It’s dangerous to get too close to a fire and to get too close to sexual sin. The price is too high. That’s why the seventh commandment teaches us to avoid all forms of sexual sin. That means faithfulness to the wife or husband God gives us. The result: a life free from the entanglements that can stop us in our tracks.
