According to the U.S. Civil Defense News account on X, Russian President Vladimir Putin has launched a massive attack in retaliation for the terrorist attack on a concert hall in suburban Moscow that killed 143 civilians and injured more than 100 others.

Sunday afternoon at about 4:30, U.S. Civil Defense posted:

“Now reports up to 26 - 28 Russian heavy bombers are in the air! Largest attack of the war!! Why does Ukraine allow NATO to place the blame on them alone?? Kiev and Lviv about to get hammered!!”

U.S. Civil Defense News posted a statement to X earlier that read:

“Russia Prepares to Launch Revenge Attack on Ukraine!!! Largest military strike in recent history about to happen!!”

The attack was being carried out with:

• 14 Tu-95MS, nuclear-capable bombers
• At least a dozen Tu-22M, light bombers
• And 13 MIG-31K, carrying hypersonic missiles

It does seem as though Putin believes Ukraine was somehow involved in the attack on Crocus City Hall and was going to make them pay.

After the attack on the concert hall, Putin named Ukraine as having “prepared a window” for the terrorists to escape through, and they were apprehended driving toward the Ukrainian border.

If Putin is convinced that Ukraine played a role in the savage attack on Russian civilians, this could escalate the war to a much higher and more dangerous level. The involvement of nuclear-capable bombers and hypersonic missiles certainly raises the stakes.

Putin seemed ready to take the gloves off even before the terror attack, as he changed the name of the conflict in Ukraine from a special military operation to a full-blown “War against NATO-proxy Ukraine” just a couple of days before the attack.

Earlier Saturday, NATO-backed Ukraine had launched a massive attack of its own, using British-supplied Storm Shadow missiles to hit the Russian-held Crimean Peninsula. Ukraine has also been striking Russian oil and gas refineries.

Vice President Kamala Harris rejected claims from Russian President Vladimir Putin, who allegedly attempted to blame Ukraine for the terrorist attack on a suburban Moscow concert hall that killed more than 130 people. 

While speaking with ABC’s Rachel Scott, Harris reiterated that ISIS was responsible for the shooting and subsequent bombing that led to an inferno at the Crocus City concert hall outside Moscow. On Sunday, Russia observed a national day of mourning, and the death toll is expected to increase.

“Vladimir Putin is already trying to link this to Ukraine and say that Ukraine is responsible. Does the U.S. have any evidence to back that up?” Scott asked during the interview, which aired on ABC’s “This Week” Sunday. 

Harris responded:

“No, there is not whatsoever any evidence. And in fact, what we know to be the case is that ISIS is actually, by all accounts, responsible for what happened.”

In an evening address after the attack, Putin referred to the shooting as “a bloody, barbaric terrorist act.” He said that Russian authorities captured four suspects on Saturday as they were attempting to flee the country to Ukraine.

Russian media broadcast videos that apparently showed the detention and interrogation of the suspects, including one who told the cameras he was approached by an unidentified assistant to an Islamic preacher via the Telegram messaging app and was paid $5,400 to take part in the attack.

On Sunday, ISIS released a video of the attack.

Two weeks before the attack, the U.S. embassy issued a warning to Americans to “avoid large gatherings,” including concerts, because of “imminent plans” for an attack by “extremists.”

The March 7 alert stated:

“The Embassy is monitoring reports that extremists have imminent plans to target large gatherings in Moscow, to include concerts, and U.S. citizens should be advised to avoid large gatherings over the next 48 hours.”

According to former CIA analyst Larry Johnson, the U.S. did not give the Russian government any further information.

Kamala Harris was busy over the weekend.

Besides going on Sunday news shows and appearing ultra-defensive about the Moscow terrorist attack, she announced on Saturday the creation of a new government office that will help states implement red flag laws, which are designed to strip Americans of their Second Amendment rights without due process of law.

She made the announcement at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, where the mass shooting of high school students occurred in 2018 in which 17 people died.

The goal of the National Extreme Risk Protection Order Resource Center will be to provide states with resources to put red flag laws into place. 

Red flag laws allow the state to temporarily remove a firearm from someone deemed to be a potential threat. No evidence is needed to prove that the targeted individual is a potential threat, and nearly anyone can anonymously rat out a friend, family member or neighbor as “potentially a threat” to themselves or others.

Harris called on the 29 states that don't have red flag laws to enact them, according to The Guardian.  

Congressman Thomas Massie stated in a social media post over the weekend that this new Federal Red Flag Center was launched within hours of Congress passing an omnibus $1.2 trillion budget bill that no one in Congress had time to read before voting on.

Rep. Marjory Taylor Greene posted a statement to X saying that this new office would empower Biden’s Justice Department to unleash a torrent of spying resources against America’s lawful gun owners.

Republican Rep. Thomas Massie appeared on Real America’s Voice to warn about a new U.S. Department of Agriculture plan to require U.S. farmers to chip all of their cattle. This would be the central bank digital currency for cattle, Massie said.

Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has launched a bid to oust Speaker Mike Johnson.

The Georgia lawmaker filed a motion to vacate the chair, the move used to kick Kevin McCarthy out, in fury over the $1.2 trillion bill to keep the government funded.

The bill funds border security for Jordan, not America, trans underwear for children, and lots of other bizarre earmarks.

Greene and conservative allies were furious the 1,000-page package was released in the middle of the night, with no time to read it before the vote.

She made the dramatic move just as the House voted to pass the bill and send it to the Senate before key government agencies ran out of money at midnight on Saturday.

With the House GOP's razor-thin majority, only two Republicans would need to support a motion to vacate for it to pass if all Democrats voted for it, like they did last time. 

But some have suggested they might vote to save Johnson, particularly if he agrees to put Ukraine aid on the floor.

It's not clear which, if any, Republicans would join Greene's bid to oust Johnson. 

Rep. Tim Burchett, R-Tenn., who opposed the spending bill and voted to oust Speaker McCarthy, told DailyMail.com he won't be voting for a motion to vacate Johnson. 

Burchett said, “That's just gonna hand the gavel over to Hakeem Jeffries if we do that.”

The 1,000-page spending package was the result of secret negotiations between Republican Speaker Mike Johnson, Democrat Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and White House officials.

Hardliners slammed the bill for having $2 billion in earmarks - funding for lawmaker's pet projects in their home districts - saying they are fiscally irresponsible.

The Post Millennial reports that earlier this month, a senior leader of the brutal MS-13 gang and one of the FBI's most wanted fugitives, Freddy Ivan Parada, was apprehended at the San Ysidro Port of Entry at the border of San Diego, California, and Mexico. 

According to Court Watch, the 48-year-old was caught on March 7 after being on the run for narco-terrorism charges for nearly four years. A detention order showed that he voluntarily waived his right to bail. 

Parada is accused of being a member of “Ranfla Nacional” which acts as a board of directors for the MS-13 gang. Prosecutors in the case allege that they “controlled the process for recruitment of new members and advancement to higher ranks” and murders for the organization are approved by it.  

An FBI wanted poster offered $10,000 for any information that led to Parada. The agency added, “He is alleged to be among the most senior leaders of MS-13 worldwide. Parada has been charged with several terrorism offenses for his alleged role in ordering numerous acts of violence against civilians, law enforcement, and rival gang members, as well as drug distribution and extortion schemes worldwide.” 

Since December 2020, the 48-year-old had been wanted in New York on charges of Conspiracy to Provide and Conceal Material Support and Resources to Terrorists, Conspiracy to Commit Acts of Terrorism Transcending National Boundaries, Conspiracy to Finance Terrorism, and Narco-Terrorism Conspiracy. 

Then U.S. Attorney Seth Ducharme said of the gang in 2021, “MS-13 is responsible for a wave of death and violence that has terrorized communities, leaving neighborhoods on Long Island and throughout the Eastern District of New York awash in bloodshed.”

In one week during March, thousands of pounds of meth were seized, hidden in shipments of vegetables.

At the Otay Mesa, California, cargo facility this month, U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers seized large quantities of methamphetamine hidden under packages of the vegetables.

In one instance, CBP officers stopped a 27-year-old man with a valid border crossing card driving a commercial tractor-trailer with a shipment manifested for peppers and tomatillos. At first glance, the shipment appeared to contain only vegetables.

But after a K-9 unit screened it, officers examined the trailer and found a box containing a crystal-like substance. Additional officers were called in to provide assistance and began extracting package after package hidden under the produce. They found 3,594 packages that were tested and identified as methamphetamine. The stash totaled 3,671 pounds.

The same week, CBP officers at the same facility uncovered another massive load of meth being smuggled in using carrots.

In both instances, the meth and commercial tractor-trailers were seized and the drivers were turned over to Homeland Security Investigations.

Also from the Post Millennial, two teenagers have been arrested in connection with the tragic death of Nadia Vitel, a 52-year-old woman who discovered them squatting in her deceased mother's apartment in New York City.

Vitel, who had traveled from Spain to clean out her late mother's apartment, found the teenage squatters living in the apartment. After Vital walked in on them, an altercation ensued, and Vitel was allegedly thrown by the teens into a sheetrock wall.
 

“We believe that some squatters took the apartment over and this woman came home… and walked in on the squatters that were there,” NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny said.

Later, when Vitel's son could not reach her, he sought assistance from the building superintendent, leading to the discovery of Vitel's body in a duffel bag in a closet. The New York medical examiner determined her death to be a homicide caused by blunt force trauma to the head. She also suffered multiple facial fractures, a brain bleed, and broken ribs.

Surveillance footage showed Vitel's movements in the apartment on March 10, followed by the teenagers entering shortly after. They were observed leaving on March 12 stealing Vitel's car.

According to NBC News, the two teenagers, aged 19 and 16, were identified after driving the stolen car to New Jersey where they eventually crashed. They were later apprehended by the U.S. Marshals Regional Fugitive Task Force in York, Pennsylvania.

The 19-year-old identified himself as Halley Tejada. According to the New York Police Department, the teenage girl initially gave false information to law enforcement about her age and name.

Receiving a blood transfusion from COVID-19-vaccinated individuals could pose a medical risk to unvaccinated recipients since numerous adverse events are being reported among vaccinated people worldwide, according to a recent study from Japan.

The preprint review, published on March 15, examined whether receiving blood from COVID-19-vaccinated individuals is safe or poses a health risk. 

The report said many nations have reported that mRNA vaccine usage has resulted in “post-vaccination thrombosis and subsequent cardiovascular damage, as well as a wide variety of diseases involving all organs and systems, including the nervous system.”

Repeated vaccinations can make people more vulnerable to COVID-19, it said.

The authors warn that if the blood contains spike proteins, it becomes necessary to remove these proteins prior to administration, and there is no such technology currently available.

Contrary to earlier expectations, genes and proteins from genetic vaccines have been found to persist in the blood of vaccine recipients for “prolonged periods of time.”

In addition, “a variety of adverse events resulting from genetic vaccines are now being reported worldwide.” This includes a wide range of diseases related to blood and blood vessels.

Some studies have reported that the spike protein in the mRNA vaccines is neurotoxic and capable of crossing the blood-brain barrier, the review stated. “Thus, there is no longer any doubt that the spike protein used as an antigen in genetic vaccines is itself toxic.”

Moreover, people who have taken multiple shots of mRNA vaccines can have several exposures to the same antigen within a short time, which may lead to them being “imprinted with a preferential immune response to that antigen.”

Given such concerns, medical professionals should be aware of the “various risks associated with blood transfusions using blood products derived from people who have suffered from long COVID and from genetic vaccine recipients, including those who have received mRNA vaccines.”

The impact of such genetic vaccines on blood products as well as the actual damage caused by them are currently unknown, the authors wrote.

Despite the Supreme Court voting in 2022 to overturn Roe Vs. Wade, and a number of Republican-dominated states cracking down on abortion rights, a new analysis finds that the rate of abortions has increased dramatically and reached its highest level in a decade.

The Guttmacher Institute issued a report last week on the findings from the Monthly Abortion Provision Study, which shows an estimated 1,026,690 abortions occurred in the U.S. healthcare system in 2023, the first full calendar year after the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization overturned Roe v. Wade.

This represents a rate of 15.7 abortions per 1,000 women of reproductive age, and is a 10% increase since 2020, the last year for which comprehensive estimates are available. It is also the highest number and rate measured in the United States in over a decade.

This increase demonstrates that people continue to seek and obtain abortion care despite the drastic reduction in abortion access in many states. Since the Dobbs decision, in 2022, 14 states have banned abortion with limited exceptions.

Seven states—Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Nebraska, North Carolina, South Carolina and Utah—have implemented laws that restrict abortion access on the basis of gestational duration. While access has decreased dramatically in states with bans, almost all other states have experienced massive increases in the number of abortions provided.

Time now for our Worldview Report commentary.

The escalation of the war between NATO and Russia is now taking place at such a rapid rate that even some mainstream publications are starting to ask, what would a decapitating nuclear first-strike on Washington, D.C., look like?

The New York Post described a scenario in which Putin launches a nuclear strike targeting the Pentagon.

The Post featured a scenario put forth by author Annie Jacobsen in her new book Nuclear War: A Scenario, as follows:

“A 1-megaton thermonuclear weapon detonation begins with a flash of light and heat so tremendous it is impossible for the human mind to comprehend. One hundred and eighty million degrees Fahrenheit is four or five times hotter than the temperature at the center of the sun.

“In the first fraction of a millisecond after the bomb strikes the Pentagon, there is light. Soft X-ray light with a very short wavelength. The light superheats the surrounding air to millions of degrees, creating a massive fireball that expands at millions of miles per hour. Within seconds, this fireball increases to a diameter of a little more than a mile, its light and heat so intense that concrete surfaces explode, metal objects melt or evaporate, stone shatters, humans instantaneously convert into combusting carbon. The five-story, five-sided structure and everything inside its 6.5 million square feet of office space explodes into superheated dust; all 27,000 Pentagon employees perishing instantly.

“Not a single thing in the fireball remains. Nothing. Ground zero is zeroed.”

The book goes on from there to describe the devastation of a nuclear firestorm that could extend as far as 100 square miles out from the initial blast site, although others put the blast zone at closer to 30 miles from the epicenter of the target. No one really knows for sure because a nuclear blast of this size has never occurred. Let’s hope it never does. But our leaders seem to be eager to test the limits of Putin’s patience. Over Ukraine, of all things. This is sheer insanity.
