One of the most pervasive masking terms these days for cultural Marxism is political correctness. Political correctness is all about creating chaos through destroying the American family, replacing the role of the father with the role of the State, normalizing sexual perversion, victimizing minorities and the poor, and ridiculing traditional morals and virtues that stem from Christianity. The PC crowd uses this chaos to justify an all-powerful, intrusive government that robs you of your freedoms.
Although people regularly joke about political correctness, losing your freedom of religion, freedom of speech, property rights, and parental authority is no laughing matter. Thought control is not funny, and many Christians already have been prosecuted under hate-crime laws for sharing the gospel and for publicly speaking out against homosexuality.
Alvin Schmidt describes the government-control agenda behind political correctness:
[quote] The idea behind political correctness is the notion of oppression. Women, blacks, Hispanics, and homosexuals are viewed as oppressed minorities due to the influence of Christianity and capitalism, bringing about the need for a revolution to overthrow their white, male, heterosexual, Euro-centric oppressors. [end quote]
And in his research paper “Political Correctness in Higher Education,” T. Kenneth Cribb, Jr, outlines the problem among us:
[quote] Perhaps the most disturbing aspect of the Politically Correct assault on the curriculum is that it has occurred at many of America’s elite universities. Take, for example, the case of Stanford University, an institution that has long played a leadership role in American higher education. Stanford eliminated its long-standing Western civilization requirement in 1988 and replaced it with a multicultural program known as “Cultures, Ideas, and Values.” Under this new program, freshman at Stanford can just as easily study Marxist revolutionaries in Central America as they can Plato, Shakespeare or Newton.
Because elite institutions such as Stanford set an example for the rest of American higher education, other universities eagerly adopt these devastating assaults on the curriculum. This “trickle-down” effect will have a long-lasting impact on the way future generations of Americans will be educated. One distinguished scholar recently lamented that “higher education is increasingly about acquiring attitudes and opinions that one puts on like a uniform.” [end quote]
Nearly 30 years ago, U.S. News and World Report noted that there were, even then, 10,000 Marxist professors teaching at America’s colleges and universities. Tracking a growing trend, Georgie Anne Geyer, writing in a 1989 Denver Post article, reported that “the percentage of Marxist faculty numbers can range from an estimated 90 percent in some Midwestern universities.” In 1987, Herbert London, writing in “Marxism Thriving on American Campuses,” says:
[quote] The strides made by Marxism at American universities in the last two decades are breathtaking…. Every discipline has been affected by its preachment and almost every faculty now counts among its members a resident Marxist scholar. [end quote]
The way to combat political correctness is to expose it for the Marxism it really is. Equally important in defeating this anti-Christian, anti-American worldview, is to not comply with its mandates. Call homosexuality what it is—sin. Expose feminism as being anti-family and anti-father. Show tolerance as moral relativism and intolerance toward those who don’t conform to the dictates of tolerance. Reveal sensitivity training as an attempt to destroy freedom of speech and freedom of religion. Point out the impact that cultural Marxism has had and is having on American faith, families, and freedoms.
William Lind accurately describes how we have allowed this worldview to destroy America by failing to follow and teach a biblical worldview to the next generation:
[quote] In the United States of America our traditional Western, Judeo-Christian culture is collapsing. It is not collapsing because it failed. On the contrary, it has given us the freest and most prosperous society in human history. Rather, it is collapsing because we are abandoning it. [end quote]
By eradicating Christianity, not only will the family fall and the church become impotent, but capitalism and the free enterprise system that were birthed out of the Protestant Reformation will be destroyed.
This, of course, is the ultimate goal of cultural Marxism, to destroy Christianity in all areas of American life: law, science, economics, history, family, social issues, and education. Elimination of the Christian worldview from the culture will create the desired chaos. Once the disarray has reached a fevered pitch, the public will call for government to solve the problem. People will accept socialism and the outright rejection of the U.S. Constitution and our other founding documents. Then cultural Marxists will have accomplished the full transition from cultural Marxism to traditional Marxism—socialism—and the economic philosophy of Karl Marx.
So Where Do We Stand Now?
Perhaps one of the most disturbing things about the cultural Marxists and their coalition of victims is that they have set up conservative Americans, Bible-believing Christians, and conservative and capitalist Jews for persecution.
At the end of the day, Satan’s foremost enemies are Christians and Jews. Christians make up God’s bride, the church, and Satan hates her, and our Savior Jesus Christ was born through the Jews. Jewish men, led by the Holy Spirit, wrote the Old and New Testaments. Conservative Americans and Christians have been, and continue to be, the biggest defenders of the Jewish state of Israel, and while we do not agree with everything the state of Israel does, we do support the existence and security of the Jewish people in their homeland. We also understand that Jewish people will come to Messiah in huge numbers during the Tribulation in fulfillment of Bible prophecy and the promises to the Jewish people in the millennial kingdom.
Thus, if Satan can destroy the Jewish people, God’s promises are not fulfilled to the Jewish people, and God is made out to be a liar. Satan wins. That’s why the Jews are always on Satan’s extermination list. Sadly, many so-called Christians have bought into antisemitism that, at its foundation, is demonic.
Many ministers supporting cultural Marxism are doing the work of Satan, whether they know it or not. For instance, they aid in antisemitism by their twisting of Scripture when they declare that God has no future plan for the Jewish people and that, in fact, the church has replaced Israel. This heresy, known as replacement theology, goes well with Marxianity which, at its core, is antisemitic and demonic. The more extreme neo-Calvinists we have discussed in this book embrace replacement theology.
Patriotic conservatives, conservative Christians and conservative Jews are being set up for persecution through a five-step plan:
1. Identify
2. Marginalize
3. Vilify
4. Legalize
5. Normalize
The same people are being identified as the source of all suffering and oppression because we are capitalists and because we support a constitutional republic built largely on a Judeo-Christian worldview. One group actively advancing this five-step plan is the Southern Poverty Law Center.
As I recounted earlier in this book, the SPLC (along with the Gamaliel Network) is documented to have aided Islamic Jihadis and Marxists in shutting down four out of five of our Worldview Weekends in April of 2018. Nationally recognized columnist, Jim Simpson, wrote about what happened to us both at americanthinker.com and dailycaller.com. In his Daily Caller article Simpson wrote:
[quote] Antifa groups used information from the Southern Poverty Law Center to successfully shut down four conferences on the threat of Islam scheduled in Wisconsin and Minnesota last weekend.
The hotels slated for the events were flooded with threatening calls, and the organizers voluntarily canceled one of the events following numerous warnings that it would not be safe. A fifth conference in Des Moines, Iowa carried on in defiance, despite leftists showing up to disrupt the proceedings.
The conferences were hosted by Worldview Weekend a conservative Christian organization that produces radio and TV shows and sponsors events nationwide. The SPLC posted the locations for these venues, after which Antifa groups urged their members through social media to attend events and swamp the venues with threatening calls and messages.
According to Worldview CEO Brannon Howse, a state trooper even visited the Minneapolis hotel where an event was planned for Sunday. He said the police were concerned about conference security and the organizer should add more police. With the financial losses from other canceled events, Howse said they could not afford to provide more security than those already hired and cancelled that last event out of safety concerns.
The conferences sought to expose how leftists supported by George Soros, the John Templeton Foundation and other donors are intimidating America into silence by labeling anyone who exposes them as “racists,” “Islamophobes” and “white supremacists.” [end quote]
Simpson went on to report that:
[quote] According to Howse, a combined total of at least 3,500 people had registered for the four canceled events: more than 1,500 in Minneapolis and another 2,500 in the three Wisconsin sites. The cancellation of these events cost well over $60,000, Howse said.
“And that doesn’t include lost ad revenues and other opportunity costs,” he told the DC. “We promoted these events for the past six months, including 40,000 mailings in December and another 40,000 in January, and used up valuable staff time that could have been spent on other endeavors. [end quote]
Jim Simpson has spent years studying the SPLC, and in a special report, he reveals that the SPLC has clearly picked its target and is seeking to vilify, marginalize, and destroy it. In a spring 2018 report, Simpson unmasks the worldview and ultimate goal of the Southern Poverty Law Center:
[quote] Since the election of Donald Trump as 45th president of the United States, the leftist underground has surfaced in an unprecedented, full-throated effort to neutralize his historic victory. This underground includes violent communist, socialist, and anarchist street thugs from groups like Refuse Fascism (the Revolutionary Communist Party), Antifa (anarchists and anarcho-syndicalists) and Black Lives Matter (socialists). But it also includes many Democrat politicians, judges, and bureaucrats at all levels of government, for example judges essentially governing from the bench with unconstitutional restraint orders, elected officials erecting sanctuary policies in direct defiance of the federal government, and media willing to give them all rhetorical cover.
Running interference are groups like the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), who have joined the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) in an unholy alliance to attack and silence the Left’s critics. This war on speech has been going on for a long time, but over the past 17 months has reached a fever pitch. While we see Islamic terrorist attacks on Western targets almost daily now, CAIR literally threatens venues, organizers, and speakers who discuss the threats from Islamic terrorism and the Islamic supremacy doctrine of Shariah.
And while CAIR goes on the warpath, the SPLC assists by labeling individuals and groups “bigots,” “racists,” “xenophobes,” “Islamophobes,” “white nationalists,” and “haters.” [end quote]
Simpson points out in his article that on the November 29, 2010 broadcast of NBC’s Hardball with Chris Matthews, Southern Poverty Law Center spokesman Mark Potok admitted:
[quote] Well, let me say for starters that . . . when we name groups “hate groups,” that has nothing to do with any allegation of criminality or some kind of measure of expected violence. It’s purely about ideology. [end quote]
Mr. Potok further articulated the ultimate goal of the SPLC when he said:
[quote] Sometimes the press will describe us as monitoring hate crimes and so on … I want to say plainly that our aim in life is to destroy these groups, to completely destroy them.” [end quote]
The cultural Marxists have picked their target. They seek to marginalize and vilify the target until they can legalize the persecution of the target. This will lead to the final stage of normalizing the open persecution of and violence toward the targeted group.
If you doubt me, then you have not learned from history and we are doomed to repeat it right here in America. So, unless you desire to live in a country where the middle class has been eliminated—most will live in a socialistically enforced poverty of equals while a few remain wealthy—and where we are under the tyrannical thumb of a small group of cultural elitists who control every aspect of your life, then you had better speak up. Nothing is more powerful than the truth, nothing scares the elitists more than their worldview and agenda being exposed for what it really seeks to accomplish, nothing would be more likely to make the faculty of the Frankfurt School turn over in their graves, and nothing will do more to turn the tide of Marxianity.
