Twisted Scripture, Twisted Theology (Program #6)

Twisted Scripture #23:
I Peter 4:6:
For this reason the gospel was preached also to those who are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.

Twisted Scripture #24:
Hebrews 6:4-6:
For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.

Twisted Scripture #25:
Hebrews 10:26-29:
For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he (Christ) was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace?

Twisted Scripture #26:
I Peter 3:19:
For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us
to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit, by whom also He went and preached to the spirits in prison,  who formerly were disobedient, when once the Divine longsuffering waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water.
