The Character of Jesus: Reasonable The idea of “reasoning” with someone is like saying, “I’m right, you’re wrong, listen to me.” Almost seems UNREASONABLE. But when God says to His people, “Come, let us reason together,” that’s EXACTLY what He means. Part rebuke, part correction, 100 percent beneficial. Today we will begin the third sermon message in this series, as we examine another character trait of Jesus, that of being “Reasonable.” You probably remember the scripture that says, “Come let us reason together.” In this case, though, to reason means to think through, to earnestly seek to be enlightened with the truth. And how do we do that? We listen to Jesus, who said, “I am the way, the TRUTH and the life.
