Good evening and welcome to the Worldview Report.
Some 200 ballistic missiles were launched onto Israel on Tuesday night by Iran, The Jerusalem Post reports, leading to 1,800 rocket sirens sounding across the country.
In a statement given to Israeli media following the attack, the IDF vowed that it would strike forcefully across the Middle East on Tuesday night.
A Palestinian worker from Gaza was reportedly killed as a result of fragments of rockets that fell in the city of Jericho in the West Bank, according to Israeli media. US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said the administration was tracking the reported death of the Palestinian civilian in the West Bank.
Magen David Adom's CEO Eli Bin announced that there was a direct hit to a building in north Tel Aviv on George Wise Street. MDA confirmed that three people had been wounded by rocket fragments falling in Tel Aviv.
A strike also hit a home in Tel Sheva, according to Maariv. Further, a Chabad school in Gedera was hit directly, resulting in a crater and extensive damage to infrastructure, according to Israeli media.
The head of the school, which has 400 students, was quoted as saying, “Just to think that a few hours ago, there were hundreds of students there learning about Rosh Hashanah. A huge miracle happened to us."
Multiple other rocket falls were recorded in Tel Aviv and several other cities in Israel. Israeli air defenses shot down dozens of missiles that flew over Syria, the Syrian army sources told Reuters.
Video footage from KAN showed falling fragments of interceptors and missiles in the Dead Sea.

Ben Gurion Airport announced that all landings and takeoffs had been halted, and all trains were stopped. Planes that were in the air for landing made a U-turn. Airport activities later resumed on Tuesday evening. Jordan and Iraq have also closed their airspace.
Damage was caused to electricity infrastructure in parts of southern Israel following a rocket fall in Beersheba, The Israel Electric Company said Tuesday night.
Iran's Revolutionary Guards announced that the attack was in response to the assassination of Nasrallah, and if Israel responded, it would experience a decisive blow.
Iran also announced after the missile barrage that it’s “action was concluded” in Israel, signaling that it may be fearing the severity of the inevitable Israeli response.
Russia leader demanded that Israel immediately pull its troops out of Southern Lebanon as the Middle East appears poised to explode into a new theater of World War III. Ukraine is, of course, the other manor theater and Russia has been making huge advances on that front in recent weeks.

U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin is sending several thousand additional troops to the Middle East as tensions increase in the region.
According to Military.com, Tom Crosson, a Pentagon spokesperson, confirmed that Austin has ordered aircraft units preparing to leave the Middle East to remain in the region, while the units who were initially expected to replace them, comprised of a “few thousand” U.S. service members, will now join them.
The increase in U.S. Forces in the Middle East comes as Israel has launched strikes and limited operations in Lebanon over the past several days. The Pentagon’s announcement also comes after Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah was assassinated on Friday, according to Military.com.
Pentagon spokeswoman Sabrina Singh told reporters Monday that the secretary of defense has “increased the readiness of additional U.S. forces to deploy, elevating our preparedness to respond to various contingencies” and that the Defense Department “maintains robust and integrated air-defense capabilities across the Middle East, ensuring the protection of U.S. forces operating in the region.”
According to a Pentagon press release, Austin has ordered the USS Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group to remain in the Middle East region alongside the USS Wasp Amphibious Ready Group and Marine Expeditionary Unit.
In the press release, the Pentagon said “This afloat posture is complemented by DoD’s elevated fighter and attack squadron presence, including F-22, F-15E, F-16, and A-10 aircraft, and we will further reinforce our defensive air-support capabilities in the coming days.”
According to the Pentagon press release, Austin has warned that the United States will quickly respond to any harm inflicted by Iran against U.S. troops in the Middle East region.
The release states:
“Secretary Austin made clear that should Iran, its partners, or its proxies use this moment to target American personnel or interests in the region, the United States will take every necessary measure to defend our people. The United States retains the capability to deploy forces on short notice.”
In a Saturday statement on X, Austin said he spoke twice with Israeli Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant regarding the situation in Lebanon. The secretary of defense said he expressed his “full support for Israel’s right to defend itself and its people against Iranian backed terrorist groups.”
Austin added:
“I stressed that the United States is determined to prevent Iran and Iranian-backed partners and proxies from exploiting the situation or expanding the conflict. I made it clear that the United States remains postured to protect U.S. forces and facilities in the region and committed to the defense of Israel.”
National Guard troops from Indiana, South Dakota and several other states are also heading to the Middle East in what now threatens to be an all-out Middle East war.

A gang of criminal migrants has been arrested for looting residential homes in an area of Tennessee that was devastated by Hurricane Helene.
Authorities in Tennessee revealed they arrested eight migrants who were caught looting in flood-ravaged areas on Saturday.
Washington County Sheriff Keith Sexton announced on Facebook that deputies arrested eight men who were charged with burglary offenses.
Deputies with the Washington County Sheriff's Office arrested all eight men on Saturday, according to Sheriff Sexton.
Police say the men looted homes in one of the county's flood zones.

Three of the migrants were charged with burglary.
The other five were charged with aggravated burglary because they allegedly broke into occupied homes.
All eight men are migrant workers who are in the US legally with work visas, the sheriff's office confirmed to the New York Post on Monday.
The men were each being held in jail on $20,000 bonds and were scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
Tennessee was among a number of hard hit states by Helene, which dumped trillions of gallons of water on the South and the Midwest, washing out roads, knocking out power and cell service to millions of households. After several days of no power and no access to food and water, many people are still waiting to be rescued and this has become a true nightmare for the unprepared. Those who thought the federal government would come to their rescue, are finding out the hard way that the U.S. government cares more about Ukraine that its own people.

Three more pro-life activists were sentenced this week for their involvement in a 2021 abortion clinic blockade.
LifeNews reports that uthorities indicted a group of pro-life activists in October 2022 for their involvement in blocking the entrance of Carafem Health Center Clinic in 2021, which prevented an employee and a patient from accessing the facility. The court imposed a 16-month prison sentence on Chester Gallagher (pictured) Thursday for orchestrating the blockade in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, while Eva Edl received a three-year probation, according to The Associated Press.
Heather Idoni, already serving a two-year term for a similar offense in Washington, D.C., received an additional eight-month sentence on Friday, with U.S. District Judge Aleta Trauger ruling it could overlap her current imprisonment, the AP reported.
The court found both Gallagher and Idoni guilty of obstructing clinic access and conspiring against federal law, and they will face three years of supervised release after their prison terms.
Prosecutors attributed Gallagher’s leading role to his past law enforcement background, which they claimed he misused to extend the duration of the blockade, the AP reported.
Alongside a fellow defendant, Gallagher reportedly engaged in negotiations with law enforcement and complicated the efforts to clear the blockade that affected not only the Carafem clinic but also other medical facilities within the same building.
A Nashville jury convicted six pro-life activists involved in the blockade in January, including Gallagher, Idoni, Coleman Boyd, Cal Zastrow, Paul Vaughn and Dennis Green. Four more pro-life activists— Edl, Eva Zastrow, James Zastrow, and Paul Place, were convicted in April.

Last week, the United States Federal Emergency Management Agency announced a partnership with the National Football League to convert several stadiums into disaster shelters if a catastrophe occurs.
But part of the deal signed with the NFL is to also use the stadiums for “mass vaccination” events during a pandemic.
FEMA says the designated stadiums are considered a Mission Ready Venue per this new public-private partnership.
FEMA said in a press release that these designations “are for five-year increments with a yearly check-in to ensure continued readiness of the venue.”
The first stadium to sign-on was MetLife Stadium, home of the New York Giants and New York Jets. Several more were announced days after, including Lumen Field, home of the Seattle Seahawks; Acrisure Stadium, home of the Pittsburgh Steelers; Raymond James Stadium, home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles is also being considered.
FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell said in a statement:
“During large-scale emergencies, like the COVID-19 pandemic, hurricanes, or tornados, we’ve seen how large music, sports and entertainment venues can serve as a safe space for communities. This new strategy we’re launching with the NFL is a groundbreaking opportunity to help our partners use these venues for emergency response and recovery needs, while keeping communities safe and making them more resilient.”
The FEMA administrator added that,
“While we are starting with the NFL, all venues across sports organizations and leagues can become assets to their communities, and I encourage them to join in this collaborative effort as we grapple with the impacts of the climate crisis.”
FEMA Region 2 Administrator David Warrington also issued a statement in support of using large sports venues for disaster shelters.
FEMA went on to provide further details on how these stadiums will be used in a time of crisis, including “mass vaccination and testing,” among other things.

Former President Jimmy Carter turned 100 years old on Tuesday, reaching a longevity milestone no US president has ever achieved.
The occasion was marked by an outpouring of support for the centenarian, including birthday salutations from President Biden as well as former presidents George W. Bush, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, which were shared by the Carter Center Presidential Library.
The Atlanta-based presidential library also dropped its admission fee to $1 (100 cents) as a nod to its namesake.
Carter’s hometown of Plains, Georgia, threw its own party for the 39th president, complete with a concert and a flyover of Navy F-18 jets.
Born on October 1, 1924, the soft-spoken peanut farmer was elected president of the United States in 1976, facing headwinds at every turn including energy shortages, Cold War drama and the Iran hostage crisis during his tenure as commander-in-chief.
Iranian students mobbed the US embassy in Tehran, taking 52 Americans hostage and holding them captive for 444 days.
A failed 1980 rescue effort that led to the deaths of eight US service members kneecapped Carter’s credibility on national security matters heading into a bruising primary, where he faced a challenge from within his own party courtesy of the late Democratic Sen. Ted Kennedy.
Carter would ultimately lose by a landslide to Ronald Reagan, 44 states to 6, in one of the biggest margins of defeat in US election history.

Time now for our nightly Worldview Report commentary.
The war on free speech continues.
The Defender reports that Facebook provided the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention backdoor access to its platform so the CDC could submit requests to remove COVID-19 “misinformation,” according to an internal Facebook document made public for the first time as part of an ongoing legal case.
America First Legal filed a Freedom of Information Act request in 2021, after then-White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki revealed the Biden administration was flagging purported disinformation on social media platforms, including content posted by members of the so-called “Disinformation Dozen.”
When the Biden administration didn’t comply with the FOIA request, America First Legal sued, leading to the release of the documents as part of the discovery process.
According to Reclaim the Net, in 2021, Facebook developed a “Content Request System,” also called a “Government Reporting System,” accessible to CDC staff. The documents show Facebook “was operating as the de facto enforcement arm of the US government’s thought control initiative.”
The Facebook-CDC partnership helped Facebook remove millions of posts, the documents show.
Gene Hamilton, executive director of America First Legal, told The Defender, “These documents show precisely how one of the social media platforms facilitated the federal government’s engagement in unconstitutional censorship activities.”
Hamilton added:
“The federal government cannot violate the First Amendment by outsourcing censorship to the private sector, yet these documents clearly show that Facebook and the Biden-Harris administration collaborated and colluded on removing speech that did not comport with the federal government’s preferences.”
Tim Hinchliffe, editor of The Sociable, told The Defender that following the release of the “Twitter Files,” it should not come as a surprise “that the government has been actively trying to censor citizens through back doors and loopholes.”
Hinchcliffe said:
“This censorship effort is yet another example of a public-private collaboration that fuses corporation and state. Where the government can’t legally censor, it has the private sector to do its bidding. The question here is how much coercion was needed for Facebook to provide the backdoor?”
This is the mark of a totalitarian society when the government fears the people and cannot tolerate freedom of speech, freedom of the press, or the freedom to think independently.
Remember this next time the government accuses someone of what they like to call “disinformation.”
Because what this really shows is that our government fears the truth.
That does it for this edition of the Worldview Report. Thanks for watching and supporting this broadcast.
