Good evening and welcome to the Worldview Report.
Israel on Saturday carried out its largest hostage rescue since the war with Hamas began, taking four to safety out of central Gaza in a daring raid in the midst of heavy fighting with Hamas terrorists.
Israelis celebrated as the army said it rescued 25-year-old Noa Argamani; 21-year-old Almog Meir Jan, 27-year-old Andrey Kozlov, and 40-year-old Shlomi Ziv, in a daytime operation in the heart of Nuseirat. The Israelis raided two locations at once while coming under heavy fire.
Hamas claims three other hostages were killed in the raid, along with dozens of Hamas terrorists and several Israeli soldiers.
The Associated Press cited Israeli military sources saying that all of the rescued hostages were in good health. They were taken by helicopter for medical checks and reunions with loved ones after 246 days in captivity.
Argamani had been one of the most widely recognized hostages after being taken, like the three others, from a music festival. The video of her abduction was among the first to surface, with her between two men on a motorcycle as she screamed, “Don’t kill me!”
Her mother, Liora, has stage-four brain cancer and in April released a video pleading to see her daughter before she dies.
An elated Argamani spoke by phone with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. In a video message released by the government, she tells him she is “very excited,” saying she hasn’t heard Hebrew in a long time.
Netanyahu said in a statement “Israel does not surrender to terrorism and acts with creativity and boldness that knows no bounds to bring home our abductees.” He vowed to continue the fighting until all are freed.
Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said the operation was “daring in nature, planned brilliantly, and executed in an extraordinary fashion.”

In a tragic turn of events, Breitbart reports that Yossi Meir Jan, the 57-year-old father of freed Israeli hostage Almog Meir Jan, died just hours before his son was rescued by Israeli forces Saturday. The cause of death, his family said, was a broken heart after eight months of his son’s captivity.
The Jerusalem Post reported that the father of Almog Meir Jan, one of the four hostages rescued from Hamas captivity, was found dead in his home on Saturday, according to Israeli media reports.
Though he was ill, family members told Israeli media that they believe he died from grief.
Yossi’s sister Dina added in an interview with KAN Bet on Saturday night that their father was “glued to the television, clinging to every piece of information… he wanted to know everything that was happening to him and what he was going through.”
The Times of Israel added:
“He lost 20 kilos, he couldn’t bear it in any way,” Dina said, adding: “He closed himself off, didn’t want to see people. Everyone was worried about Yossi, but he wasn’t able to communicate with anyone.”
Dina said she had received a phone call from the army telling her that her nephew had been rescued, and the officer told her they had been unable to reach Yossi.
She rushed to his house and found him dead.
Yossi Meir Jan will be buried Sunday in a private ceremony. Also being laid to rest is Chief Inspector Arnon Zamora, the leader of the Yamam anti-terrorist unit in the Israeli police who was killed during Saturday’s rescue operation in Gaza.

The United States military last week conducted what it called routine intercontinental nuclear missile tests, and the timing of the tests has not escaped the Russian media.
The American military announced it carried out two tests of intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) over a three-day period, while claiming the tests are “routine,” and have nothing to do with the rising war tensions with Russia.
According to a report by the Russian news outlet RT, two Minuteman III missiles were launched from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California on Tuesday and Thursday of last week, the Pentagon said. They were armed with dummy re-entry vehicles instead of the nuclear warheads they would normally carry.
The Air Force Global Strike Command said about Tuesday’s launch:
“This test launch is part of routine and periodic activities intended to demonstrate that the U.S. nuclear deterrent is safe, secure, reliable, and effective to deter 21st-century threats and reassure our allies.”
There have been “over 300” tests of this kind over the last roughly 50 years, the Pentagon stated. It made sure to say that last week’s launches were “not the result of current world events.”
As noted by RT, there have been growing concerns in Washington about the ground-based leg of the U.S. nuclear triad. A November 2023 Minuteman missile test failed due to “an anomaly” and had to be destroyed after launch.
Meanwhile, Russia also began a series of tactical nuclear exercises last month. But the Kremlin made no bones about the intention of its tests, fully acknowledging that they have everything to do with Russia’s current war tensions with NATO member states.
Since the tests, Ukraine has targeted two of Russia’s long-range early-warning radar systems, raising the possibility of a nuclear exchange.
So far, there has not been any word from the U.S. military as to whether its ICBM tests were successful.
In 2021, the head of the US Strategic Command lamented that the service life of the Minuteman III nuclear missiles cannot be extended for much longer. Admiral Charles Richard said at the time:
“That thing is so old that, in some cases, the drawings don’t exist anymore. The drawings that do exist are “like six generations behind the industry standard,” while the technicians who can fully understand them “are not alive anymore.”
Earlier this year, the Pentagon awarded a $405 million contract to Boeing for the maintenance and service of Minuteman III missiles. Yes, you heard that right. Boeing, which is perhaps the most beleaguered and incompetent of all defense contractors, is tasked with bringing these severely dated weapons back up to speed.

Infowars reports that New York Democrat Paula Collins, who is running against Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.), said Trump supporters should be placed in “reeducation camps” after the 2024 election.
Collins said at recent town hall meeting:
“…really important in moving forward and moving through this. Even if we were to have a resounding blue wave come through as many of us would like, putting it all back together again after we’ve gone through this MAGA nightmare and reeducating, basically. Which, that sounds like a rather, um, a reeducation camp. I don’t think we really want to call it that. I’m sure we can find another way to phrase it.”
We have the audio. Take a listen.

The U.S. Coast Guard made headlines on Thursday as it offloaded more than 4,800 pounds of cocaine, valued at over $63 million, at a port in Florida. The bust was the result of two intense operations off the coast of Venezuela, where a shootout at sea led to the sinking of a suspected drug smuggling boat and its crew.

The operations were carried out by a Royal Netherlands Navy patrol boat, equipped with a U.S. Coast Guard law enforcement detachment and a helicopter interdiction tactical squadron.
The U.S. Coast Guard revealed in a social media post that the cocaine seizure and shootout in the Caribbean Sea occurred about a week after another significant offload. In San Diego, a separate Coast Guard crew offloaded $468 million worth of cocaine, a haul resulting from eight separate operations off the coasts of Mexico, Central America, and South America.
In a related press release, the U.S. Coast Guard and Dutch authorities announced the suspension of their search for missing persons following the high-seas shootout. This decision was made after extensive efforts to locate any survivors from the sunken vessel.

IMF deputy managing director Gita Gopinath has given Washington an unusually blunt warning, demanding that the United States take steps to get its massive debt under control.
Gopinath said in an interview published Saturday by the Financial Times:
“For the US, we see ample ground for them to reduce the size of their fiscal deficits, also given the strength of the US economy.”
She added that:
“The temptation to finance all spending through borrowing really is something that countries should avoid,” emphasizing that Western economies have “no way of getting around fundamental reforms,” including to their social sectors and in the realm of taxation.
I don’t know about you, but that sounds more like a call for Washington to enact a massive tax increase than it does to rein in out-of-control government spending.
Gopinath’s comments follow on the heels of an IMF forecast in April warning that the exploding U.S. debt was “out of line with what is needed for long-term fiscal stability,” and that the projected US federal deficit of 7.1 percent for 2025 was more than three times the 2 percent average showing by other advanced economies. The US federal debt is expected to more than double by the year 2053.

The New York Post reports that former LSU basketball player Josh Maravich, son of late Hall of Fame basketball player Pete Maravich, died suddenly last Friday at the age of 42, the university announced Saturday night.

No cause of death has been released.
Josh Maravich was an interesting story. He was a reserve, back-of-the-bench player for LSU — which plays home games in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center — from the 2001 to 2005 seasons under then-coach John Brady.
For the younger Maravich, it was a childhood dream to play for LSU, in the same building named after his father, who set the men’s NCAA Men’s Division I scoring record of 3,667 points between 1967 and 1970. That record still stands today and the name of Pistol-Pete Maravich is known to all basketball fans.
Josh Maravich said in a 2005 article in the LSU student newspaper:
“I wanted to come here for my dad to make him proud. I knew I wasn’t going to be a star player, but for me being a walk-on was what I always wanted to do.”
Pete Maravich was a prolific scorer during his storied NBA career, but his life, like that of his son’s, was cut short at a young age.
In 1988, at age 40, Pete Maravich died from a heart condition that had gone undetected.

The systematic war on U.S historical monuments continues to be waged by Marxist radicals across the U.S.
You don’t hear about these punks as much as you did a couple of years ago but they continue their wretched work. Any public reminder of where this country came from, how it was founded, and what it was based upon is fair game for these radicals.
We have a video showing them defacing a statue of American Revolutionary War hero General Rochambeau on Saturday. The statue was unveiled in 1902 in Washington, DC.

A report from the Tennessee Star indicates that Audrey Hale, the 28-year-old transgendered female who identified as a male and shot and killed six people on March 27, 2023, bought her guns with federal grant money.
CNN noted that Hale bought a total of seven guns between October 20, 2020, and June 6, 2022, and all were legally purchased using government money.

The Tennessee Star quoted 99.7 WTN radio host Brian Wilson noting that Hale allegedly “took money from an education grant she received to purchase her weapons and to pay for training at a local gun range.”
Hale hid the guns in her family home and, a day after the heinous shooting, her parents said they were unaware. They thought Hale had bought one gun in the past, then sold it.
But Hale had several guns and took three of them to carry out the attack.
Despite numerous false reports in the corporate media, including CNN, which claimed Hale “was in possession of an AR-15 military-style rifle” in the school, she did not use an AR-15 rifle during the attack.
Still photos from security cameras in the school indicated the carbine used in the killings was a 9mm Kel-Tec SUB2000, not an AR-15.

Karen Kingston reported in a post to her Substack Saturday that the 9th Circuit Federal Court of Appeals has overruled a lower court and stated that mandating COVID-19 vaccines violated the individual human rights of teachers and other staff of the Los Angeles Unified School District.
And the basis of the decision was interesting. Because the Covid shots were mRNA and did not stop the spread of Covid, they were not vaccines in the traditional sense.
A lower federal court had dismissal the teachers’ case against the School District’s vaccine mandate for employees.
Announcing this huge win on behalf of their clients, Health Freedom Defense Fund issued a press release, stating that the appeal was won:
“On the merits, the majority ruled that the district court had misapplied the Supreme Court’s 1905 decision in Jacobson v. Massachusetts when it dismissed LAUSD’s lawsuit on grounds that the mandate was rationally related to a legitimate state interest. In Jacobson, the Supreme Court upheld the constitutionality of a smallpox vaccination mandate because it related to ‘preventing the spread’ of smallpox.”
The majority, however, noted that Health Freedom Defense Foundation had alleged in the lawsuit that the COVID jabs are not traditional vaccines because they do not prevent the spread of COVID-19 but only purport to mitigate COVID symptoms in the recipient. This, the foundation had alleged, makes the COVID jab a medical treatment, not a vaccine.
The court recognized that mitigating symptoms rather than preventing the spread of disease “distinguishes Jacobson, thus presenting a different government interest.” Based on this reasoning, the majority disapproved the trial court’s contention that, even if the jabs do not prevent the spread, “Jacobson still dictates that the vaccine mandate is subject to, and survives, the rational basis test.”

Time now for our Worldview Report commentary.
Following a historic loss to Marine Le Pen’s right-wing party in European elections on Sunday, French President Emmanuel Macron said he is dissolving the French parliament.
Macron said France will hold new elections on June 30 and July 7, a high-stakes maneuver that the Wall Street Journal said "stunned" the nation.
Macron, a globalist and one of the loudest proponents of NATO’s war with Russia using Ukraine as its proxy, saw his party’s fortunes go down in flames in Sunday’s European Elections.
Projections showed National Rally garnering around 31% of the vote, twice the support for Macron’s Renew Party.
The situation represents a humbling for Macron and his war party.
The National Rally’s Jordan Bardella described the vote as “a verdict against which there is no appeal.” He said Macron was now a severely weakened leader.
As results from around Europe continued to come in on Sunday, right-wing, anti-immigration, populist parties were making gains not just in France but across the continent.
Make no mistake, what happened in the European elections over the weekend bodes well for Republicans in the U.S. elections come November. If those elections are even moderately free and fair, the GOP will win big. But of course that’s a big IF.
People in the West do not want war with Russia. They see no need to send their sons off to fight Russians in the globalists’ latest money-making adventure.
But we need more than just a change of parties. We need a change of philosophy. Globalist politicians right now rule the roost in both major parties. We have warmongers like Lindsey Graham in the GOP and Joe Biden and Chuck Schumer in the Democrat leadership. They all must be defeated to send a message to Washington. And the daily Russia-hatred spewing from the corporate media, while it no doubt plays well on Wall Street, holds no appeal on Main Street.
People want peace with Russia and do not respect the media’s casting Vladimir Putin as a “modern Hitler” who poses a threat to Western freedom and democracy. The truth is, the West has big problems with its own leaders who are not committed to freedom or democracy – they seek to undermine the liberties afforded by our Constitutional Republic at every turn.
So, let’s work to replace our own tyrants before we go off to fight against a foreign tyrant.
That does it for this edition of the Worldview Report. Thanks for watching and supporting this viewer-supported broadcast.
