We as Christians know that God’s Word is true from the beginning to the end. But how do we convince unbelievers of this fact? And what place should we give to evidences for the Christian faith?

This week on “Encounter God’s Truth” we begin a new series on “Christian Evidences.” Dr. John Whitcomb opens a sermon entitled, “The Need for Christian Evidences.” While showing the powerful witness provided by evidences that the Lord graciously allows to demonstrate the truthfulness of the Scriptures, our teacher also explores the limitations of these evidences.

Dr. Whitcomb first presented this teaching to the students and faculty of Appalachian Bible College in Mount Hope, West Virginia. You can sense his love for the people of this school in his voice, and we heartily thank them for allowing us to bring you this material.
