Leading off tonight, the kicker for the Superbowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs is receiving blowback after he delivered an anti-woke, pro-family commencement speech to a small Catholic university.

Now the mainstream media and liberal activists are trying to cancel traditional Catholic NFL kicker Harrison Butker after his speech to graduates at Benedictine College in Atchinson, Kansas, this past Saturday.

During his 20-minute speech, Butker, who is unvaccinated, unapologetically pushed back against abortion as well as so-called Pride Month, which he called a “deadly sin.” He also singled out Joe Biden, cowardly U.S. Catholic bishops, and the “tyranny of diversity, equity and inclusion.”

After several days of criticism and mocking comments from liberal-media types and fellow celebrities, Butker’s employer, the NFL, finally weighed in on Thursday with a comment of its own. NFL Senior Vice President and Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer Jonathan Beane told People magazine in a written statement:

“Harrison Butker gave a speech in his personal capacity. His views are not those of the NFL as an organization. The NFL is steadfast in our commitment to inclusion, which only makes our league stronger.”

Good for this young man for standing up for what he believes in.

Speaking of DEI nut cases, the U.S. Department of Justice announced that the former manager of Facebook’s and Nike’s diversity, equity and inclusion programs has been sentenced to five years prison for stealing more than $5 million from the two companies. She conducted an elaborate scheme involving fraudulent vendors, fictitious paperwork, and cash kickbacks to herself.

Barbara Furlow-Smiles, 38, of Marietta, Georgia, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Steven D. Grimberg and ordered to pay restitution of $5 million to Facebook and Nike. Furlow-Smiles was convicted of wire fraud on December 11, 2023, after she pleaded guilty.

U.S. Attorney Ryan K. Buchanan stated in a DOJ press release:

“Furlow-Smiles shamelessly violated her position of trust as a DEI executive at Facebook to steal millions from the company utilizing a scheme involving fraudulent vendors, fake invoices, and cash kickbacks. After being terminated from Facebook, she brazenly continued the fraud as a DEI leader at Nike, where she stole another six-figure sum from their diversity program. Her prison sentence reflects the consequences of her decision to orchestrate an intricate scheme to defraud two of her employers for personal profit.”

Furlow-Smiles caused Facebook to pay numerous individuals for goods and services that were never provided and then directed those individuals to kick back the fraudulent proceeds to herself, often in cash.

NBC News is reporting that a former Marine from New Jersey was arrested last Friday and accused of threatening to kill white people and carry out a mass shooting.

Federal prosecutors say Joshua Cobb, 23, of Trenton, wrote on social media in December 2022, before he joined the Marines last year: “I want to cause mayhem on the white community” and “I want to erase them.” This is according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey, which released details of the case in a May 13 statement.

Cobb continued on in the December 17, 2022, post to say he wanted to commit a mass shooting in 2023 and: “As of today I have officially began planning my attack.” It also alleged he said he had obtained two of the four guns he planned to use.

Cobb joined the Marine Corps and attended basic training in South Carolina from June to October last year, according to a criminal complaint. He was stationed at Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center in Twentynine Palms, California, in February and discharged on or around May 10.

Cobb identified himself as Black in the online posts, under the account “1dayUsuffer,” an FBI special agent wrote in an arrest affidavit that is part of the complaint.

Interviewed by the FBI at the Marine base in California, Cobb admitted the accounts on social media were his and told agents he continued to have homicidal thoughts, according to the FBI affidavit.

The British Royal Family has released the first official portrait of King Charles III since his inauguration one year ago, and it is causing quite a stir.

The artwork, characterized by its vibrant red hues and detailed depiction of Charles in his Welsh Guards uniform, was said to be a tribute to the king’s longstanding service. 

But an unexpected visual phenomenon involving the mirrored image of the portrait has captured the public’s imagination.

The Gateway Pundit reported that the portrait was painted by artist Jonathan Yeo, and it depicts Charles against a background of “vivid red hues” wearing the uniform of the Welsh Guards military unit. Charles was made Regimental Colonel of this regiment in 1975.

A butterfly flutters just above his right shoulder to complete the disturbing effect.

Yeo said, “My aim was also to make reference to the traditions of Royal portraiture but in a way that reflects a 21st Century Monarchy and, above all else, to communicate the subject’s deep humanity.”

Commenters were not kind to the artwork, basically saying “it looks like he is in hell.” Even the New York Post called it the “ghostly-looking” Charles portrait.

Some asked if it was “all the blood on his hands?” or said that they “100% thought this was satire,” while other said it looked “like he’s bathing in blood.”

The economic wars between the U.S. and China are heating up.

The Biden administration’s proposed tariffs on Chinese goods have been dismissed by China’s state-run Global Times as a “farce,” reserving particular contempt for the administration’s efforts to protect the American electric vehicle industry from Chinese competition.

The Chinese Communist Party organ lectured the U.S. administration, stating:

“This approach contradicts President Biden’s commitment of not ‘holding back China’s development’ and not ‘seeking decoupling from China.’ It also goes against the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries. To some extent, it can even be understood as the U.S. initiating a new round of tariff friction.”

The outlet further proclaimed that:

“Before announcing the imposition of additional tariffs on China, the U.S. repeatedly spread negative information in an attempt to smear related Chinese technology and products. This is essentially a sign of guilt, trying to manipulate public opinion to cover up the fact that they are politicizing and instrumentalizing economic and trade issues.”

The “farce” part of the Global Times’ critique was apparently the Biden regime complaining about the dangers of Chinese EV dumping when “almost zero” vehicles are currently imported from China to begin with. 

The CCP writers dismissed the entire Biden trade policy as little more than a “political show aimed at winning voters in an election year” and threatened that Beijing would respond with “resolute measures to defend its own interests.”

A former Global Times editor blasted Biden’s tariff hike on Chinese EVs from 27 percent to 102 percent as a sign of “panic and incompetence.”

He saw the tariffs as a sign of weakness, a “white flag raised by the U.S.” to admit it has given up in the face of Chinese competition.

The dramatic increase in the number of Chinese nationals illegally crossing into the United States from Mexico under Joe Biden’s watch has captured the attention of conservative journalists and national-security experts who see it as a ticking time bomb.

The Federalist filed a report Thursday warning that this trend not only highlights a significant breach in national security but also “facilitates greater infiltration by the Chinese Communist Party into the United States, posing substantial risks not sufficiently addressed by current federal policies.”

Reports indicate that in just the first two days of May 2024, more Chinese nationals entered the U.S. illegally than in all of 2021. This massive flow of Chinese communists into America is facilitated by an alarming oversimplification in the vetting process instituted by the Department of Homeland Security under Joe Biden, reducing the number of interview questions for Chinese nationals from approximately 40 to just five. 

The Federalist report notes that such measures dangerously prioritize “processing efficiency” over national security checks, leaving gaping vulnerabilities that could be exploited by the CCP to insert spies or other dangerous actors into our country.

Biden’s lax border policies have resulted in border agents being so overwhelmed with illegal crossings and fraudulent asylum requests that basic national-security measures have been completely abandoned.

The Federalist writes:

“Given the geopolitical tensions and the CCP’s documented strategy of using nontraditional means for warfare — as highlighted in its doctrine of Unrestricted Warfare, which advocates for the use of various tactics including economic pressure, cyber-attacks, and ideological infiltration — the lack of rigorous screening and the high volume of unchecked entries is deeply concerning. The implications are not just limited to espionage but extend to the potential for creating societal disruptions and furthering the CCP’s global influence campaign in America.”

The most senior medical oncologist in Japan recently slammed the COVID-19 mRNA shots as “the work of evil” that has caused “essentially murder.”

In an interview published April 19, Dr. Masanori Fukushima, who spearheaded the first cancer outpatient clinic at Kyoto University, listed the many problems with COVID mRNA jabs. The evidence suggest what he called an “abuse of science.”

Doctors are suddenly seeing so-called turbo cancers that were unheard of before. The mainstream corporate media is hiding this information from the public.

Medical commentator John Campbell, Ph.D. said on a recent episode of his YouTube podcast that “Over the next five years, it looks like there’s going to be a lot of money put into innovation of the messenger RNA and lipid nanoparticles.”

Campbell cited a recent interview with Bill Gates and a 2022 TED Talk, where Gates laid out his five-year vision for global health. Campbell played clips from Gates’ talks and offered a point-by-point critique.

In one clip, Gates promoted mRNA as easy, cheap, self-assembling and scalable.

Gates said there will be “factories worldwide that can make $2 vaccines with even less lead time than we’ve had during this pandemic.”

And those factories will be making vaccines for every disease, Gates said.

Campbell, a former nurse and healthcare educator, said this all sounded “quite incredible” and doubted any of it could be realized.

What qualifications, Campbell asked, does Gates have to be making such ambitious predictions?

Campbell said “that instead of developing mRNA vaccines for every disease, there should be a “complete moratorium” on using mRNA lipid nanoparticle technology “until we know what the heck is going on.”

Just weeks away from Gay Pride month, the country of Peru has officially classified transgenderism and intersex identities as “mentally ill.”

Peruvian President Dina Boluarte signed a decree that defines “transsexualism” and “gender identity disorder in children” as mental illnesses, along with “dual-role transvestitism,” “fetishistic transvestism,” and “other gender-identity disorders” listed under the same umbrella.

Pink News reported that the country’s health ministry reportedly claimed following the decree’s announcement that it was the only way it could “guarantee full coverage of medical attention for mental health.”

Last week, before the bill was signed into law, the health ministry said LGBTQIA+ people should not be subjected to so-called “conversion therapies” and pointed to a 2021 resolution which protects against conversion therapy practices.

Cited by the left-leaning British news outlet The Telegraph, Percy Mayta-Tristán, a medical researcher at Lima’s Scientific University of the South, said the law may have been well-intentioned but it revealed a lack of “awareness” of complex issues surrounding the LGTBQOA+ crowd.

He stated, “You can’t ignore the context that this is happening in a super-conservative society, where the LGBT community has no rights and where labeling them as mentally ill opens the door to conversion therapy.”

In other news, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico remains in a serious but stabilized condition and is no longer at imminent risk of death after an attempted assassination, his party colleague said Thursday.

Robert Kaliňák, the deputy prime minister and defense minister of Slovakia, spoke briefly outside the hospital where his party leader and the nation’s prime minister underwent emergency surgery on Wednesday. Kaliňák said Prime Minister Fico suffered “complicated injuries” and is in a “very serious” but now stabilized condition.

The director of the hospital also spoke at a press conference Thursday morning, revealing that Prime Minister Fico had suffered “multiple gunshot wounds” and that the surgery to save his life lasted five hours under two surgical teams. Fico is now recovering in an intensive care unit, she said.

Fico was shot while greeting the public after he had just hosted a cabinet meeting. The alleged gunman has been identified in Slovak media as 71-year-old “leftist” poet Juraj Cintula.

Police and Fico’s political colleagues say they suspect a political motive for what is being treated as attempted assassination of the head of government. 

The publication The Conservative Daily Post noted that just 35 days before the gunman struck, Fico himself warned that the polarization in Slovakian society and hostile atmosphere in the media was creating a dangerous atmosphere that could lead to a politician being murdered.

Fico has opposed sending more military aid to Ukraine and also stood firm against the WHO’s proposed Pandemic Treaty.

Time now for our Worldview Report commentary.

The FBI and Homeland Security have issued an alert warning that Gay Pride events scheduled for cities throughout the U.S. in June may be targeted by ISIS and other Islamic terrorist organizations.

Of course, our woke federal law-enforcement agencies never utter the word Islamic, Islamic State, or Muslim.

Here’s what they said in a release issued this week:

“Foreign terrorist organizations or supporters may seek to exploit increased gatherings associated with the upcoming June 2024 Pride Month.”

The warning explained that so-called foreign terrorist organizations, or FTOs, will make efforts to “commit or inspire violence against holiday celebrations, including Pride celebrations or LGBTQIA+-related venues, are compounded by the current heightened threat environment in the United States and other Western countries.”

The statement goes on to read:

“FTOs and their supporters have previously promoted anti-LGBTQIA+ rhetoric and targeted LGBTQIA+ related events or venues for attacks.”

English-language ISIS messaging reportedly featured an article in February 2023 calling for “followers to conduct attacks on unidentified soft targets, although the attacks and targets were not specific to LGBTQIA+ venues.”

It’s also significant that June 12, 2024, is the eighth anniversary of the Pulse Nightclub shooting in Orlando, Florida. After the shooting that killed 49 and wounded 53, the FBI alert says “pro-ISIS messaging praised this attack as one of the high-profile attacks in Western countries, and FTO supporters celebrated it.”

The alert also noted a June 2023 attempted attack on a Pride parade in Vienna, Austria, by three alleged ISIS sympathizers using knives and a vehicle.

The number of people on the terror watch list attempting to enter the country illegally has skyrocketed under Biden’s term, along with the number of unvetted refugees being admitted from Islamic countries.

So, the current U.S. government policy appears to be one of encouraging Islamic terrorists to enter the country on the one hand, while labeling Americans who oppose them as xenophobic and Islamophobic, then on the other hand warning of impending attacks by these same Islamic terrorists they have allowed in and protected from being called out as dangerous. The fact that these “foreign terrorists” are also Islamic terrorists is never mentioned in the FBI alerts.
