On this PTIB, post-Rosh HaShana, Winkie Medad will join Jimmy DeYoung to have a conversation about how the Jewish people celebrate the Jewish New Year, Rosh HaShana. Jimmy and Winkie will discuss why the New Year comes on the first day of the seventh Jewish month; why the blowing of the Shofars and/or the Trumpets on this day; and its connection to the Garden of Eden; then the three Fall Jewish Feast days, Trumpets, Yom Kippur and Tabernacles; and finally Jimmy and Winkie will look ahead into the New Year, 5778, as it relates to Iran, the Jewish settlements and the City of Jerusalem.
