Brannon Howse: Aired July 18, 2013
Mike Gendron joins Brannon to discuss how the Vatican is now offering time out of purgatory for those that follow the Pope on Twitter and follow the World Youth Day. Brannon and Mike reveal Biblical Scriptures that reveal the lie of purgatory. Will this latest silly stunt by the Vatican cause more Catholics to realize the scam that is the Catholic Church? Brannon opens up the phone lines for several former Catholics to call in with their testimonies. First Brannon covers the latest silly comments by Russell Moore stating that the Zimmerman trial teaches us that racial justice has not be achieved in America. Moore further states that whites and blacks view the trial differently. Brannon explains how he believes that Moores comments further reveal his liberalism. Brannon explains that for Moore to make the sweeping comment that blacks and whites all see the trial differently is really offensive as there are many blacks and whites that agree with the verdict as well as blacks and whites that disagree with the verdict. Furthermore, what does Moore mean by a lack of racial justice? Over the years America has seen the passage of the Civil Rights Act, the election of a black president, more than one black U.S. Supreme Court justice, numerous black governors, U.S. Senators, U.S. Representatives, and Mayors of major American cities. We have seen a black male and female in recent years serve as the U.S. Secretary of State. We currently have a black U.S. Attorney General, which is the highest law enforcement job in the nation. We have also seen many Hispanics that have reached high office including Attorney General of the United States under George W. Bush. The Southern Baptist Convention has a black president at this time. Even in the south where racial tensions have been extremely exploited over the years by race-baiters; there are numerous blacks that have been elected to office even when white voters were the majority of voters in those elections. Brannon explains that he believes for Moore to stir the pot with these comments is extremely disappointing and reveals is liberalism or ignorance or both?
