Twisted Scriptures, Twisted Theology (Program #12)
Verse: Matthew 7:6 is often used by people when they are having an intellectual or philosophical debate with someone and they become frustrated. They will say that they are done casting pearls before swine. However, that is not the context of what Jesus was saying in Matthew 7:6. Learn the real context and when to not cast pearls before swine and what the pearls represent. Verses: Hebrews 6:4-6 and Hebrews 10:26-29 does not teach that one can lose their salvation if truly saved but is about those that have heard the gospel, and even saw the powerful work of the Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ and yet rejected the gospel. A parallel text would be Matthew 12:22-37 and the Pharisees that heard the gospel from Jesus Christ Himself and saw His great works but yet blasphemed God. Topic: We take your calls.
