Recently, Pastor Robert Jeffress of First Baptist Church of Dallas got himself into hot water with the Dallas Morning News and Mayor because of advertisements placed around the city that he was going to preach his Fourth of July sermon on why America is a Christian nation. Jeffress was called bigoted, racist, and Xenophobic merely because of this point of view. Yet, demonstrating that America was indeed founded as a Christian nation is very easy to prove historically. Today, we will show you how to do just that and why it remains a legitimate historical categorization.
