaccinated with all three being classified as “High” transmission. Conversely, of the 57 counties that have been classified as “low” transmission counties by the CDC, 26.3% (15) have percentage of population fully vaccinated below 20%."

The study concludes that cities, counties and nations will never vaccinate themselves out of the pandemic.

"The sole reliance on vaccination as a primary strategy to mitigate COVID-19 and its adverse consequences needs to be re-examined, especially considering the Delta (B.1.617.2) variant and the likelihood of future variants. Other pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions may need to be put in place alongside increasing vaccination rates. Such course correction, especially with regards to the policy narrative, becomes paramount with emerging scientific evidence on real world effectiveness of the vaccines."
