Tina Peters on Political Prosecutions For Obeying the Law

Brannon Howse: All right. Joining me now is Tina Peters. Last week she sent me this right here, former Mesa County elections manager sentenced to jail. I saw that picture. I saw that yellow shirt. And I have to tell you, this made me very sad, very sad. And you'll find out why. Tina, welcome back to the broadcast. Thanks for joining us.

Tina Peters: Thank you, Brannon. You know, what they're doing here is so criminal. This is a DA that has let people go with 26 pounds of fentanyl in the last two weeks, and let them go out on probation. And then they ended up skipping to Mexico. But for me, a $500,000 cash bond that we got reduced and I had to put up my house and a restriction on traveling for the last year outside of the state of Colorado. Now, what they've done to my chief deputy and my election manager is so beyond egregious. So when in August, of course, there was a raid while I was at the symposium, and then they papered up the windows, not allowing my chief deputy to see what they were doing. A week later, they took this equipment out. Supposedly it is in protective custody, but it's in the care of this DA that is coming at me voraciously. And as you see from my election manager and my chief deputy, they're also going after them now. So August, the raid, and September brought out the first Mesa County report number one, which is on my website. TinaPetersforColorado.com that you see there. And October brought out the second report and then November 16th myself and Sandra, who is the subject tonight, my chief deputy, and another person were raided. So Sandra, when she was raided on November 16th, her daughter was made to stand out on the front porch in her underwear at, I believe it was like 6:00 in the morning when they were raided. It was early in the morning, November 16th. This is the same DA that put her father and stepfather on two different charges, putting them in prison for decades for molesting this child from the age of four. Now she was 16 as of November 16th, 2021, which made her stand out, knowing on the front porch in her underwear while they raided her house, knowing what this would do to her.

Brannon Howse: Wait a minute. I'll make sure I understand. You're saying this 16-year-old that was dragged out in broad daylight onto the porch and nothing but her underclothes? The courts know that she was molested as a child.

Tina Peters: Oh, yeah. The same DA that was responsible for this raid with the FBI. The local FBI knew. He's the one that put these two men in prison. So this is so while they're raiding her house because of her mother, Sandra Brown, they're making her stand out on the front porch in her underwear. So now we fast forward to a few months later where they've taken over my office. They've kicked me out as a designated election official from my election department on trumped-up charges that I had committed election fraud. Isn't that funny how they accuse others of the exact same they're doing and then fired her? When she asked why she was being fired. She wanted to have an attorney there. They said we want you to tell us why you think you shouldn't be fired. So unlawfully the only person that can hire and fire people in my office as an elected official is me. But they brought in these criminals, Wayne Williams and the person that was my predecessor who actually did the test for Dominion equipment, the pilot test for Mesa County. They brought them in to run my department, then kicked me out of my office, which is unlawful.

Tina Peters: Jenna Griswold when I wouldn't sign this memorandum that basically said I will recount, recant, and repudiate what I've said on Facebook live about the machines need to be more transparent to the people. She took it to a judge and said, See, she's going to break the law again, she said. and the judge took me out of office, which is against the law. The only way you can remove an elected official is by a recall. So she subverted the law, then fired Sandra Brown on her birthday, July 17th, I believe it was. Well, the day before her birthday was arrested and put in jail. Spent her birthday, and they know her date of birth, put her in jail on her birthday. Now, here we come up to today. Sandra Brown was put into jail for 30 days and the judge told Brown that he can yank this sentence and impose a far longer one if she does not comply with her promise to testify against Peters.

Brannon Howse: So does this not sound like what they did to Roger Stone at the federal level? We're going to send you away forever, Roger Stone, unless you lie and tell us something bad about Donald Trump.

Tina Peters: Exactly. This is exactly the same, the same situation and this same district attorney just let a guy go, a double murderer, out of prison. This is going on in Mesa County. And, you know, the feds, they subsidize or they send money to the local DAs. Merrick Garland has been involved in this since the very beginning. And here I am, a whistle-blower who identified Ginebra's wall and the Secretary of State and Dominion overseeing her employee, deleted 29,000 vital election records which show their access and audit logs, which by law must be retained. That shows who went in and out of the system. What they did. All were deleted, 29,000 of them required by law. It's federally to be kept for 22 months. And in the state of Colorado, 25 months. Not only that, the second report, Mesa County Report, showed that there were 36 wireless devices the whole time they influenced me, telling me that these machines could not connect to the Internet. They were what they called air-gapped. You won't find that word anymore. But I have it preserved. They were air-gapped. They had no capability of being connected to the Internet. Now they're backing away from that, saying, well, yes, they can be connected to the Internet. But we asked the clerks to make sure it's turned off. I never even knew there were secret passwords. That the radical Democrat secretary of state that speaks out on all kinds of issues, not related to the secretary of state's office, even had passwords to my department. So here they are. They're they've already pressured my chief deputy to testify against me. Now they're pressuring my election manager, and I'd always told both of them, I said, tell the truth, because we would have to lie to give them what they want, Brannon. And so they are pressuring her to lie. Evidently about me. And if she doesn't, they can, quote, yank this sentence, and impose a far larger one if she does not comply.

Brannon Howse: I want to make sure I understand this report says prosecutors accused her, meaning Mrs. Brown, of helping former county clerk Tina Peters make copies of election computer hard drives in 2021. Weren't you mandated by the law to make copies and back all that up?

Tina Peters: That's right. That is not a crime, as a matter of fact.

Brannon Howse: So how is she in jail then? How is she in jail? Because you're saying she didn't commit a crime, but that's what they're charging her with. So how is that a crime?

Tina Peters: It's not. So here's the thing is, it is not a crime. And as a matter of fact, they told us to back up our systems. They just didn't like the way that I backed it up. I did a complete backup, which exposed what they had done. So that's the problem with this. And if this had been a crime, what I had done, they wouldn't have had to pass Senate Bill 22153, which made it illegal to make an image so so so they realize, oops, uh oh, you know, we better make this illegal so nobody else does this and finds out what we can do to these systems.

Brannon Howse: All right. Well, pray for Mrs. Brown. So you're saying she's in jail now for 30 days, and that's if they don't yank it and make it longer.

Tina Peters: 30 days and a two-year probation. So, you know, I'll go to trial before that, two years. So if for some reason she doesn't deliver with whatever they want her to say and just and know this to the guy that testified at the grand jury, the reason that I have these indictments against me, his story is totally different than what everybody else knows. And his attorney, unbeknownst to us, was the same attorney that the DA Rubenstein went to law school with and had breakfast with every day. So you know that the scare tactics, you know, we're going to throw you in jail for 30 years if you don't do. And this is what they do. So I just want to do a shout-out, though, Brannon, real quick. I want everybody that has time, talent, and resources. I want you to reach out to the Lindell Legal Offense Fund. I want you to go on frank speech. Once you go on to the website.
