Jason Pratt: March 6, 2018
Join us for Mission 18-08 (take 2) of "It's NOT Rocket Science with Jason Pratt". Wait, what? Take 2? Yup, we're interrupting out series on the Bible and Science to look at a very serious topic, and you know what? It's NOT Rocket Science, criminals break the law, it's what they do! So we look at an interesting dilemma that left wing talking points present. That is one where 18 year old young adults should be listened to and admired for their stance on what we should believe regarding civil rights, Constitutional rights, and gun control, yet these same young adults are not old enough to be trusted with the responsibility of purchasing a rifle. So which is it? An 18 year old survivor of the horrific shooting at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School has become twice victimized as the left uses her to propagate their propaganda and lie. As an active duty member of the military, a Federal Firearms Licensee, and an NRA Firearms Instructor, I'm amazed at how a young woman is used by the mainstream media to spread lies just a day after she suffered the trauma of having her classmates murdered by a criminal. Despite the fact that the shooters classmates knew him to be dangerous, his teachers knew, the local Sheriff's department knew after responding more than 30 times, and the FBI knew that he was a serious threat, the left wants to blame the law abiding citizens, the National Rifle Association, and the 2nd Amendment of the Constitution. I took an oath to defend that Constitution and I will attempt to honor that oath in this special episode of "It's NOT Rocket Science". I will expose just a few of the lies that are spread during a student rally following the terrible event of February 14, 2018 which victimizes these students a second time. The evil, pride, and hatred that committed the first murder is the same that committed 17 murders despite the school being a gun free zone and despite the violation of many more laws. And despite all this the narrative is that more laws will prevent such criminal activity while our school children are taught to reject God and His offer of salvation. We also consider if Christians should use their abilities to save lives, whether administering first aid, pulling someone from a burning building or using a firearm to stop a murderer.
