Good evening and welcome to the Worldview Report.

Leading off tonight, President-elect Donald Trump vowed Sunday to release all of the outstanding files on some of this nation’s high-profile assassinations.

Trump stated:

“As the first step toward restoring transparency and accountability to government, we will also reverse the over-classification of government documents.”

He added that:

“And in the coming days, we are going to make public remaining records relating to the assassinations of President John F. Kenedy, his brother Robert Kennedy, as well as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.”

After 471 days of Hamas captivity, three now former female hostages were finally released to Israel's military and taken to a specially assembled medical facility for an initial check before being taken on to Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba, where doctors will perform a more thorough examination on them, ahead of being reunited with their families.

The International Committee of the Red Cross – which has done nothing to attempt to visit these or any other hostages, even as it supposed to transfer medical supplies in late 2023, delivered the young women to the IDF and to the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet).

There was high drama and theater at the handover, as thousands of mostly Gazan men crowded the streets. Many were now fully decked out in their Hamas military fatigues, no longer in need of hiding out in tunnels and houses in their t-shirts, Adidas sweatpants and sandals.

The sight was indeed a galling one; for months the Western media has wanted to be hoodwinked about the levels of deprivation in the Strip, and here were thousands of people looking well-fed and with fully-charged cell phones, hardly the so-called victims of a supposed genocide.

Meanwhile, in Hostage Square in Tel Aviv, thousands of people thronged the space, watching in stunned disbelief as the first images of the girls – sitting in a van and surrounded by heavily armed men – emerged.

IDF Spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari, in a news conference, says former hostages Romi Gonen, Emily Damari, and Doron Steinbrecher “are now in safe hands. They are in our hands. They are coming home.”

Here is a video clip show the dramatic reuniting of one hostage and her family.

After briefly going dark for its 170 million American users, TikTok is back, and it’s thanking Donald Trump for the reprieve.

TikTok’s Chinese-owned parent company, ByteDance, said it restored the U.S. TikTok social-media platform based on Donald Trump saying he would extend by 90 days the period under which the platform can find a buyer.

The AP reports:

“Trump said he planned to issue the order to give TikTok’s China-based parent company more time to find an approved buyer before the popular video-sharing platform is subject to a permanent U.S. ban. He announced the move on his Truth Social account as millions of U.S. TikTok users awoke to discover they could no longer access the TikTok app or platform.”

Google and Apple removed the app from their digital stores to comply with the law, which required them to do so if TikTok parent company ByteDance didn’t sell its U.S. operation by Sunday. The law, which passed with wide bipartisan support in April, allowed for steep fines for non-compliance.

The Chinese Communist Party controls TikTok, and it can gather much information on Americans via the app.

But the bill is vague and could be applied to other foreign-based apps, including more free-speech oriented ones like Telegram. The concern of some such as Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky is the law will also be misused against U.S. apps.

Senator Paul is worried about the idea of banning speech. He said he joined TikTok Saturday as a form of civil disobedience.

Vivek Ramaswamy will reportedly depart DOGE “amid friction with staff,” according to CBS News.

As some have pointed out, DOGE has no staff, other than Ramaswamy and Elon Musk.

One person close to Trump was quoted by CBS as saying, “Vivek has worn out his welcome,” which apparently means he was not getting along with Musk.

Donald Trump and others have been trying to create new opportunities for Ramaswamy, like pressing Ohio Governor Mike DeWine to name him to fill JD Vance’s empty Senate seat.

DeWine instead picked his RINO lieutenant governor, Jon Husted, to replace Vance. So, it remains up in the air where Ramaswamy will land.

Two Iranian supreme court judges were fatally shot in an alleged assassination in Tehran.

Ali Razini and Mohammad Moghiseh were shot dead after a gunman entered the court and opened fire on Saturday morning.

The court's news website said the gunman killed himself while running away from the scene.

A bodyguard was reportedly injured during the shooting.

The motive behind the attack has not yet been determined.

The BBC reported that the two judges have been part of the Islamic regime’s crackdown on opposition voices since the 1980s.

Reclaim the Net reports that Clearview AI faces a major roadblock as a Canadian court has upheld a ban on its unauthorized collection of facial data from Canadian citizens.

Facial recognition company Clearview AI suffered the legal setback when the Supreme Court of British Columbia decided to throw out the company’s petition aimed at cancelling an Information and Privacy Commissioner’s order.

The order aims to prevent Clearview AI from collecting facial biometric data for biometric comparison in the province without the consent of the targeted individual.

The controversial company markets itself as “an investigative platform” that helps law enforcement identify suspects, witnesses, and victims.

Privacy advocates critical of Clearview AI’s activities, however, see it as a major component in the rapidly expanding facial-surveillance industry, stressing in particular the need to obtain consent – via opt-ins – before people’s facial biometrics can be collected and stored in a database.

Clearview AI is said to be subjecting billions of people to this, without consent. From there, the implications for privacy, free speech, and even data security are self-evident, critics charge.

The British Columbia Commissioner appears to have been thinking along the same lines when he issued the order, which bans Clearview from selling biometric facial scans to its clients that are taken from non-consenting individuals.

The order also instructs Clearview to “make best efforts” to stop the practice in place so far, which includes collection, use, and disclosure of personal data, but it also must delete the biometric data already in the company’s possession.

Right now, there is no time limit to how long Clearview can retain the data, which it collects from the internet using an automated “image crawler.”

Clearview moved to try to get the order dismissed as “unreasonable,” arguing that on the one hand, it is unable to tell if an image of a person’s face is that of a Canadian, while also claiming that no Canadian law is broken since this biometric information is available online publicly.

The legal battle, however, revealed that images of faces of residents of British Columbia, children included, are among Clearview’s database of more than 3 billion photos (of Canadians), while the total figure is over 50 billion, including millions in the United States.

The Wall Street Journal reports that:

“Two vaccine skeptics who had been advising Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. as he prepares to become health secretary have been sidelined by Trump transition officials, people familiar with the matter said, underscoring a split over immunizations in the Make America Healthy Again movement.”

Adviser Stefanie Spear and lawyer Aaron Siri had asked prospective administration hires about their beliefs regarding vaccines, people familiar with the interviews told the WSJ.

Kennedy, whose hearings to lead the Department of Health and Human Services could start on Capitol Hill as early as next week, has also asked questions related to vaccines, the sources told the Journal.

The questions were different from those asked in separate meetings with President-elect Donald Trump’s staff, according to some of the people. Trump’s team asked about topics traditionally important to conservatives, such as the size of government and deregulation.

Siri is no longer advising the presidential transition, a transition spokeswoman confirmed, and people familiar with the matter told the WSJ that his vaccine stances played a role. Spear, who had told others she would be Kennedy’s chief of staff, was passed over for that post in favor of a veteran of the first Trump administration, in part because of her vaccine priorities and in part because of her lack of experience, according to people familiar with the matter.

The Daily Mail reports that photos have emerged of the mother and father accused of trying to strangle their teenage daughter in an alleged Islamic honor killing outside her school in Washington state.

Ihsan Ali, 44, and his wife Zahraa Subhi Mohsin Ali, 40, were charged with attempted murder, attempted kidnapping, and assault after the attack on October 18.

Their 17-year-old daughter, who was not named, ran away from home to Timberline High School in Lacey, Washington, after her parents tried to put her on a plane to Iraq.

The girl told police that her father had recently been threatening her with honor killing for refusing an arranged marriage with an older man in Iraq, according to court documents.

Shocking video allegedly showed the man on the ground with his daughter in a chokehold outside the school, while classmates desperately tried to free her.

Despite a classmate filming part of the attack, no photos of the couple emerged until more than two months later as their social media was quickly wiped.

The Thurston County Sheriff's Office, which runs the jail where they are behind bars, refused to release mugshots of the jailed parents, citing state law.

However, a photo obtained by DailyMail.com shows Ihsan sitting on his couch wearing a gray hoodie and smiling at the camera like a normal suburban dad.

But the truth is allegedly far more sinister, a tale of a man who, when he discovered his daughter was dating an American boy, tried to pack her off to Iraq for an arranged marriage, then almost killed her when she fled.

After brave teens fought the father off, his wife allegedly tried to finish the job but was stopped by the girl's 16-year-old boyfriend and classmates.

Slay News reports that leading experts in Japan are sounding the alarm after uncovering evidence of a staggering surge in heart failure among citizens who received Covid mRNA injections.

Japan’s top scientists discovered that the risk of heart failure surges by up to 4,900% after a person receives a Covid mRNA injection.

The explosive discovery was made by a team of Japanese researchers from the Division of Pharmacodynamics at Keio University Faculty of Pharmacy and Yokohama General Hospital.

The research team, led by Professor Keisuke Takada, found that the risk of myocarditis is 20-50 times greater after receiving the shot.

They calculated reporting odds ratios (RORs) and 95% confidence intervals for the association between the vaccines and myocarditis and pericarditis based on data from the Japanese government’s vaccine adverse event database.

Myocarditis and pericarditis are both forms of inflammation in the heart.

The conditions restrict the heart’s ability to pump blood throughout the body and can cause blood clots, strokes, cardiac arrest, and ultimately, sudden death.

Both myocarditis and pericarditis are known side effects of Covid mRNA shots.

The team analyzed the official data for April 2004 to December 2023.

Time now for our nightly Worldview Report commentary.

Los Angeles is bracing itself for more catastrophic wildfires this week as weather forecasters predict the return of gusting Santa Ana winds of up to 100 miles per hour.

More than 27 people have died and 22,000 buildings have burned in at least six fires since the first fire erupted on January 7.

Calm skies have allowed firefighters to get several of the infernos, including the most destructive blaze in Pacific Palisades, under control in recent days.

Evacuees have been allowed to return home to collect medicines and any possessions which may have survived.

But Saturday night, a fire weather watch for most of Los Angeles and surrounding counties for Monday through Wednesday of this week was issued.

A spokesman said: “We anticipate another major event as the Santa Ana winds pick up this weekend bringing with them critical fire hazard danger. Some areas could see wind gusts of 80mph and higher, possibly up to 100mph. We are in extreme fire danger. The winds are expected to start tonight (Sunday) and peak on Wednesday.”

There is no chance of desperately needed rainfall in the area which has seen hundreds of people lose their homes, including celebrities like Paris HiltonMel Gibson and Billy Crystal.

Just like the victims of Hurricane Helene in Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee, the people of Maui, and those in East Palestine, Ohio, the people in LA are in danger of being forgotten. Even as the fires rage on, the news coverage will fade from the front pages to the back pages.

People in North Carolina are still living in tents in under sub-freezing temperatures. FEMA is long gone. And people in East Palestine are still suffering from health problems related to the train derailment and chemical gas spill there nearly two years ago.

Unlike Joe Biden, I hope Donald Trump will be a president for all the people, not just those who reside in districts that voted for him.

If FEMA can’t be retrained and reformed, it needs to be shut down. The same goes for the ATF, IRS, FBI, CIA, HUD, Department of Education and so many other federal agencies.

That does it for this edition of the Worldview Report. Thanks for tuning in and supporting this broadcast.

Until next time…
