John Loeffler: November 30, 2015
Is your narrative and worldview standing on solid ground? In this weeks boralogue, John shows that because freedoms of speech, religion, and conscience are under attack in the West, we need to know who we are and what we believe. Rooting ourselves in Gods Truth will prepare us for the spiritual battles plaguing our freedoms and will allow us to endure when the battle is over. We need to put on the full armor of God and take our stand. There are differences between not only Christianity and other religions but also within Christian sects. Bodie Hodge (www.answersingenesis.org), Speaker and Writer for Answers in Genesis, analyzes these differences by looking at worldviews from a religious perspective, what we base our beliefs on, and the importance of the authority of Gods Word. Assaults on freedom of religion will have an impact on the economy and business. Bill Walton (www.cgtv.us), Chairman of Rappahannock Ventures and host of On Common Ground, looks at new rights trumping old ones with recent court rulings, faith institutions under attack, and shows that we need to be educated in both history and current events in order to stand up under religious persecution. Finally we are joined by Paul House (www.beesondivinity.com), Professor of Divinity at Beeson Divinity School, who reviews the seminary formation Dietrich Bonhoeffer required of his students, which was a radical departure from the norms of his day and based on a dedication to the Word of God as pertinent for each of his students, rather than something merely of academic interest. There is no Section 6 intelligence brief this week due to the Thanksgiving holiday. We will return next week with important geopolitical stories.
