Good evening and welcome to the Worldview Report.

The Wall Street Journal is reporting that local sheriffs around the country are mobilizing to help President-elect Donald Trump launch his promised mass-deportation of illegal aliens.

If Trump seriously wants to fulfill that promise, he will need the support of the sheriffs.

Men like Chuck Jenkins, the longtime Republican sheriff of Maryland’s Frederick County, say they are ready for the challenge.

Jenkins told the WSJ:

“I’m willing to support the president 100%. I want to do more, within the law.”

That prospect is reportedly spreading fear in immigrant communities, advocates told the Journal, and drawing mixed views from residents, legal and illegal, who might be impacted. 

But Jenkins, once dubbed among the nation’s 10 toughest immigration sheriffs by Fox News, sees Trump’s landslide election as a mandate for tougher immigration enforcement.

The journal notes that for local sheriffs who have long talked tough on immigration, their time has arrived.

Trump’s transition team is already pursuing new spaces they can repurpose into short-term detention centers near large, Democratic-run cities where most immigrants in the country illegally live. It is also weighing a broad mix of changes to give sheriffs more power, with rewards for jurisdictions that cooperate, and financial retribution against those in blue states and cities that hold out, according to people involved in the planning.

To leverage legions of deputies, the Trump’s team is aiming for a “historic” expansion of a federal program that gives sheriffs and other agencies certain ICE powers, said one person involved in transition planning. Under that program, known as 287(g) after the section of law that created it, the team aims to revive a dormant and controversial “task force model,” which until 2012 allowed officers from participating local agencies, during their routine duties, to question and arrest suspected noncitizens in the community on immigration violations.

Tom Homan, the administration’s incoming border czar and a longtime ICE official, favors the model because it leads to more frequent and visible arrests, which he believes could act as a deterrent to would-be migrants thinking of coming to the U.S.

Under one plan being considered, billions of federal dollars that currently reimburse nonprofits and cities for helping newly arrived migrants at the border would be redirected to local law-enforcement agencies that turn immigrants over to ICE, people involved in the planning told the Journal.

After weeks of speculation, President-elect Donald Trump announced on Saturday that he's picked Kash Patel to replace Christopher Wray as the head of the FBI.

Patel has been a longtime critic of the bureau. He’s accused it of using lawfare to further the interests of the deep state. He has also called for shutting down the agency's Washington headquarters, cleaning house when it comes to top leadership, and bringing the nation's law enforcement agencies to heel.

Patel has accused the FBI of creating a two-tiered justice system that goes looking for opportunities to prosecute conservatives at all levels, while ignoring the crimes of well-connected liberals.

Syria’s second largest city, Aleppo, fell over the holiday weekend into the hands of Turkish-backed jihadist factions that have been fighting with the country’s government for over a decade.

After years of stalemate, suddenly, seemingly out of nowhere, the jihadists started moving and taking large swaths of territory.

Some of the factions have also received aid from the U.S. government, which opposes the Russian-backed Syrian regime of Bashar al-Assad.

One day after entering Aleppo, rebels reportedly seized most of the city, pushed south toward Hama and captured much of Idlib province on Saturday in their surprise offensive launched on Thursday. Several other smaller towns and villages fell to the rebels on Sunday.

In reaction, the Russian Air Force bombarded rebel positions in Aleppo, the first time they’ve struck the city in any robust capacity in the better part of a decade. Meanwhile, there are unconfirmed reports of a coup attempt against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in the capital of Damascus.

Led by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, also called HTS, a U.S.-designated terrorist organization, this offensive is its first major attack against the regime in four years and comes as Iran’s top proxy force Hezbollah and Russia – Assad’s biggest backers – are embroiled in their own conflicts. 

Hezbollah, which supports the Assad regime, has been greatly degraded after open conflict with Israel and some Russian resources have been realigned away from Syria to fight in Ukraine.

Videos emerging on social media showed rebel fighters throughout Aleppo.

Assad on Saturday vowed to “defend [Syria’s] stability and territorial integrity in the face of all terrorists and their backers,” according to the BBC. “[The country] is capable, with the help of its allies and friends, of defeating and eliminating them, no matter how intense their terrorist attacks are,” his office quoted him as saying.

The War Zone reports that the U.S. military risks going into a potential major fight with China with insufficient stocks of Patriot surface-to-air interceptors and other key munitions.

Why?

A top U.S. military officer in the Pacific has warned that an over-commitment of these weapons to allies in the Middle East and Ukraine is to blame for the shortage.

America’s armed forces need to not only replenish that inventory, but grow it further, to be adequately prepared for a high-end scenario in the Pacific, especially a conflict over Taiwan.

U.S. Navy Admiral Samuel Paparo, head of U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, talked bluntly about his concerns at an open event at the Brookings Institution think tank in Washington, D.C., hosted on November 20.

At one point in the discussion, Paparo was asked whether ongoing fighting in Ukraine and in the Middle East were impacting U.S. military preparedness in his part of the world.

He answered:

“Up to this year, where most of the employment of weapons were really artillery pieces and short-range weapons, I had said not at all. But now, with some of the Patriots that have been employed, some of the air-to-air missiles that have been employed, it is now eating into [our] stocks. … and to say otherwise would be dishonest.”

Ukraine has received hundreds of Patriot surface-to-air missile systems and interceptors to go with them from the U.S. military and other Western partners. Patriots were also among the air and missile defense systems employed in the defense of Israel against Iranian attacks in April.

The U.S. military has supplied a variety of other air and missile defense capabilities to Ukraine since 2022. American forces have also expended significant numbers of surface-to-air and air-to-air munitions in operations to shield friendly warships and commercial shipping in and around the Red Sea from Houthi militants in Yemen, as well as while defending Israel.

A leading demographer has warned that the white British population may become a minority within 25 years if current immigration trends continue.

Leftist Prime Minister Keir Starmer shockingly declared last week that the open-borders experiment imposed on the country by conservative prime ministers has been an abject failure.

In an apparent confirmation of what many derided as a conspiracy theory, the notion of a Great Replacement agenda, Starmer said in a November 28 speech from Downing Street that previous conservative U.K. governments deliberately decided to liberalize immigration following Brexit to “turn Britain into a one-nation experiment in open borders.”

He added that:

“This happened by design, not accident. Policies were reformed… Global Britain – remember that slogan… That is what they meant. A policy with no support… Well, that’s unforgivable.” 

Breitbart ran a fact check of Starmer’s statement.  

Breitbart noted that while the prime minister was correct in noting that the Conservative governments of Boris Johnson and Rishi Sunak allowed in unprecedented levels of immigration by refusing to put an annual cap on immigration, resulting in nearly one million migrants arriving last year alone, the open borders agenda imposed on the country pre-dates Tory rule.

Under the leftist Labor government of former PM Tony Blair, immigration numbers began to soar from the tens of thousands per year into the hundreds of thousands per year. In 2009, former Blair advisor Andrew Neather claimed that this was a deliberate policy to transform Britain into a multicultural society and to “rub the right’s nose in diversity.”

How ironic that rather than reverse that policy, the U.K.’s supposedly right-of-center Tory Party doubled down on the same open-borders policy.

The Kremlin has communicated to the Biden administration that its forces will hit back in major attacks on Ukrainian targets each time Russia is hit with US-supplied missiles.

A Kremlin spokesman told reporters that President Putin “had warned that the authorization to use U.S. and other foreign-made missiles was an irresponsible and escalatory step. And if these missiles are used, there will be an appropriate response every time.”

This new warning came after Putin said Russia could hit decision-making centers in Kiev with the new intermediate-range hypersonic ballistic missile, the Oreshnik. 

This past week began with days of record-setting drone and missile attacks on Ukraine, chiefly targeting the country's energy infrastructure. This has left vast swathes of Ukraine without power, or else on a rolling blackout rationing system.

A Thursday overnight attack included 90 missiles and around 100 drones, according to Moscow's description.

Ukraine's Energy Minister has said the national power infrastructure was “under massive enemy attack.”

Emergency power outages have been confirmed in the regions of Kiev, Odesa, Dnipro and Donetsk, as daytime temperatures hover at around 32 degrees Fahrenheit.

Zero Hedge reports that while the war-weary U.S. and European populations have long ago lost their fascination with Ukraine's President Vladimir Zelensky, it is less common for the mainstream media to admit his star power has completely faded.

However, a fresh assessment in Britain's The Times newspaper details the extent to which there's been a general disenchantment with him both at home and abroad.

Amid steady Russian military gains in the east, and under pressure by Washington to drop the military enlistment age from 25 to 18 (which would be hugely unpopular among Ukrainians), if a presidential vote were held tomorrow Zelensky would very likely lose.

The Times writes:

“Just 16 percent would vote to re-elect him for a second term, according to an opinion poll of 1,200 Ukrainians published this week by the Social Monitoring Centre in Kyiv. The poll, the most comprehensive study of electoral preferences since the invasion began in 2022, also found that about 60 percent would prefer Zelensky not to even stand for re-election.”

The publication comments bluntly that the new poll shows “Zelensky’s popularity is fading” and the reality is “very few Ukrainians envision him as their next president.”

But of course, there will be no election because Zelensky has canceled elections indefinitely and is now serving as supreme leader of an authoritarian regime.

Zero Hedge notes that Zelensky himself is fully aware of his plummeting support, after having canceled scheduled elections last spring, and extending indefinitely the maintenance of martial law across the country which prevents a valid election from taking place.

The Biden-Harris administration has been promoting vasectomies for men but they’re unhappy that it’s mostly white men and well-educated men who opt for the sterilizing procedure.

They’re now funding a study, with millions in U.S. taxpayer dollars, to find out why more men of color and lower-income men won’t sterilize themselves.

University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine professor Dr. Sonya Borrero is receiving over $1.5 million from the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) to develop and assess the impact of a “patient-facing web-based decision aid to support high-quality vasectomy decisions.” 

The September 2023 NIH grant suggests a “vasectomy decision support tool” could help reduce poverty among black, Latino and low-income men as they are more likely to be involved in unwanted pregnancies.

Borrero's research initiative consists of the development of the so-called decision support tool, a 750-person study testing its effect on “the quality of vasectomy decision making,” and the identification of barriers that cause individuals not to get the procedure.

This is your tax dollars at work. It has attracted the attention of government waste czar Vivek Ramaswamy.

A veteran stage actor suddenly collapsed and died before hundreds of shocked audience members while performing in A Christmas Carol.

Sixty-year-old Julien Arnold was playing the roles of Marley, Mr. Fezziwig and Banjo during a Sunday evening production of Charles Dickens’ classic festive production at Citadel Theater in Edmonton, Canada, when he suffered a medical emergency.

Paramedics arrived around 8.28 pm but despite multiple resuscitation attempts, Arnold tragically could not be revived.

The cause of his death has not been revealed, according to the Sun.

Time now for our nightly Worldview Report commentary.

Natural News reports that the website GreenMedInfo is calling for an immediate end to all water fluoridation across the United States based on a trove of science showing that fluoridated water is highly toxic.

A quick search for the term “fluoride” in the GreenMedInfo science archives pulls up 136 diseases that exposure to fluoridated water can inflict on humans.

The first and most referenced health condition caused by fluoride is general fluoride toxicity, which can manifest with a variety of symptoms. One of them is a lowered or impaired IQ. 

Yes, fluoride makes people dumb.

Dental fluorosis is another common problem linked to fluoridated water. If you have ever seen someone whose teeth are stained with off-colored spots mixed in with their normal tooth color, that is dental fluorosis. 

What you are seeing, in fact, is damage to the teeth caused by fluoride chemicals rotting out the enamel, which is ironic considering the claim that drinking water must be fluoridated to protect people’s teeth from decay.

Prenatal exposure to fluoride is also a problem, according to science. Expectant mothers who are exposed to it have an increased risk of bearing children with fluoride toxicity, which includes things like learning disorders, cognitive damage and behavioral problems.

Prolonged exposure to fluoride is also linked to infertility in both males and females. Chronic inflammation is part of the cause of this, science shows, with fluoride causing testicular injury in males.

Shockingly, the EPA still recommends that all local water systems treat drinking water with fluoride.

The Trump administration needs to reverse this genocidal policy on day one.

Florida Surgeon General Dr. Ladipo, who Trump should have named as his surgeon general, recently announced that all Florida water systems must eliminate fluoride poisons from their water. 

You have to wonder why any state would be allowing this tragic poisoning to continue, other than the fact that these state and local entities are receiving federal funding that incentivizes the fluoride scam.

The ball is now in Trump’s court. We’ll see what he does with it.
