The Holy Spirit is very sensitive, that’s why He is usually depicted as a gentle dove. He will not force Himself upon us so we must become attuned to Him so that we don’t grieve Him. As we mature in our faith, we become ever more sensitive to the Spirit’s presence, and our behavior will, slowly but surely, begin to change.
