Like the current warnings about global warming today, Nimoy speaks about the potential “hunger and death on a scale unprecedented” in all of human history. It can be seen as nothing less than remarkable that the scientific experts were so certain of a new ice age less than 40 years ago, but are now convinced that things are going in completely the opposite direction.
